We had so much fun this past weekend at Newburgh KOA! We enjoyed all the Easter activities and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to visiting again this season! Thank you!

We typically LOVE staying here as we are local to the area however each day I had to go home to take a shower due to no water pressure. Very frustrating to pay for a patio site and then have to leave each day just to take a shower!

Staff was friendly. There was plenty of things for the kids to do even with the pools closed. With no leaves on the trees privacy is not very good but once in bloom it could be very good.

Very nice KOA convenient to local attractions. Lots of amenities and well maintained. The only negative was that the water pressure was poor. Not sure if it was a seasonal issue as we were there in late March. Other than that, it was great!

Was organized neat and very quiet. Staff was incredibly friendly. Have stayed at other campgrounds up and down the east coast this one rates as top 5 .

I understand it’s March and the weather is unpredictable but it wasn’t great that the activities were canceled. Also on Sunday morning the water line froze. Thankfully I didn’t damage my own lines and understandable that it happens. But why were the bathrooms near my site closed? It won’t stop me from coming back but please take this a constructive criticism.

Great stay in the Hudson Valley. The park is in a great central location for historical sites, wineries, breweries and distilleries! Easy access to the park and easy pull through sites!

This was a last minute reservation and thankfully the campground was still open late and could accommodate us. When we are next in the area we will definitely plan on staying here again.

I’ve been to several koas, by far my favorite, the only “issue” is the showers. Definitely need more, better cleanings, and or renovation. Other than that, no complaints :)

Our second visit here. The layout of the sites is nice allowing privacy. The sites are level. Staff are friendly and helpful!

This stay was very disappointing. I have no problem with the fact that it was cold and raining as the weather is not predictable but the fact that all activities were canceled and even the arcade was closed made for a long miserable day for the grandkids

Last weekend of KOA opening. Concern was NO food, milk for coffe type items available. For a closing weekend well booked that is concerning. Otherwise,besides the rain OK

Best campground. Wonderful accommodating staff, clean, security, great amenities and all woodsy and plenty of space. My grandson loves it and loves it and we can’t wait to return in the Spring!

We stay at the NYC North / Newburgh KOA multiple times each year. Every visit has been a pleasure. Staff is friendly and accomodating, the facilites are well maintained and there are plentiful activities for young and old alike.

We are local & last year 2022, we stayed here during the summer. This year we came back & the ice cream/snack shop were gone which we were very disappointed about. This was one thing we loved. We did enjoy our stay & came back for the Halloween weekend which turned out great. The overall atmosphere is different this year. No one is policing teen driving golf cart or speeding.

For the prices charged, the cabin beds are terribly hard and it was not cleaned before arrival. The table was tilted and there should at minimum be a coffee pot provided. There needs to be activities for teens, not just young kids. Adults without children should be exempt from the ridiculous daily “resort” fees. The outrageous prices should automatically cover activities. Not a satisfied campe

I used to LOVE this campground. However, post-COVID, I have been throughly unimpressed. They have been spending to improve facilities, but due to short staff, the activities that my kids loved are no longer available. We go for Halloween weekends specifically for the spooky house/trail, and they didn't have it ready this year. Also, the jumping pillow was not open for 90% of our stay.

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
