We aren't April Foolin' you! Easter falls on April Fool's Day this year. We are celebrating with activities all day Saturday, including an Easter egg hunt outside (weather permitting), crafts, egg decorating and more. Don't forget to take pictures with the Easter Bunny or have family Easter pictures taken!
This weekend is dedicated to those special guys called "Dad". Reserve fast...Kids camp FREE!!
Challenge him to ping pong, basketball, mini golf or shuffleboard. Rent some banana bikes ($) and have a race! See who can catch the biggest fish in the pond. Make a special gift for Dad at craft time or tie-dye($) a shirt together. Pancake breakfast ($), Dads eat FREE in the Rec. Hall with family! Did we mention a Movie Night Friday?

20th Annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race
What's the Duck Race all about?
20,000 rubber ducks are dumped into the Pawcatuck River on the Westerly, Rhode Island and Pawcatuck, Connecticut border for race that benefits 40+ local charities. Children's games, rides, food booths, and other activities make this a wonderful family event! Event is free to attend. Sponsor a Speedy Ducky for $5.00! Try your luck at one of over 90 great prizes!
The event will take place in beautiful Wilcox Park in downtown Westerly, and will feature the fine selected works of professional artists and craft persons. Virtu will be held rain or shine and admission is free. Virtu will be a showcase for both the visual arts and performing arts.

Sailfest is New England's premiere street festival, located in the heart of New London. The three-day event boasts 50+ artists on 3 stages, hundreds of vendors and the fourth largest fireworks display on the east coast. The event draws 300,000+ people to New London's Historic Waterfront District for one explosive weekend.
The Annual South County Hot Air Balloon Festival is an ongoing gathering of community, BBQ, music, and of course lots of balloons. The event is held at the University of Rhode Island Athletic Fields in Kingston, Rhode Island each July, and features up to 14 hot air balloonists or aeronauts for three days of flying around Southern Rhode Island. The festival will be featuring airborne juggles, balloon rides, BBQ competition, fish pond, crafters and vendors, live music, food vendors, giant kite flying, hot air balloon demos, inflatable rides, kid's train rides, magic clowns, fire truck, rock wall climbing and more!
The event showcases high-quality antique vessels, including cruisers, sailboats, and runabouts. Approximately 50 classic vessels will create a colorful gathering along the museum's waterfront. The Rendezvous concludes Sunday at 11:45am (due to Amtrak railroad bridge schedule) with a parade of classic boats down the Mystic River. A party, "Docktails & Dancing," will be held Saturday from 7 to 10p.m. Drinks, desserts, and dancing to music by the band Sugar. $45 per person.
