Quiet stay, friendly staff and clean facilities. Facilities are showing there age. Drive way at entrance is a little nerve racking. Pool is very nice. Would stay here again and hope they are able to update some of the facilities.

43 ft class A …. SITE WAS SO UNLEVEL WE COULD NOT LEVEL WITHOUT PLATES UNDER JACKS. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND PLEASANT. SITE WAS TIGHT….PROBABLY THE WORST KOA I HAVE STAYED INFOR A BIG RIG.

After hours trucks driving around and idling near our tent. Road noise. Maintenance noise. Not a relaxing place to stay. Tried calling corporate after hours number and still no one has replied. Host and staff were very pleasant though. Nice pool.

Very quiet and clean park with a decent amount of room between rvs. Used the washer and dryer, nice machines, clean laundry room. Staff is super nice. Will stay again for sure if ever in the area.

While we had rain during our stay we did manage to get in the very inviting pool! Chairs were comfortable and umbrellas if you wanted some shade. Great laundry room and clean bathrooms. Our campsite was on the water and was very quiet. Overall it was a nice stay.

Peace Valley KOA has always been one of our favorite campgrounds. Always clean, great staff and is you secure one of the sites that back up to the river you will have a very serene stay.

only reason not 5 stars is wifi is very weak. The last several times we have stayed here I don't remember it being that bad. My wife needed to work a little while we were there but couldn't due to very weak wifi. We will still be back again.

DEE the manager and her crew run a fantastic operation. We stayed in spot 11 for about 20 minutes until Dee moved us at no additional cost to a shady spot on the river so they could change out the entire electrical pedestal. Our family had a Reunion in Murphy NC at the Peace Valley KOA . We had many meals & social gatherings (fireside get-togethers) that week. *Staff support was outstanding with Dee and staff being great at getting us firewood, setting up the sites and handling questions & recommendations. *The pool, campsites, bathrooms were clean & well maintained. *The park had a happy/friendly feel to it.

Although the KOA campers were extremely friendly, helpful when we had a tree limb fall on our camper doing a little damage and they cut it up to remove it from where it lodged between the camper and propane tank, the KOA staff (only one) was no where in sight because they close at 5pm. The only entertainment was the pool and a game room where we lost money on two of the machines available.

WE LOVE THIS LITTLE CAMPGROUND. WE WERE IN SITE 32 AND HAD A VERY PEACEFUL STAY. DEE GOT US CHECKED IN AS SOON AS WE GOT THERE AND WE WERE ESCORTED TO OUR SITE. EVERYONE WAS GREAT DURING OUR WHOLE STAY. WE LOVED WALKING AND TALKING TO THE STAFF AND ALL THE OTHER GUEST. IT WAS OVERALL A GREAT TIME.

We are frequent visitors to Murphy KOA and love it. The grounds are always clean and well kept and the ladies that run it are top notch. This is our preferred KOA!

Rented a cabin and it had everything I needed for my stay! Such a quiet peaceful spot with river views. Staff very friendly and helpful if you needed anything!

Unfortunately it seems like they raised the price and stopped doing as much as they did before. The power at our sites didn't seem like 30amp one kept flipping, and the 20 amp wasn't attached to one pole and couldn't use at other site because it was so close to the 30amp. The pads seemed to be more grass than rock now. The staff are great, friendly and helpful

Originally had a RV site reserved and had an issue with my motorhome and Dee was able to get us into a cabin. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Anything we needed them to correct was handled very quickly. My spouse has health issues and Staff was very kind to her. We will be returning in the future.

Everyone was so friendly. The staff was so helpful. The manager is amazing. She is on-site so on top of everything. It is very clean. They keep the yard detailed. The pool was very clean. We were so happy with our stay. Everyone is just amazing there and does such a great job and take pride in their work. Very safe campground, we just love it there. We will return shortly.

I reserved a specific site for specific date. I did so because of shade during the day. When I checked in I was given an alternative, had no choice to take it. Obviously the clan that was on my reserved site wanted to stay longer. I believe that if that is the case they should check out then go thru the reservation process themselves. They should have been given what was reserved by someone else.

Your site wasn’t locked at booking, so we moved you to a higher-tier Premium Deluxe tent site to better accommodate all guests. We do our best to meet everyone's needs, but unlocked sites may be reassigned as needed.

Our stay was nice and peaceful enjoy the river and our cabin. The only complaint I have is the bath towel were terrible need to be replaced and the bath mat.

We have stayed at several kOA’s and this location was our least favorite. The bathroom/bathhouse needs a great bit of updating. The campground was quiet, which was very nice. There was not anything to do locally. I learned to thoroughly research the KOA and its reviews and research the area before blindly reserving just because it is a KOA. They are definitely not all equal.

We loved the small size of the campground! The river behind our campsite was perfect to soak in after a day of touring the neighboring towns - we even loved the cows that would come down to drink from the river from across the campground. Then closed dog space was perfect for my German Shepherd mix to play fetch safely. Thank you for a clean, quiet, beautiful campground!

Enjoyed the campground very much. Great Staff very friendly, Pads and Adjacent amenities could use some freshening up. Wifi internet really have to get that fixed if you want to attract the remote worker. Sound like you are working on it. We are about to take a trip to Diamond lure and the primary driver is updated amenities as well as outstanding Wifi Capabilities where we can remote work

Need to add a light to keep pool open longer in the evening. Smells like feces in outside and when toilets are flushed in the cabin or RVs. It was not like that when we stayed there before. Very uncomfortable futon in cabin to sleep on. Needs replaced.

very nice/clean campground right by the stream. you can go tubing if you wish. Town of Murphy is super cute. great restaurants and boutiques.

Awesome but the KOA rewards can only be used in $50 increments per stay, I would recommend that any increment could be used at the discretion of the holder. This is no fault of Murphy KOA it is a corporate decision.

Dee, Lisa, Nancy, and Bill are the best. They make sure you feel at home on this campground. Very welcoming. They make sure to check up on you. They are always cleaning and keeping the place looking good. Plenty of activity here for everyone. It was so peaceful. My family will definitely be returning often.

I'm not a regular camper of any sort but I really enjoyed this campground and its amenities. Wonderful and relaxing location, clean cabins and facilities, and top notch hospitality from property management and employees. I'd totally stay here again!
