Join us for a patriotic Memorial Day weekend! The weekend kicks off Friday night with Candy Bar Bingo. Saturday is jam-packed with Tie-Dyeing, a Bake Sale, a BBQ luncheon, Live Music poolside, an Ice Cream Social and a Drive-In Movie. Sunday continues the fun with a holiday Bike Decorating Contest, followed by Live Music poolside, a Corn Roast, a Cornhole Tournament and a Bike Parade through the park to show off those tie-dye shirts and cool decorated bikes. Make sure to bring your sparklers! On Monday, take advantage of the late check-out with a pancake breakfast and lounge by one of our three pools all afternoon. We are looking forward to starting the summer season with you!
Join us by the pool for a totally tubular Decades Dance and Splash Party with music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s! Show us your raddest Moonwalk, Electric Slide, Cabbage Patch and Floss as you enjoy some throwback tunes with, like, a different decade celebrated, like, every hour. There will be fun themed crafts and activities, cool retro candy and snacks and maybe even a costume contest. We will also be showing a blast from the past movie so this weekend will be all that and a bag of chips!
Happy Ocho de Junio! May was jam-packed so we are having our Mexican Fiesta party in June! Come get decked out in a sombrero, shake some maracas, or take a few swings at the pinata. There will be a DIY taco bar, fun themed crafts and activities and a special showing of the animated movie Coco. Viva la fiesta!

It's a Glow in the Dark party! Wear your most neon-bright colored clothes and we will have fun with black light reactive paint, glowsticks and more.

The 7th annual Cocoa Beach Pirate Fest will feature Arts & Crafts and Pirate Themed Vendors, Great Foods & Beverages, a Living History Pirate Encampment, Pirate Ships, Live Music & Entertainment, Interactive Treasure Hunts and activities for the kids, and an Adults Only Pirate's Ball on Friday night.
Step outside around 11:00 pm and watch the next SpaceX rocket launch from the Kennedy Space Center. The Falcon Heavy will be carrying the STP-2 mission. Provided the weather is favorable, this night launch should be spectacular.
The Kennedy Space Center will be hosting numerous events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Space program and man's first steps on the lunar surface. There will be a Golf Tournament, Pub Crawl, Astronaut Parade, Outdoor Concert featuring Alan Parsons, and many discussion panels on a wide variety of topics including Women in Space and the Future of Spaceflight. You can also tour the newly revamped Apollo display at the Space Center Visitor Complex.
The 29th Annual Caladium Festival in Lake Placid, FL, will have caladium bulbs and plants for sale as well as many other varieties of native landscaping plants. The event features a 5K run, a car and bike show, arts and crafts booths, food vendors and entertainment. The festival also offers bus tours of the large caladium growing fields that have been compared to the tulip fields in Holland for their beauty during the summer months. Many visitors have stated that the drive by the fields is worth the trip to Lake Placid. The patchwork of color of over 40 varieties of red, white, and pink, and all combinations of the colors is truly a handiwork of art.
The Lake Wales Museum will host the 44th Annual Pioneer Days Festival on Saturday & Sunday, October 26 & 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. This event is a heritage celebration for the whole family with free admission and parking on both days with live entertainment, historical demonstrations, heritage art & craft vendors, festival food, family activities and more.
The 39th Annual Florida Air Show is a three-day event filled with aerobatic aircraft flying, formation flying, the SOCOM Para Jump Team, GEICO's Sky Typers, a race between a plane and a jet truck and a special performance by the USAF Thunderbirds. Friday is an evening show with aircraft displays, performances and a finale fireworks show. Saturday and Sunday there is a full aircraft performance schedule and both days the public can get an up close look at some of these fascinating flying machines.
