It's the people that make it a great campground. Need somewhere to walk our dog instead of just having them go on people's lots. Also, hope the power issue is better next year.need more 50amp sites.

People were very friendly, met people who could be life time friends. Loved all the activities. My wife loved the water and “walk” aerobics and I love the pickle ball competition! Enjoyed the poolside entertainment and end of season street party. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This is based on 10 + years staying here.The park offers a lot of amenities - golf, pools ,live entertainment tennis and pickel ball courts as well as a shanty. It is however a very old park and the infastructure shows it - electrical boxes are ancient, cable is terrible ,washers are often out of order, internet has always been an issue. We kept coming here for friends made no other reason

Pools temperature warm and consistent it was not Laundry washers always broken room needs to be cleaner. Music should be by the pool, not just in the Shanity.

Overall this is a great place. We stayed here for a month as we were transitioning to the state. This place is geared more towards the snow bird and retiree community. The laundry facilities could use updating and expansion. The playground definitely needs work as it was falling down. Other than that, a great place to go and stay and meet new people and make friendships.

Stayed on site 217s. Main power cables sitting on top of the ground for a year. Many issues with the pedestals around me. This is a major electric code violation. I hope the upgrades cover this block of sites. Very hazardous as the lawn mowers ride over these cables. Park is super, looking forward to next year already.

One of our main reasons to stay there was the 9 hole golf course but only having 6 useable golf carts to rent wasn't a good option for folks that don't have their own golf cart.

We stayed last year in an RV site for 3 weeks and loved it so much we stayed for 2 months this year. We have already made our reservations for 3 months next year. We enjoy the park, activities and the 2 pools are amazing. The girls in the office were awesome and the maintenance guys were too. We’ve made some wonderful friends here. would highly recommend.

Have a 34 foot 5th wheel with 3 slides, booked 6 mo. in advance, tiny corner lot at intersection with mud/water hole in front, small patch (6x6) of grass for yard, tiny picnic table, no place to park, cg main sewer bubbling over-stench, golf carts constantly racing by, large/very loud gatherings neighbors each night, W/D our end not working, extra charge for wi-fi, very expensive for what we got.

We’ve enjoyed this KOA as our winter home for many years. Improvements need to be made but management has committed to work on them. We look forward to seeing the results next winter.

We stayed for 4 months and enjoyed every day. The choices for activities always kept us busy. A big thank you to Andrea, Jason, and all the staff at the office, store, Shanty, C.C. and the maintenance crew! Looking forward to returning next year.

It's a wonderful resort! Everything you would want! 2 pools, church services, more activities than I can mention, 9 hole golf course, paved streets, a nice bar, live entertainment throughout the season, staff very friendly. I can't give it a 4 1/2 or I would. Only down side is many spots are too small, not long enough to park your vehicle & many people have golf carts so nowhere to park them.

Well managed, clean campground with 3 pools and fun activities for campers, including children. Their children’s play area is wonderful with many things for them to do. The only thing we didn’t like was the traffic noise (hum and sirens) from highway 4. However, being near Orlando offered many things to do and see and varied restaurants to eat at. Very nice dog friendly cabin. plenty of room for a couple and our 2 dogs, for a week long stay. Nice sitting outdoors with a fenced in area of the porch and only a doggy gate needed to keep the dogs contained and safe on the outside porch, no need for a dog chain and the dogs were much more happy being outside and free to roam about.

Very nice campground. Adult pool was a great feature. Extra charge for wifi was not expected and quite exorbitant. Site was much shorter than advertised. Described as KOA PATIO, but didn’t have any furniture like they usually do, just an old dirty small picnic table. But for these issues I would rate it a 5.

Very nice and well maintained campground. Sites are a little closer together and smaller than most KOAs but it is a huge park with daily activities.

We have been coming here for twelve years because my husband loves the golf and we have made good friends. WiFi is unavailable at any cost, laundry facilities are very unreliable. It isn’t particularly dog friendly. One small kampk9 and now they will no longer allow crates for the dogs on your patios. I think they are wanting an adults only facility. Such a shame!

We loved the KOA in Okeechobee. Friendly staff and lots to do. And we made lots of new friends. Looking forward to return next year. Best campsite I ever been to, highly recommended. Thank you for a fabulous vacation.

Overall positive. However, there are things that need addressed to be 1st class. Concrete on many sites are broken up, 50 amps need to be a standard and not split to 30 and 50amps. Sewer hookups in ground are unsatisfactory. Start dates should be more flexible and not first of the month. Hot tub Was out of service the entire winter and it’s too small for that size of resort.

This is a 4+ rating. Facilities are very clean and the staff is very professional and attentive. Some of the rules are not enforced as well as they could/should be especially speed limits. Overall a great stay!

At this KOA for 11 years and must admit that it offers everything that we are looking for. The staff are friendly and provide part of the great environment. The recent change in ownership has provided changes and continue to do so. The park infrastructure is obviously old and hopefully the promised electrical upgrades and other promised changes will happen and communication to guest occurs. Thanks

Wonderful time, plenty of things to do. The washers and dryers had many not working and they all required quarters. They were not the newer version by using the credit card and Wi-Fi. . many of the things were older, but they were repairing them as necessary. We will be back again next year.

Great place with plenty of different things to do. You should never be board here. The staff and fellow campers are very friendly.
