Great overnight stop! Long pull-throughs are easy to navigate. It is right next to the interstate so there is some road noise. The price you pay for convenience.

One of the nicer KOA’s we have stayed in. A bit noisy. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The truckers run 24/7 on I-80.

Excellent stay! Clean and organized. Close to the highway makes it convenient for a one nighter, but we could have stayed longer!

We arrived at 8:30 PM office was closed but registration instruction were very clear, and as I was registering the manager popped in to make sure everything was ok. Great staff nice park.

The campground was nice and clean. Our site was nice. We had trouble getting our motorhome level and broke our plastic lift. We had to drive around the campground to pull in again to use a new plastic lift. When we went to the office to collect our site information the owner greeted us with an accusation that we ran over the patio and possibly cracked it. It was not a nice way to be greeted.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Concrete patios can crack under the heavy weight of an RV, so our team must look out for potential damage when a guest says the patio is cracked and went in the wrong way. We clearly could have handled this conversation with much more care and empathy. We apologize. Please accept our apology!

Everything was fine and the staff was great. Only downside is very loud noise coming from the nearby highway. Not unusual for a campground conveniently located.

The campground was very clean and the staff was friendly. The sites were big. Easy on and off I-80 even with the construction on I-80.

I would stay here again. Check-in was a breeze. Thomas was very helpful. (Side note: We need more Thomas in the world) Yes it is right off the fwy, but for those of us who just need a nice clean place to stay for the night, it was fine. We only heard loud motorcycles or trucks. (This is something beyond their control) WalMart, gas station & Runza is less than 5 minutes away. 45' 5th Wheel

The “weekend” staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Immediately came out to greet us and asked about our journey. Quick check in and escort to site. The campground is spotless and has nice landscape between sites. Restrooms were spotless too! Great easy access off I-80.

It was a very clean well maintained facility. It’s close to the interstate so it’s easy on and easy off. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We appreciated Thomas leading us to our campsite and being greeted by Ashley. The Campground is very well maintained and is an easy stop off of I 80 we will return on our way back East.

This is place is very well kept up. The site we had was large and just what we needed. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and up to date. The young couple I met on the weekend were very friendly and went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of.

Great stay at the Ogallala/I-80 KOA Journey! Friendly staff, level gravel sites, and clean patios with fire pits and dog areas. Bathrooms were spotless, and the amenities were excellent. Being close to I-80 means a little highway noise, but it wasn't a big issue. Convenient, clean, and well-maintained. We'd definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

We stayed for one overnight in one of their patio sites. Nice landscaping and level. Super nice staff always willing to help. Clean facilities. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice campground. Very clean well maintained courteous helpful staff. Pulled in and parked. Level site. Modern CLEAN CLEAN sparkling restrooms/showers/laundry. Convenient in/out access to I80 and Ogallala. Will stay here again on my annual journeys west. Highly recommended

Clean bathrooms, great pet relief areas, friendly hosts, lovely patios, the items in store were kindly priced and the laundry rocked! We stayed here twice in 8 days, it was perfect for our needs. Thank you!!

Stayed here a few years ago. It still has extremely clean restrooms and the grounds are very tidy. A bit close to the freeway but worth the stay!

We have been coming here twice a year since the Spring of 2024.. This KOA is the best one we have encountered in our travels all over the United States. The owners are always nice when we get there to the minute we depart. The sites are kept very clean, the Bathrooms and both the dog parks. We'll be back next Spring and know they never disappoint us.
