We had a great stay!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Such a great place for a family or just to go chill. The only reason I said 4 was that there was a lot of poison ivy at our site and the bathrooms could really use some AC. I am highly allergic to poison ivy.

Stay for four nights an plan on going back. The staff was great and took great care of everyone even while dealing with a little management turnover.

This is the only KOA we stay at in NC, and the main reason is Dee. She always goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. The grounds are very peaceful and relaxing.

We have made Peace Valley our home base and favorite campground. The hosts are extra friendly and extremely helpful. Campground is kept up immaculate and beautiful. A very peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

The staff was very pleasant, and my campsite was perfect. The dog park is fabulous! The laundry was clean and in working order. We did not use the bathhouse. We look forward to visiting another time. From the campsite, we rode the Tail of the Dragon.

We stayed on site 35 and the view from the site was beautiful!!! Dee was very nice and helpful kept things clean and neat. Small campgrounds and had a huge dog park for my golden retriever to play on. Will definitely come back soon.

No signage on main road to KOA. Riverside sites were to steep to access the river. It was clean and quiet but did not offer any activities. Great spot if you need a rest.

We had a nice site along the river for our Class C, 29ft RV. Quiet campground, clean bathrooms with a large shower and private changing area. Friendly campers that came over to help my husband with an awning problem. We did not make reservations, but the owner was outside when we arrived and took the time to show us a couple of campsites. He was very pleasant as well.

The owner was great, took care of all of our needs. He also responded quickly to our text messages. The sites are a little tight, bath/showers ok, and I would consider the grounds to be ok.

I stayed 5 nights to ride the North Carolina mountains—a great location from the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway. The KOA is well maintained and the park's groundskeeper takes great pride in his work. This is the second time I stayed here and I'll be back.

This place is quiet, peaceful and comfortable! We’ve been coming here for a couple of years. Dee and Matt are the best! One of the best KOA campgrounds we have ever been to!

Nice quiet KOA well off the road. Our site was mostly level if centered well and others look the same. Property well maintained and has a nice creek running through it. Woman's bathroom was clean. Near town for groceries, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our stay and will come back when we are back in the area.

The best KOA we have stayed at so far. Very clean and well kept camp grounds. The staff and camp host are very friendly and made our stay extremely enjoyable.

The place was very accommodating, to let us come in late and was very helpful in the morning to pay for our one night stay. The campground was very clean and quite loved it will be staying there again!

Friendly staff lady named Dee! Beautiful lazy river and views. Quiet. No traffic sounds for a change. Fun birds to watch. Clean, wonderful RR and Showers. Tree shade.

Trout season opened on Sat. April 6th so we made our annual opening day trip to Peace Valley KOA in Murphy. Matt & crew had the Campground in tip-top shape. We were greeted on arrival. As I disconnected the toad from the RV Dee got the paperwork up on her computer and we were on our way to our "back-in" on the Valley River campsite. The next 9 days were without a hitch staff helpful & friendly

Absolutely love this campground and will continue to go back. Sites are well maintained, bathhouse is really clean, and Dee is very attentive to the campers and needs. Love the huge fenced in area for our pup to run and play as well as the smaller camp K9 if you don’t want such a vast area. Right on the river and in an excellent location.

We had a great stay! The campground is in an excellent location, close to all the attractions in Murphy and very easy to access from the highway. The grounds were quiet and well-maintained, with a clean pool, a fun game room for the kids, a beautiful river, and a huge dog park. It's a perfect spot for families, pet owners, and anyone looking to relax in Western North Carolina. Highly recommend!
