was a little run down. but in a good location. employees were friendly and helpful.. had a problem with 30 amp service and was given a 50 amp cord and that fixed it.

Check-in was quick and easy though we were little late due to delays in travel. We were met in person and guided to our rv site by golf cart escort. Campground was well kept and site was level with all hookups. Picnic table and fire rings were nice touch. Highly recommend.

The site was small but worked. View was amazing! Really appreciated the large dog run. Staff could nit have been any friendlier! Really made us feel welcome!

We loved the location and the size of the campground. There were lots of trees and we loved having a fire pit on our site. Each site was large enough that we didn’t feel like we were camping in a parking lot, which happens a lot when you have a camper and not a tent. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The people who run it were always out and about if you ever needed anything. Loved i

Dee and all of the employees were wonderful and made our stay so pleasant. The cabins were clean and accommodated all of our needs. We can’t wait to plan our next trip with them.

Nicely maintained campground. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet at night (no trains nearby). It is very close to shopping options for food and other supplies as well as a variety of restaurants. And if you like this sort of thing there is a casino about a mile away.

We had a great stay. The campground was very well kept, peaceful, and beautiful. We stayed in site 34 which backs up to Valley River and the scenery is beautiful. My husband enjoyed wade fishing and it is the perfect spot to enjoy reading. If you are looking for calm and peace this is the place to go.

Absolutely magical weekend at KOA! Dee, Lisa, Connie & Bill were amazing—especially Dee & Lisa (aka skinny arms) who rescued our chihuahua Rosie from a locked car with an old-school metal hanger. Spotless showers, peaceful vibes, and a bald eagle soaring over the river near our tent. Nature, kindness, and glamping bliss. We’ll be back!

Best campground we have stayed at ever. Great dog park for our dogs to run and play. They go above and beyond to make your stay great. Very friendly staff and Dee is the best. We will be back in November.

My three-night stay was very relaxing. The campground was quiet enough that I slept with the windows open. The facilities were clean and the Camp Host, Dee, was amazing! She checked on us every day to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves!!!!! I’ll definitely go back!!!

Over the past 10 yrs of RVing my wife and I would go to 3 or 4 Campgrounds in Aug. & Sept. This year we opted to pick our favorite - KOA Peace Valley in Murphy NC for an extended 8 week stay. It was the great decision. With Kay's help we got a great site on the River. We set up a Family reunion in August. The campground is well maintained, bath house and pool areas renovated. Staff very helpful.

We are annual campers here, and we love it. Our cabin is always EXCEPTIONALLY clean and well furnished. The camp host is super helpful and friendly and is always visible. Our friends have campers, and their spots are always well kept with concrete, gravel, and places to sit. We love this little campground by the river and highly recommend it.

It is always so nice to go stay at this campground, dee and the crew are always hard at work cleaning checking on things if you ever need anything all you ever have to do is ask. The restroom/bath house is always clean very well stocked and decorated like you’re at home men’s and women’s. it is our go to spot for a long weekend A+++++++++++

We came the week after Labor day week. Very well kept by friendly hosts. Located between National Forests and many things to do. This is a quiet little gem with a pool. Will definitely consider coming back. Maybe we'll have better luck at the casino on the next visit.

Ladies in the office were phenomenal. Our RV broke down on our trip up from Florida and they kept in touch with us and helped us with adjustments to our arrival. I highly recommend this campground to everyone.

Personnel at check-in were very friendly and helpful. Cabin was clean and supplied with everything you would need. Grounds were beautiful, definitely will be back again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restrooms are kept clean and maintained. We chose this location because it was close to our Andrews Valley Railroad adventure. Bonus is its location to a casino one mile away, and Cherokee a little drive over.

This was a great weekend for me and my family. We had a great time. The staff was great. They was very helpful and friendly and came around and checked on us often to make sure we had everything that we needed and to see if we was okay. The place was clean. The shower house was very clean also. They made us feel like we was home. I would recommend this place for everyone to visit. We’ll back soo

Love coming to Peace Valley. We have been coming here from Tennessee for the last 6 years. It’s clean great employees.

Dee and the crew are AMAZING and so hospitable. This is our second time coming to this KOA. It is clean, the facilities all work properly and the grounds are immaculate. My kids feel safe and love the plaground and pool and riding their bikes around. We already booked for Memorial Day and Labor Day next year.

Great shade sites, peaceful indeed. Good pool and playroom items. Small but nice- friendly staff Firewood available is punky, wont burn only smolders :(

Dee, Lisa, Nancy, and Bill are the best. They make sure you feel at home on this campground. Very welcoming. They make sure to check up on you. They are always cleaning and keeping the place looking good. Plenty of activity here for everyone. It was so peaceful. My family will definitely be returning often.

I'm not a regular camper of any sort but I really enjoyed this campground and its amenities. Wonderful and relaxing location, clean cabins and facilities, and top notch hospitality from property management and employees. I'd totally stay here again!
