The location is very well maintained. Nice dog runs, clean campsites, maintained roadway, and easily identified sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is easily accessible.

Nice KOA, clean bathrooms and clean campground overall. I did a late check in, and my info packet had clear instructions on where to go and codes for the bathroom. Only downside is the KOA butts right up against the highway that is undergoing construction (Sept 2026) and is one lane-so all night trucks were hitting the lane departure rumble strips on the side of the road.

This is the cleanest campground I have ever been to. These women make you feel as if you’re in your own home! They are friendly, helpful, and care about their guests. There are no frills for activities, but this is a great base camp or overnight stop. Highly recommend it!!!

Basically a parking lot behind a ton of gas stations. I will give major props for the super clean bathrooms. For a one night stop, it's fine.

This is a great park if you want to spend one night while traveling, but it just cannot compare to other KOAs out there. It's almost all gravel with no trees or bushes for shade or privacy. Bathrooms are clean. It's directly behind travel plaza (road noise), We stayed there twice while passing through and it worked perfect for that but I wouldn't want to "camp" here a few days.

Perfect campsite with all of the amenities we needed! Our fire log starter was wet, and we didn’t find out until we got there. It was nice to have a microwave to cook our food in.

Our stay was very convenient as this location was right off the interstate. Some of the ambient lights surrounding the campground made it challenging to stay asleep, and there is no tree cover so be ready to wake up with the sun! The bathrooms were clean but small. Overall, if you need a place to stay on your way out west, this location can be a nice stopping point.

Everything was clean and available. I stayed in a tent, and the camp site was perfect. My only complaint was that the interstate was close and the traffic kept me up. I am a light sleeper and carry ear plugs with me. After putting in my ear plugs I slept like a baby. If I come through Ogallala again I will be staying here.

A very clean koa. We appreciated the attention of the young lady checking us in, she was very polite. We also felt that our presence mattered. It would be nice to be shaded from all the lights from the truck stops!

We stayed here for one night each going and returning from RMNP. We were arriving after 5:00, so we were given clear & friendly instructions by phone and email for late arrival and had no problems. This campground is very clean as are the bath/shower rooms.

Clean bathrooms, great pet relief areas, friendly hosts, lovely patios, the items in store were kindly priced and the laundry rocked! We stayed here twice in 8 days, it was perfect for our needs. Thank you!!

Stayed here a few years ago. It still has extremely clean restrooms and the grounds are very tidy. A bit close to the freeway but worth the stay!

We have been coming here twice a year since the Spring of 2024.. This KOA is the best one we have encountered in our travels all over the United States. The owners are always nice when we get there to the minute we depart. The sites are kept very clean, the Bathrooms and both the dog parks. We'll be back next Spring and know they never disappoint us.
