Quick overnight passing through. One of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at! Paw Pen site was great as was Camp K9 park. Clean, tidy park. Great people at check in and was certainly a pleasure to stay here. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Ogallala. The owners are friendly and helpful. The park is immaculate. The showers and bathrooms are immaculate. The laundry area is reasonably priced and immaculate. We are very impressed with this KoA and we would definitely stay here again!

This KOA was the most clean and pristine camping site ever! Fantastic facilities and I would definitely recommend to family and friends! Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Such wonderful people and a wonderful stay! Very well-kept grounds and a very nice patio for our camper (high quality patio furniture and fire pit included) all in a very convenient location as well. Our kids really enjoyed the playground area, and it was a real pet friendly location. This is our second stay at this site, and we'll be sure to stop in again as we travel across the Midwest!

Too close to the I-80, lots of truck noise and jake-breaking. Gravel lot didn't provide for a level stay. Expensive like all KOA's

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Ogallala I80 KOA is located along the busy I80 you will have noise. If you want away from the interstate Tri Trails KOA in Ogallala is just down the road and away from the interstate. Our sites have been professionally grated with 1/4 inch slope from back to front.

Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The facilities are immaculate inside and out. Grounds are comfortable and well laid out. Great selection of magnets, so we caught up. Great suggestions of things to do also. Visited the Tri-Trails site and Boot Hill (the real deal) before heading out. Highly recommend the Ogallala/I-80 KOA! Chip & Lyd, Reno

My son, dog and I stayed with you guys. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Was able to take a shower do a load of laundry, play on the playground, play with our dog in the dog area. It was great

They were very helpful with making sure we had the correct directions there. Sent out text checking arrival time. Recommended a restaurant that delivers right to your site. Our site was easy pull in and out of. We will definitely stay there again.

The staff was very accommodating & nice. The communication was awesome. The only feedback is to maybe have a bathroom that doesn’t require a code for the developmental disabled. My brother has a had time putting the code in & remembering the combination.

Absolutely perfect! We accidentally left a piece for our trailer set up, went back to get it, lady had it and was going to call me. Very clean, very nice people. If in the area, would stay again.

The park is well kept and appealing and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The manager stopped by after office hours to explain protecting the water line fron freezing overnight.

We were warmly greeted and provided with information about the campground. We were personally escorted to our campsite and my husband very much enjoyed his conversation with our host. The office and campground were about the cleanest we’ve experienced. Super convenient location right off I-80. Restaurants, gas and shopping all conveniently located to the campground. This isn’t the biggest or fanciest campground we have ever stayed in, but I can not remember a better kept campground. It was spotless and well kept everywhere. You can tell the owners take great pride in their business. They back that up with friendly, efficient service. This is a perfect stop over campground.

I know I am supposed to rate everything the highest rating, but that is not attainable by every KOA. This was my first time at I-80 KOA. The KOA was very well kept, small, comfortable and clean. Perfect for me. However, the Interstate noise at the KOA is very loud. I can't recommend it for everyone. I have a loud fan/heater that drowns that all out so it was great for me. I will stay again.

Great campground. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. The campground is in excellent shape. It is very convenient to the interstate with several restaurants nearby. Seems to be a great location. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Nice clean and neat camp ground. Close to fuel,food, Walmart etc..Only negative is that it's right next to I-80 and highway noise, but it is a Journey after all. Great for a stop while traveling.

Access to the park was great. The park has a great Western cowboy vibe. New gravel was laid throughout most of the park and some areas was "soft" but manageable. The road noise from I-80 is intense due to the proximity of the park to a major on-ramp. A noise deadening wall would reduce the noise considerably.

Wonderful staff kind and friendly like family! Bathroom were spectacular, great warm shower. Camp site was perfect, we tent camp stop on accommodations.We will come back again

We stayed at this KOA on Apr 14 2024 it was a beautiful campground the people were super nice they had the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen....everything around was neat and tidy, we would definitely recommend it.

Staying for 2 nights, nice clean RV sites, very helpful in getting us to our location, nice play area for the 7 year old, nice dog pen with artificial turf which was very clean. I would highly recommend this campground. (Yes, you hear the interstate, but if anyone complains about the traffic noise, research the different types of KOAs. Journey means close to freeways.)
