We love staying in smaller KOA campgrounds. We stayed in our 5th wheel along the river in site 38. Dee and the staff were very nice and went out of their way to help and make sure our stay was great. Improvements and upgrades are currently being made due to new ownership. We look forward to coming back soon. Thank you

We stayed there for three days and was able to get a spot in the river too with several other friends Dee worked her manic and was able to us grouped together . Great time for all and Fee was coming around asking if we needed any thing. Great manager We will be back

This is our 2nd time staying at this location. We loved it so much the first time, we knew we wanted to come back. The staff is so friendly and the grounds are kept so nice. We were told about the upgrades that will be happening and we are excited to be able to come back to see what is going to be done. We are already looking forward to the next trip. Thank you for everything!

The staff is amazing…willing to accommodate any requests. So friendly and welcoming, just a lot of fun people to associate with. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely place! Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier than planned due to a hurricane bearing down on our city in Florida. So we hope to be back soon! Wish we could recoup the money we lost! :-(

Nice stay. My only criticism is that our campsite had a bush planted right where one come out of trailer. Unnecessary and in the way.

Sites are well-designed and mostly level. The extra-large dog play area is excellent. The staff is super friendly. The campground was tranquil and had that "state park" feel. A couple of minor critiques - the signage out at the road is non-existent for anyone heading southbound. I would recommend doing an evening trash run. Real firepits would be a nice upgrade instead of old tire rims.

Dea and all the staff make a big effort to keep the park neat and tidy. Their hard work really shows and the pet friendliness is above and beyond. The location of the park is so convenient to many sites and events we like, plus there is little road noise from the highway. The new owner is serious about improving the park and so far so good. Lighting at the entrance and a sturdy sign is needed.

As always this is a lovely, well kept campground. We stumbled upon it last year and stay there every month, when possible. The pool sparkles. Sites are well tended. It now has new owners but with the same friendly and helpful atmosphere. Dee is still managing the campground and continues to be helpful and accommodating. There are some new updates happening which are exciting too. Love this place!

We had the privilege of staying at the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. This charming site is tucked in to the most tranquil of settings and is managed very well...(shout out to Dee, who was immediately so welcoming and readily available to answer any and all questions throughout our stay:) Our family will definitely be returning soon!! -Lisa M.

Campground was clean and well maintained. The campground was nice and peaceful. Some lots seemed a little narrow, but overall they level and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful (B and Lisa!). I will definitely be going back.

We enjoy staying at this KOA. Peaceful, as stated in the name. Dee was very helpful and informative. They are going to be making renovations and we are looking forward to our next stay.

You can really tell that this campground is kept up and is very clean. Can’t wait to see the updates that they are working on and have plans for. We will definitely come back again.

Dee, the overseer of the KOA in Murphy/Peace Valley was one of the most accommodating staff we have run into during our camping time. The sites were clean, and people were friendly. Dogs were a little too loud. Entrance was a little too sharp and could use a better entrance sign. Definitely will visit again.

Con: bathroom stalls not easily accessible for handicapped persons. Pro: It is our understanding that a major renovation is underway with new owners with plans to update to campground. Shout out: Dee was very helpful and always available to make our stay a wonderful experience. Our camping club will return again.

Staff nice and attentive. Many sites too close to each other. Cable was good at my site but wifi was pretty much non existent.

We always enjoy our stay here in Murphy, NC. It’s one our go to campgrounds. Enjoy the personnel and the grounds are well maintained. We will be back soon!

We stayed at Murphy/Peace KOA for 10,days over the 4th of July week. The campground was very clean and quiet. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Dee and her staff worked around the campground non-stop. We have been coming here for years and will definitely return again…. Don & Mary

Safe and clean KOA run by a very sweet family, Ethan was very helpful all weekend. We had a great time visiting the rail trail during the day and enjoying the pool and fire pit in the evening.

Great (quiet) campground. Very friendly staff. A staff member found my lost keys by the office, and Dee came and ask if we lost any keys! We were super thankful!! We have already made follow up reservations to return in October!! Highly recommended!!!

Very peaceful and well maintained KOA. Great river runs along the perimeter and the dog park is the best one I have seen so far. The staff are great The Wi-Fi has signal but no internet. There is also NO cellular until you get main road. We had Starlink so we were ok but if we didn't, we wouldn't be able to make calls or stream tv at night. Other than that...it was great. I would return for sure.

Dee, Lisa, Nancy, and Bill are the best. They make sure you feel at home on this campground. Very welcoming. They make sure to check up on you. They are always cleaning and keeping the place looking good. Plenty of activity here for everyone. It was so peaceful. My family will definitely be returning often.

I'm not a regular camper of any sort but I really enjoyed this campground and its amenities. Wonderful and relaxing location, clean cabins and facilities, and top notch hospitality from property management and employees. I'd totally stay here again!
