We reserved a site for a trailer and a cabin for 5 people. It was an excellent experience. The location is great, and the service and support staff were very friendly. My only suggestion would be to replace the main mattress in the cabin, as it's in poor condition and wasn't comfortable.

We have stayed here many times in the past almost 8 years. We have never been charged for arriving early. This time we were ~18 minutes early and you charged us $25. We find this completely unacceptable. You did nothing different to accommodate us except charge an additional $25. Matt would have never done that. Also, leaves were everywhere. Maybe we'll find a different place to stay.

Lots are too close, especially for week or more stay. Looked like folks living in their RVs. Overall good experience, but for mountain camping find a park with bigger lots.

We stay there several times a year. The staff has always been great Dee is my favorite she is helpful. The campground is well kept, and we keep coming back.

Maybe more space in between the stites ,updated pads with better fire pits. The place was clean and very quiet close to downtown Murphy , ellijay and Blue ridge . We will be back

I said I was very likely to tell friends and family but I don’t want to share so I can always find a camp spot! LOL This is by far my favorite campground. I like smaller and more natural with the river and woods 5 stars all the way

As always, this employees at the KOA go above and beyond to make you feel at home! We always camp here when we come to the Murphy area because of the wonderful people who work there. Dee is an absolute sweetheart and everyone else is so nice and helpful. The campsites are so well maintained. The campground is very clean and the patio sites and river sites are the best.

was a little run down. but in a good location. employees were friendly and helpful.. had a problem with 30 amp service and was given a 50 amp cord and that fixed it.

Check-in was quick and easy though we were little late due to delays in travel. We were met in person and guided to our rv site by golf cart escort. Campground was well kept and site was level with all hookups. Picnic table and fire rings were nice touch. Highly recommend.

The site was small but worked. View was amazing! Really appreciated the large dog run. Staff could nit have been any friendlier! Really made us feel welcome!

We loved the location and the size of the campground. There were lots of trees and we loved having a fire pit on our site. Each site was large enough that we didn’t feel like we were camping in a parking lot, which happens a lot when you have a camper and not a tent. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Nicely maintained campground. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet at night (no trains nearby). It is very close to shopping options for food and other supplies as well as a variety of restaurants. And if you like this sort of thing there is a casino about a mile away.

We had a great stay. The campground was very well kept, peaceful, and beautiful. We stayed in site 34 which backs up to Valley River and the scenery is beautiful. My husband enjoyed wade fishing and it is the perfect spot to enjoy reading. If you are looking for calm and peace this is the place to go.

Absolutely magical weekend at KOA! Dee, Lisa, Connie & Bill were amazing—especially Dee & Lisa (aka skinny arms) who rescued our chihuahua Rosie from a locked car with an old-school metal hanger. Spotless showers, peaceful vibes, and a bald eagle soaring over the river near our tent. Nature, kindness, and glamping bliss. We’ll be back!

Best campground we have stayed at ever. Great dog park for our dogs to run and play. They go above and beyond to make your stay great. Very friendly staff and Dee is the best. We will be back in November.

My three-night stay was very relaxing. The campground was quiet enough that I slept with the windows open. The facilities were clean and the Camp Host, Dee, was amazing! She checked on us every day to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves!!!!! I’ll definitely go back!!!

Over the past 10 yrs of RVing my wife and I would go to 3 or 4 Campgrounds in Aug. & Sept. This year we opted to pick our favorite - KOA Peace Valley in Murphy NC for an extended 8 week stay. It was the great decision. With Kay's help we got a great site on the River. We set up a Family reunion in August. The campground is well maintained, bath house and pool areas renovated. Staff very helpful.

We are annual campers here, and we love it. Our cabin is always EXCEPTIONALLY clean and well furnished. The camp host is super helpful and friendly and is always visible. Our friends have campers, and their spots are always well kept with concrete, gravel, and places to sit. We love this little campground by the river and highly recommend it.

We had a great stay! The campground is in an excellent location, close to all the attractions in Murphy and very easy to access from the highway. The grounds were quiet and well-maintained, with a clean pool, a fun game room for the kids, a beautiful river, and a huge dog park. It's a perfect spot for families, pet owners, and anyone looking to relax in Western North Carolina. Highly recommend!
