When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly and warm welcome by Dee. She promptly checked us in. And told us if we needed anything just ask. Made us feel like we were family. Cabins are older but are clean and roomy. River runs right behind the cabins. Beautiful spacious camper/RV sites with lots of shade. Entire park super clean. From the first call to DeeDee it was great. If we needed something she was a great source. Polite and jovial are great assets in a camp host. The little river was the perfect length for little float trips and a clean pool . We could bring our pets. Walmart is about 3 miles away. So just call ahead and leave a pickup order for after you arrive. Beautiful area.

The cabin was nice. A little dated. Shower was small. The location was great. The staff was friendly. Already recommended it to a friend. Restaurants in the area were great.

Even though it was a rainy weekend we stayed in the cabin greatly furnished everything we needed, the camp host Dee was so sweet and accommodating anything we needed she was there, will definitely spend our money there and go again !!

As always, its is a pleasure to stay at this KOA. Anytime we come to Murphy this is the only place we stay. Everyone there makes you feel very welcome and very friendly. We wouldnt stay any place else

Cabin maintenance & cleaning was terrible, lots of neglect. Holes that were not sealed, bugs came in, screen porch door crooked and wouldn't shut, toaster oven not cleaned at all, dishes/pans were dirty (we used disposable the whole time), Futon old, cushions broken, like sitting on metal bars. Grounds clean BUT Hotel is a better choice. 1/4 inch dust on fans & ceilings. Manager partied too much.

We apologize. End of season wear and tear and rushing to turn cabins around. All issues have been rectified.

Very enjoyable! Wonderful workers were pleasant and very accommodating! Beautiful site! Only drawback was turning off the Highway to enter the camp. Very sharp turn!

Stay was great, cabin not so much. I had to go to Walmart and buy pans to cook with. The dishes were awful. The bottom of the cabinet was covered in water, not sure how long but all the pots and pans need to be thrown in the garbage. Cooking utinsils were awful.. At 125.00 a night, I expect more. The cabin was not clean. Shower was dirty. Just needs a good cleaning and things replaced.

Stayed in cabin 3 this time rather than our normal tent site. The cabin was fantastic! They had everything we needed on site so it really saved me on packing and it was really cozy. The woodwork inside was nicely done as well and the river right off our screen porch was really nice!

Campground is well maintained, beautiful and serene. Matt the owner works extremely hard to welcome guests, maintain the campground, pool, kids playground and dog area etc. He is friendly, helpful. Kat works the office, cleans the cabins among other things. She is friendly and helpful. She does a great job around the campground and in the cabins. She ensures that campers have what they need.

The campground is beautiful and surrounded by gorgeous views/drives, riverfront access for fun, and nearby groceries/restaurants. Kat was a great campground hostess. She was friendly, attentive and very helpful. We stayed in one of the four cabins (#2) near the river. I think a little updating and a few more supplies would have made a big difference, but it was much better than tent camping!

The staff were super nice, and the area was beautiful. Really enjoyed the amenities like the game room and playground. The kids had a blast. We stayed in a cabin and it had everything we needed to be comfortable. Will be back!

We love going to Murphy/peace. Dee is the best. She is definitely part of our family now. If you want a peaceful and relaxing trip, this is it. We love coming up and going downtown to check out the shops and antique stores. Float down the river or just lay by the pool.
