Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We been to a few other KOA but this one is our favorite.

We stay at the NYC North / Newburgh KOA multiple times each year. Every visit has been a pleasure. Staff is friendly and accomodating, the facilites are well maintained and there are plentiful activities for young and old alike.

Great campground for kids and adults. Close to Gunk house restaurant for good German food. Biking across the Hudson was fun too.

We are local & last year 2022, we stayed here during the summer. This year we came back & the ice cream/snack shop were gone which we were very disappointed about. This was one thing we loved. We did enjoy our stay & came back for the Halloween weekend which turned out great. The overall atmosphere is different this year. No one is policing teen driving golf cart or speeding.

For the prices charged, the cabin beds are terribly hard and it was not cleaned before arrival. The table was tilted and there should at minimum be a coffee pot provided. There needs to be activities for teens, not just young kids. Adults without children should be exempt from the ridiculous daily “resort” fees. The outrageous prices should automatically cover activities. Not a satisfied campe

Spent 1 night but did go for a short ride and took a walk through the Mohonk Reserve in New Paltz.

I used to LOVE this campground. However, post-COVID, I have been throughly unimpressed. They have been spending to improve facilities, but due to short staff, the activities that my kids loved are no longer available. We go for Halloween weekends specifically for the spooky house/trail, and they didn't have it ready this year. Also, the jumping pillow was not open for 90% of our stay.

Very relaxing and staff works very hard to make everyone happy. We liked it so well on our way to Maine that we booked it again on the return trip

I had an unexpected trip to KOA. What was very helpful was the help from one of the woman in booking. She said she plans for some of these situations so they had a spot available. Overall , ok. 4 stars because of the help. There was some type of sewer problem. They had a dog park but it smelled like sewer. Sewer smell would wafted throughout the campground. We called it the doodo park.

At first we were disappointed that no pull-thru sites were available for our stay. However, when we got to our lovely, large back-in site among the fall foliage, we thought it was a great option! We will request this site in the future. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We'll certainly be back!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Narrow access roads and uneven sites. Speed limit of 5 MPH is not enforced, and makes for dangerous walking and unsafe for the small children playing.

Amazing sale in the campground store and WOW… campers in this part of the country really get into Halloween! It was so much fun to see the decorations and the trick or treaters in costume!

We stayed in a cabin to join a relative who has a camping vehicle, and even though it rained our whole weekend we were still able to enjoy our visit. We still had a chance to walk the camp roads in the woods when the rain let up, and we appreciated that there was a covered pavillion where activities could still take place. I like visiting family where the young folks have activities.

Everything was great except for Saturday nite which we were warned of at sign in, but noise went beyond 10 pm. Had to call security at 12:50AM to quiet down campers talking loud and playing music loud. Otherwise very friendly staff and loved our campsite location. Great location for restaurants and Poughkeepsie/rhinebeck activities.

Very woodsy, lots of amenities, fairly private, although some spaces are close to nearby houses and other sites. The bathrooms need a renovation. They are 30 years out of date, with worn, broken and dirty fixtures, only 1 working toilet in mens room.

Very quiet and peacefull campground. Staff was very helpful in assigning another site because someone was in the assigned site by mistake.

You need to reinforce the quiet hours, our neighbors were VERY NOISY UNTIL AFTER 1 am which greatly disturbed our sleep! We have been coming to this park for 28 years and it has gone steadily downhill.

Lost power at site the last night of stay destroyed two power cords from the faulty electric and a popcorn maker The breakers in the camper where all on as well as the panel supplied by the campground Turn all breakers on and off without any incident but still no power Notified campground to let them know about dangerous situation but they blamed us no breakers popped so it’s there equipment

We enjoyed our stay. The folks in the office were more than helpful. As we stayed off season, I can't comment on the many recreational activities available. My main issue is low water pressure at our full hookup site. We experienced this issue on a previous stay. Also, the whole area could use some spiffing up.

Friendly and helpful staff. The park seemed clean and well maintained from what we saw - we were only there one night. Unfortunately, we stayed in site 52, which reduced the overall experience. This is, by far, one of the tightest and most restricted sites we have experienced. Very difficult to get our camper in and out.

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
