It was great to see Dee and the crew again. We have been staying at peace valley for many years now. Seeing nice improvements being made to the grounds laundry room looks great and new equipment on the play ground. The name says it all. Peace valley. We will be back.

We arrived just prior to sunset and the manager had pre coordinated our welcome packet. We had a great tent spot overlooking a scenic creek. Bath house and showers were clean with good pressure and hot water. The manager was great (short haired lady with glasses) she checked in on us as she walked by to ensure we had everything we needed. It was a great experience.

Absolutely magical weekend at KOA! Dee, Lisa, Connie & Bill were amazing—especially Dee & Lisa (aka skinny arms) who rescued our chihuahua Rosie from a locked car with an old-school metal hanger. Spotless showers, peaceful vibes, and a bald eagle soaring over the river near our tent. Nature, kindness, and glamping bliss. We’ll be back!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restrooms are kept clean and maintained. We chose this location because it was close to our Andrews Valley Railroad adventure. Bonus is its location to a casino one mile away, and Cherokee a little drive over.

This was a great weekend for me and my family. We had a great time. The staff was great. They was very helpful and friendly and came around and checked on us often to make sure we had everything that we needed and to see if we was okay. The place was clean. The shower house was very clean also. They made us feel like we was home. I would recommend this place for everyone to visit. We’ll back soo

After hours trucks driving around and idling near our tent. Road noise. Maintenance noise. Not a relaxing place to stay. Tried calling corporate after hours number and still no one has replied. Host and staff were very pleasant though. Nice pool.

I reserved a specific site for specific date. I did so because of shade during the day. When I checked in I was given an alternative, had no choice to take it. Obviously the clan that was on my reserved site wanted to stay longer. I believe that if that is the case they should check out then go thru the reservation process themselves. They should have been given what was reserved by someone else.

Your site wasn’t locked at booking, so we moved you to a higher-tier Premium Deluxe tent site to better accommodate all guests. We do our best to meet everyone's needs, but unlocked sites may be reassigned as needed.

There was no electricity at the tent sites, the road to the tent sites was rather substandard, the bath house was a long walk from the tent site.

Dee and Lisa and Bill are just amazing people! They are kind and helpful, so welcoming. The campground is beautiful and clean. The campsites were level and very easy to get in and out of. The amenties are all working and very well taken care of. We booked 3 more stays. We loved our weekend. Thank you for everything.

The stay was pleasant but the wood I bought from you wouldn’t light on Friday (not dry enough) and it rained on Saturday so no campfire for me! Sad but fine. And now I can say I’ve experienced an earthquake! Will be back!

The staff were wonderful. Always a great attitude and strong work ethic even though they seem to always be fighting a losing battle with projects and aging facilities left unkept from the previous proprietor. There out of the box thinking and solutions for the growing list of upgrades and changes have been nothing less then impressive. I hope they one day getto see and enjoy the oasis they dreamed

I had a great stay! I loved my camping site, which was cleared of leaves for me before I arrived. It was right by the water. The bathrooms were clean. The place is very convenient but it is off the main road so there is lots of street noise but it’s offset by the mooing of neighboring cows and an early morning rooster. So peaceful. Not the cleanest KOA I’ve stayed at. If there was a more accessible trash can than the bathhouse, I didn’t locate it. Also, an area for charging devices would be nice for tent campers. I found one active outlet behind the change machine at the bathhouse while the ones in the laundry room were not operable.

Camp hosts were super friendly and helpful. This campground is smaller so even when full, it's fairly quiet. All facilities were clean. We would visit Peace Valley KOA again in the future.

Care taker was such a big help. She would do anything to make sure my stay went well. My tent site was clean and Wi-Fi was a great addition to camping. I did my laundry and washer and dryer worked great.

Friendly and courteous staff at check in and through out my stay! The camp site was clean and nice. Everything was very well maintained. I enjoyed the creek side tent site. Very relaxing and peaceful. I saw otters swimming and also several cows.

We planned to spend 2 nights in our camper while we prepped our land. Due to the work that was being done, we needed to stay a 3rd night. Spoke with Theresa and Matt who worked their magic to find a site for us. The hospitality at Murphy/Peace Valley is outstanding. We've never felt so welcomed at other campgrounds. We highly recommend Murphy/Peace Valley. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay! The campground is in an excellent location, close to all the attractions in Murphy and very easy to access from the highway. The grounds were quiet and well-maintained, with a clean pool, a fun game room for the kids, a beautiful river, and a huge dog park. It's a perfect spot for families, pet owners, and anyone looking to relax in Western North Carolina. Highly recommend!
