Roads too tight for a 42’ motorhome with car in tow.

There was a lot of trash along the park roads and some of it had obviously been there for a while. LOTS of goose poop along pet walk areas. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the after hours staff who helped with an electrical issue.

Large wooded sites for big rigs. All of the sites are wooded. Very helpful employees and very friendly.

We loved the very private, wooded sites. We had a wasp nest in our pedestal, and my husband was stung when hooking up the electric. Maintenance responded quickly and sprayed the wasps and nest. The a/c in the laundry room was not operational. This would probably have not been an issue, had it not been 90+ degrees. Even though we had a few problems, customer service was very responsive.

Another great stay here! Staff is wonderful (thanks Tiffany)! Sites are a little tricky to back into but lots of shade and space between sites! Overall clean , safe and well maintained. We will be back next season!

This was our first time staying at Newburgh KOA. We had a wonderful time. Grounds and public facilities were kept neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and the organized activities were great for the kids. Highly recommend. We will be visiting again.

We have stayed at this park several times and always had a great experience. We learned that the park is under new management and were surprised / disappointed to hear that several activities had been discontinued (bingo, paint & sip, etc.). Water pressure was also an issue each morning. We will try the park again, next year, however, if this trend continues, we will most likely camp elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay at Newburgh KOA. The bike rentals were fun, there were enough activities to keep the kids busy and the pool was a hit. We also enjoyed the pancake breakfasts. It's a lovely location. The bathroom doors can use fixing, and the dog park can be a bit bigger, but for the most part, it was a great experience.

It was such a great time , we went for labor day and it was great a live band , dj by the pool even movie night . We had a blast !!

I would rate this place all high scores, the only downfall was the bathrooms. It is a huge campground. Fun activities, nice and woodsie sites, nice surround area. BUT they only had 2 small bathrooms with about 4 stalls. With the amount of people staying there it was always messy. Not to mention if your site is far away from the bathroom it makes for a long scary walk to a dirty bathroom.

first time in eastern NY with the RV. Wondered where we were going off I-84, but the directions were spot on and the CG was surprisingly fantastic!

Excellent campground. I hate amenity fees. Give the customer the option if he wants to use your amenities. Band should have ended by 9PM, in my humble opinion. The Burrells from Bogart Georgia GOOO DAWGS ���� ����������

The staff is outstanding, and the park is VERY well maintained. However, Spaces are tight for Big Rigs with TOADS (40 Ft Diesel Pusher, towing a Jeep) We were able to make it in and out by using a pull-thru site but it was at the absolute limit of our turning radius. For full-time RVers, $80.00 is a little much for a one-night stay.

Our site was tight and it looked like a parking lot. Never had been to a kOA with sites like that not even for tents! We asked if we could have another site and we’re told flat out no they were full. Sites are signed on a first come basis unless you pay he additional $10 for a specific site, however, we arrived around 2 pm with plenty of sites still available. Dog park tiny.

Nice staff. True camping experience, pool was clean and spacious. Wi-Fi was surprisingly good! Which was a relief since our Starlink couldn't get past the trees. I was a little disappointed that one laundry room was closed and the other one, further away, had two machines out of order.

we booked our stay for June, July, and August, coming up on weekends. Sites are always clean, employees very friendly and helpful, delivering wood as needed. also made some nice friends who walk by to chat.

Fantastic KOA, with well sized sites in the woods. Checked in right before closing and the staff was friendly and helpful. Site was well maintained. Very happy to have a smooth and easy stay at the end of a 2 week road trip. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Bathrooms could use an update, but were definitely serviceable .

I had a very bad experience during my stay. There were bugs in my cabin that bit me, my husband, my 11-eleven-year-old nephew, and my sister that have created wounds in our legs and itch non-stop. Couldn't enjoy the stay or relax, which was the purpose of our trip. After notifying the staff, someone came in and just wiped one mattress and nothing was disinfected. Every night it got worse.

STAY ELSEWHERE! PRO: Nice people but understaffed & shop. Lots for kids to do. CONS: Infrastructure maintenance is non-existent. 1. VERY UNEVEN SITE. Jack lifted all tires off the ground 9" on one side and 6" on the other. 2. Only 5 washes (3 working) for whole park. 3. MOSQUITO NIRVANA!! 4. Disgusting pond where they breed. 5. Sites/roads need trimming!!

Very nice campground however The sites really need to be a bit more level. We hade to jockey around to get situated and still tires were off ground. Nearly all tires at all sites were off ground.

I was pretty disappointed with my stay at first. The people checking us in seemed frustrated I guess from the amount of people checking in. It was very unwelcoming. The bathrooms were also constantly disgusting and/or low or no toilet paper available. Quiet hours also seemed nonexistent on Saturday. I’ve camped in a lot of places and this was my first KAO experience and I was pretty disappointed

A surprise location! Woodsy, spacious, older bathrooms but clean. Staff helpful and courteous. Did not use but looked like nice pool and playground. Campstore big and unique. Loved the drive into the campground. Off highway into the wilderness. Will be back.

Overall we had a pleasant stay but you can tell there is a staffing shortage. No one picked up our garbage outside our cabin for over two days. Shower pressure in cabin was very poor. Not many camping activities for kids. No lifeguards at pool. We have been coming to KOA for over 10 years but are probably going to Jellystone more frequently. Very sad about it.

Camp sites are super close together. Website says 1 car per site but it's not regulated whatsoever. Huge party across from us with cars rolling in with 8-10 people piled inside each one and double parking as well as parking in other people's sites. Staff says there's nothing they can do about it. Public bathrooms are sparse with only 3 toilets in the women's room. Not much of a camping experience

I love coming back but this time around was a little different. People were loud until 2 am I believe someone should be driving around and checking every hour and telling people to quiet down. And we missed having Mrs. Carol for the activity she really is an asset and does all your activities amazing

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
