We had a wonderful time staying for a weekend at this KOA. This location saved us when we got stuck in rain & traffic and our original site refused to let us check in after 9pm. Very friendly staff and the tent site we had was spacious and level. Great experience!

The staff at the office was great and we loved that they brought the wood to our site. However we would not recommend to anyone that they stay at this KOA, because it is very crowded and our neighbors made it impossible to sleep. In fact we left at 1am because our 8 year old was unable to sleep.

Tent sites were really close to the “party” cabins. Disappointed that quiet hours were not observed. One of the busier KOAs I’ve stayed at. Summer camp vibe, much louder and more active than other locations with kids and teens up late.

I have to say that we would not stay there again. For a KOA, we expected more. The showers for example are disgusting. The basin was dirty, looked like it had been months since it was cleaned. The shower curtain has mold growing on it. The tent sites are too close together. The prices are not on the food in the refrigeration unit. $6.00 resort fee? Thanks but no thanks.

This place is quiet and enjoyable. An RV’r should enjoy it. If tenting keep in mind that not only did the bath houses need to be replaced years ago, there was also marginal functionality. Do not let the bath houses keep you away, but be prepared for them to be pathetic.

Camp site 4 was a bad site there was no entrance for your vehicle you share an entrance with the two beside you and if they park there you’re stuck at that site. Place needs a good makeover

Our tent site was nice, the bathrooms were very very dirty, the pool was clean, some activities were out of order, after hours quiet time was not adhered to - camp was very loud (music, yelling, etc.) at all hours of the night.

Average campsite. Pros: Staff was very helpful and nice Store hours were very good and had all supplies needed Cons: No enforcement of quiet hours Only one bathroom. One of the two stalls in the Men's room was out of order the entire time there and the operating toilet was hardly functioning. Mosquitos were horrible. Tent sites are too small and quiet hours (aft 10pm) is ignored, so it was so noisy and we could not sleep. Customer service/patrol responds to calls but seems nothing was done. Site next to us had dozen+ ppl and a bonfire until 11pm when I asked them to pack it in. You hear cars, music, people, from far until midnight. I prefer campgrounds where we can enjoy the peace at least late in the evening.

Overall the campsite was well maintained and had great amenities. It’s very kid friendly, the staff is very sweet and helpful. However during our stay we had a band that played until 10pm! Also the activity center rents out this buggies and kids zoom up and down the road with them. It’s very loud and just wasn’t relaxing and peaceful at all.

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
