I’ve been to several koas, by far my favorite, the only “issue” is the showers. Definitely need more, better cleanings, and or renovation. Other than that, no complaints :)

This stay was very disappointing. I have no problem with the fact that it was cold and raining as the weather is not predictable but the fact that all activities were canceled and even the arcade was closed made for a long miserable day for the grandkids

Best campground. Wonderful accommodating staff, clean, security, great amenities and all woodsy and plenty of space. My grandson loves it and loves it and we can’t wait to return in the Spring!

For the prices charged, the cabin beds are terribly hard and it was not cleaned before arrival. The table was tilted and there should at minimum be a coffee pot provided. There needs to be activities for teens, not just young kids. Adults without children should be exempt from the ridiculous daily “resort” fees. The outrageous prices should automatically cover activities. Not a satisfied campe

I used to LOVE this campground. However, post-COVID, I have been throughly unimpressed. They have been spending to improve facilities, but due to short staff, the activities that my kids loved are no longer available. We go for Halloween weekends specifically for the spooky house/trail, and they didn't have it ready this year. Also, the jumping pillow was not open for 90% of our stay.

Staff & other campers were very friendly & helpful. Site was lovely & the cabin was clean & warm. We had a great time & would definitely come back!

We stayed in a cabin to join a relative who has a camping vehicle, and even though it rained our whole weekend we were still able to enjoy our visit. We still had a chance to walk the camp roads in the woods when the rain let up, and we appreciated that there was a covered pavillion where activities could still take place. I like visiting family where the young folks have activities.

The Deluxe Cabins were ok but could have been cleaned better and the hot water never truly worked in the shower or sink. The fire pit is too close to the patio that you can’t really gather around it. The Amenities charge has gone up but the haunted house wasn’t there and the morning pancakes were missed too!

Thank you so much for a great weekend! Even though there was some rain we still had a wonderful time. All of the staff in the store, the wood delivery crew and the activity manager created a really special Halloween weekend for our family. See you soon!

Had to wipe down cabin table was sticky and under beds were needed . Wiped down the beds as well . Ordered wood which it wouldn’t burn , tried wood started that I bought and lighter fluid . The wood just wouldn’t burn really weird and I kept the wood inside cabin so it wasn’t damp or wet . Also activity shed was locked . We made the best of it . Staff at check in was awesome !!!

We stayed in deluxe cabin k106. Lovely!! Enjoyed our view of the pond and watching the kids on the playground. Only downside was getting hot water to the shower. Had to have maintenance come by to show us the "secret" to hot water. All in all a very positive stay. Thx you.

We like to stay at the KOA deluxe cabins on our travels. We had multiple problems with the hot water and TV's that were addressed but never fixed. The people were very nice but we would not stay at this KOA again.

4.25. never stayed at K.O.A. before. got basic cabin, then realized had to get bunch of supplies. never had my own house with property before, so that was neat. friendly people, knoledgeable & easygoing staff, lots of property to roam, activities to do was nice. some zones a bit unkempt, & paid bit more then i wanted to, but that's okay. arcade outdated, but spent lots of $ on big buck hunter pro

Very disappointed in our cabin. Toilet ran continuously. The bathroom door was off track, couldn't pull it shut with out a horrible noise. Could not sleep on the bed and if I did dose the bathroom door noise immediately woke me when my husband needed the bathroom. Also NO hot water. Cabin next door wasn;t occupied but light on and air conditioner ran. Too expensive! This KOA not maintained well

We showed up at the campground about 10 minutes before a severe thunderstorm hit and took out all of the power and Wi-Fi. The entire team was so friendly and so accommodating! They all provided an amazing experience, with smiles and upbeat attitudes! I loved all of the craft offerings that Carol provided, and loved how much this campground felt like home, even though it was our first time!

I live staying at Newburgh/ NYC KOA Holiday. The staff is very professional and accommodating. The facilities are cleaned many times during the day. The amenities keep my grandson active and engaged. We can’t wait to return!

All of the employees were super helpful and kind! I do want to mention you have a security guard who was working the night shift on the night of 9/4, and he was verbally assaulted and treated poorly by some drunk campers. I was impressed he kept his composure and resolved the issue. That man deserves a raise!

We really enjoyed our stay at Newburgh KOA. The bike rentals were fun, there were enough activities to keep the kids busy and the pool was a hit. We also enjoyed the pancake breakfasts. It's a lovely location. The bathroom doors can use fixing, and the dog park can be a bit bigger, but for the most part, it was a great experience.

I would rate this place all high scores, the only downfall was the bathrooms. It is a huge campground. Fun activities, nice and woodsie sites, nice surround area. BUT they only had 2 small bathrooms with about 4 stalls. With the amount of people staying there it was always messy. Not to mention if your site is far away from the bathroom it makes for a long scary walk to a dirty bathroom.

I had a very bad experience during my stay. There were bugs in my cabin that bit me, my husband, my 11-eleven-year-old nephew, and my sister that have created wounds in our legs and itch non-stop. Couldn't enjoy the stay or relax, which was the purpose of our trip. After notifying the staff, someone came in and just wiped one mattress and nothing was disinfected. Every night it got worse.

Overall we had a pleasant stay but you can tell there is a staffing shortage. No one picked up our garbage outside our cabin for over two days. Shower pressure in cabin was very poor. Not many camping activities for kids. No lifeguards at pool. We have been coming to KOA for over 10 years but are probably going to Jellystone more frequently. Very sad about it.

Camp sites are super close together. Website says 1 car per site but it's not regulated whatsoever. Huge party across from us with cars rolling in with 8-10 people piled inside each one and double parking as well as parking in other people's sites. Staff says there's nothing they can do about it. Public bathrooms are sparse with only 3 toilets in the women's room. Not much of a camping experience

This is my second time staying at Newburg KOA, cabin was amazing and love the staff especially the texting service. I’m so happy I stayed here to work on completing the fire tower challenge in the Catskills. Less driving and having a comfortable place to stay that affordable is right up my alley. This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
