Meet Your Hosts

Tammy Hollander

“We want everyone who walks through our door to feel special and welcome. There are guests returning year after year and the fact that they consider us their home away from home is something we don't take for granted.”

Tammy and her husband Marc feel as though they were destined to become part of the KOA family.  Years before making the career move to KOA they were very much involved with KOA Care Camps.  Tammy and Marc started a non-profit in 2007 while living in Iowa and became involved with Care Camps through their connection with Howard Livingston.  In 2010 they moved to the Florida Keys and their fundraiser for Care Camps increased even more.  After the Castaways annual member outings, funds left after expenses were donated to Care Camps.  The amounts grew each year and the Castaways, along with Howard Livingston, have now donated more than $800,000 to Care Camps! Tammy and Marc come from strong customer service backgrounds and feel that is the strongest asset they bring to managing Okeechobee KOA Resort.  When not working, Tammy and Marc enjoy hanging out at nearby beaches, finding fun beach bars, enjoying live music, and spending time with their two rescue pups Monkey and Lexie.

Oh My, There's Nothing Here!

That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA.com Account.
