You can also float on your own into Murphy.
Also, throwing stuff in the river is bad.

We look forward to welcoming you to our peaceful riverfront retreat in SW North Carolina. After a career in the hospitality industry, Matt Walters is the owner of Murphy/Peace Valley KOA. Originally from Pennsylvania, Matt lived and worked in Southwest Florida for 11 years prior to arriving at Murphy/Peace Valley KOA. Matt sees the true beauty of the Park and looks forward to spending time getting to know each and every guest. The Campground provides an atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy the pristine surroundings. The Park opened in 1980 as Riverbend Campground then in 2004 became Peace Valley Campground. In 2009 the Park converted to Murphy/ Peace Valley KOA. You will see Matt both in the office and around the Campground working to assure a GREAT guest experience. In his off time Matt enjoys fishing anywhere he can and for trout in the Valley River.
As a KOA campground, Matt embraces the KOA family. “I constantly think about what I can do to make the accommodations, grounds, and services better so every Camper will enjoy their visit. My staff and I want to treat all guests the way we want to be treated.
We are pleased with how our new neighbor has helped the area. The Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino and UltraStar Entertainment Center is one mile away.”
