My son, dog and I stayed with you guys. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Was able to take a shower do a load of laundry, play on the playground, play with our dog in the dog area. It was great

I know I am supposed to rate everything the highest rating, but that is not attainable by every KOA. This was my first time at I-80 KOA. The KOA was very well kept, small, comfortable and clean. Perfect for me. However, the Interstate noise at the KOA is very loud. I can't recommend it for everyone. I have a loud fan/heater that drowns that all out so it was great for me. I will stay again.

Wonderful staff kind and friendly like family! Bathroom were spectacular, great warm shower. Camp site was perfect, we tent camp stop on accommodations.We will come back again

Immaculate bathroom, and who doesn't want that after a long day of driving? Exceptionally friendly staff, and lovely grounds. Even though it's right next to the 80, and there's the expected highway noise, I would absolutely stay here again.

This KOA is a great stop off along I80. It is very close to the highway and a few truck plazas which can be noisy. However, hosts had great pre-communication via text and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Felt safe and had a great stay. I recommend preparing for noise and lights according to what works best for you (i.e. sound cancelling earbuds, eye mask, etc.). I would stay again!

The staff were very friendly at check in and setup. They also took the time prior to arriving to provide details and directions. Everything was very clean and appreciated the dog parks. Will visit again when passing through.

First KOA campground that I went to and the campsites were clean. Everything was very tidy. The owners were friendly. The fire pits were well maintained.

Very nice and friendly staff. Campground is very clean and maintained. Bathrooms and showers exceptionally nice. Would recommend to anyone to stay.

This is a great spot to stop for the night. Definitely not a long term location. Understand that the traffic noise level is very high. But it's a great pitstop and the little "corral" with available BBQ and tables is great! Bathrooms are super clean and well maintained. I would definitely stop again!

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. The grounds were well kept. Everything look pretty good. The one negative is the highway noise and the lights from neon signs. If I would’ve thought that through before it got dark, I could’ve repositioned our vehicle to not be affected by lights. That is my bad. If I could’ve given it a 4.5 out of five I would’ve.

This park is clean and well kept. Our tent site was very nice, and level . At a couple of other tent sites we stayed and on our trip it was impossible to find a flat spot in the whole campground. Very nice park

two different women let their dogs go potty on the tent sites. How would they like to pitch their tent where their dogs defacated. The koa had a fenced area where dogs could do their business. These campers were just inconsderate of others.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do ask people to NOT let their dogs potty on the tent sites and we do have 2-Kamp K9's for dogs to use AS WELL AS 2 acres of grass to the EAST of our last row of sites.

The host led us to the spot and helped direct us in backing in our RV. Bathrooms were immaculate, the best camp bathrooms I've stayed in as far as cleanliness. Really nice stay on our way to Denver!

Very pleasant, informative and organized staff. We were tent camping overnight with some storms coming through and the communication through text helped us feel safer with plans in place. Simple but clean and safe!!!!

Hosts were very kind, even offered to let us pick out our camp site if we saw one we wanted more. Facilities were very clean and stocked. The ONLY draw back is the traffic that's fairly close, the lights from another parking lot a ways away shine pretty bright at night. But that's the only negative, everything else was very nice.

I enjoyed my visit; some late tent campers were not warned about the expected winds and lost their gear, at least one was set up before office closed for evening, perhaps that could be something mentioined; a single father with 2 boys and a single mother with 2 daughters were in their respective wash rooms; of the tent campers around me only I seemed to be aware of and prepared for the winds

I am sorry to hear of this. We always let all campers know if the National Weather issues a watch or warning. The night you stayed I know a message was sent to all guests. I am so sorry you were the only one prepared. We advise all campers if bad weather is approaching to download a weather app.

Very friendly and informative. Clean, tidy, organized location. Highway was very noisy, but is to be expected for the convenience of getting back on the highway next day. Would recommend this location.

This was my first experience with staying at a KOA. The roadways and parking area is gravel and not great for motorcycles. The team was very helpful to assist me with parking my motorcycle. The facilities were very clean and the pride this team takes at this KOA shines thru. The showers had shelves and chairs allowing to keep items off the floor and dry. Well done!!!

We stayed at this KOA on Apr 14 2024 it was a beautiful campground the people were super nice they had the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen....everything around was neat and tidy, we would definitely recommend it.

Staying for 2 nights, nice clean RV sites, very helpful in getting us to our location, nice play area for the 7 year old, nice dog pen with artificial turf which was very clean. I would highly recommend this campground. (Yes, you hear the interstate, but if anyone complains about the traffic noise, research the different types of KOAs. Journey means close to freeways.)

Super clean, dog run, playground, very friendly and helpful staff. Newer section has no landscaping (trees or plants). Picnic bench at each site. Stayed here two nights and the noise from the interstate is almost unbearable, 24/7. Had to wear earplugs to sleep and can't have a normal conversation outside at all. If that doesn't bother you, great place to stay! Visited the petrified wood museum and art gallery which was great! Also drive out to the lake and was very scenic. “Mansion on the Hill” is only open Memorial Day to Labor Day so I missed out, being October.
