Our family had a Reunion in Murphy NC at the Peace Valley KOA . We had many meals & social gatherings (fireside get-togethers) that week. *Staff support was outstanding with Dee and staff being great at getting us firewood, setting up the sites and handling questions & recommendations. *The pool, campsites, bathrooms were clean & well maintained. *The park had a happy/friendly feel to it.

Originally had a RV site reserved and had an issue with my motorhome and Dee was able to get us into a cabin. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Anything we needed them to correct was handled very quickly. My spouse has health issues and Staff was very kind to her. We will be returning in the future.

Our stay was nice and peaceful enjoy the river and our cabin. The only complaint I have is the bath towel were terrible need to be replaced and the bath mat.

The most quite campground I have ever stay at! The staff was amazing and responsive. Our cabin was spotless. Great views. There are lots of things to do in Murphy.

We had a very pleasant stay in one of the cabins. Our cabin had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. The hosts and staff were very friendly. Dee and Lisa made you feel very welcome and we enjoyed some fun conversations. The campground was very well maintained. Great dog park for our fur baby to run and play. I absolutely recommend this location and have already booked another stay

I was originally assigned to cabin 2 but later was moved to cabin 3 because of a cancellation. Cabin 3 with its enclosed screen porch was wonderful along side the Quiet, peaceful, helpful staff and beautiful surroundings. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend them to all.

The refurbished cabin was charming. The new air conditioner was not working. Had to use a window air conditioner which was not adequate. Staff is awesome.

What a hidden gem of a KOA! We stayed in one of the cabins. It was perfect. We will be back soon for another stay!

The staff/service is outstanding, cleanliness, friendliness and attention to detail by the staff is absolutely unparalleled! The ONLY complaint is the WiFi, which is abysmal. And since the TV service is internet dependent, when the WiFi is down, there is absolutely no electronic entertainment to enjoy after hours or during inclement weather. This NEEDS to be addressed.

Our stay was wonderful. We stayed in a cabin that had everything we needed. It was so nice sitting on the porch listening to the river and the birds. My dogs loved the acre K-9 field. Murpy was close by we went to the river walk that was amazing. The staff at the KOA were pleasant. If I were to change anything maybe get stronger Wifi. Overall I really liked this KOA and will definitely be back!

Dee and Kayla where as nice and accommodating as always! the cabin was clean, stocked and the air conditioner was on when we arrived, we had a very comfortable two nights and will definitely stay again one of our best spots !! We love it and at a very reasonable price�ϋ��ϋ��ϋ�����������������

The owners were very helpful and friendly. My only critique would be that cabin 4 is extremely close to the next campsite and we heard a generator running all night long.

This was our 1st adventure camping in a cabin, we had the best Service thank you Dee and staff …if we get down that way again, that’s where we are staying .. Prayers that all in that area are safe from Helene ..

Stayed in a cabin on the river, great site and really comfortable screened in porch. Cabin was dated but next on the remodel schedule. Nice RV park and helpful friendly staff!

Filthy nasty. We stayed in our trailer. It was filthy and gross. I wouldn't let my dogs go in the cabin. We enjoyed 3 weeks there in 2022. It was nice. Now it's a dump.

It was a lovely, quiet KOA campground. All our needs were met, and staying right by the river was great. Our bedroom was warm but I understand that, with the new renovation, there will be another air conditioner. It would good to have a lap upstairs in addition to the overhead light and perhaps another air condition (it gets hot up there). New pots/pans would be good too.

Very nice and well maintained KOA. We stayed in a cabin which was nice but does need a deep clean and updating of furnishings, linens, bedding etc. which we were told is happening soon. Very peaceful on the Valley River. Dee and Kyla were wonderful and very accommodating.

Nice facility. Came to area to do Andrews Bike Rail trail so very convenient. Facility was very clean. Loved the pool and the porch over the river. Only complaint is Futon extremely uncomfortable for watching tv.

Dee, Lisa, Nancy, and Bill are the best. They make sure you feel at home on this campground. Very welcoming. They make sure to check up on you. They are always cleaning and keeping the place looking good. Plenty of activity here for everyone. It was so peaceful. My family will definitely be returning often.

I'm not a regular camper of any sort but I really enjoyed this campground and its amenities. Wonderful and relaxing location, clean cabins and facilities, and top notch hospitality from property management and employees. I'd totally stay here again!
