Nice small campground. The spaces riverside have a beautiful view but they are close together. Bath house was very clean. Grounds are well maintained. Camp hosts are awesome! The owner is very attentive and is always on site. We will definitely stay here again when in Murphy, NC.

Our stay at the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA was nothing short of perfection. After having our reservations canceled by a different KOA site, we were welcomed at the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA. This campground is everything I could have hoped for. It was spotlessly clean and was quiet. This was my wife’s first time staying at a KOA and she loved it. Thanks and I hope to stay there again soon.

We enjoyed sitting on the creek there at the campground than the whole trip. Very nice park and Matt and crew were excellent hosts. Second time there, and we will be back.

We thoroughly enjoy staying here because it’s quiet, clean and the owners always go out of their way to make sure we have a pleasant experience staying there. This time we were even able to change to a pull through site after we checked in. So kind!

Matt and his staff are amazing!! They make sure we have everything we need during our stay. They keep the campground very neat and clean. This was our 3rd year staying and already booked for next year.

Alway enjoy staying at Peace Valley (just finished our forth visit). The local motorcycle rides are spectacular, and Matt (the owner) makes us feel like family.

We met friends here (2nd visit here). We had an awesome patio lot. Love the intimacy of this park, and the staff is awesome, particularly Dee, you need it, she’s there! Thanks again Dee!

Stay was great! Too short. My wife and I made a weekend trip for a restful weekend. This was the best place for that. Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and they made sure we were set up for that. They had our site raked and neat. I really like the pedestal. Very peaceful, management was around and quickly addressed any issues. Super friendly staff!

This was our first time staying here. It definitely will not be our last. We stayed 4 days and it was so quiet and peaceful. The campground hosts, Dee and Matt are amazing. If you are looking for a great little get away, then Murphy/Peace Valley is the place for you!

Convenient location to Murphy and surrounding small towns. Friendly hosts and campers. Loved the creek or river views and sounds. Only negative came around dusk when the wind brought in the smells of a cow farm for about an hour on most days. Overall we enjoyed our stay along with the fall colors.

Our 4th - 5th stay here. We really love this place. Super Crew! Matt and company do a great job! The little store always have something cool! Good firewood too! So convenient to all W. NC and NE GA. I am so glad to live only 2 hrs. East. Easy trip with trailer. 76 all the way! See you soon!!! CW

Because of my goof up we had to spend one week at one site and one week at another site, both sides were beautiful especially the second one. Matt was fantastic, always out raking up the leaves to make sure each site was perfect. If you needed anything Dee was the person to see, just remember to make her breakfast! We will be back again, hopefully very shortly.

Comfortable, friendly, well-kept - camping at the Peace Valley KOA is always a pleasure. This trip was over our 45th anniversary, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Murphy Chophouse. When we come to stay at this campground, we never want to leave. We've stayed here off and on for a few years now and plan to come back as often as possible.

Dee & her crew went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, (cabin # 1 has a great fire pit & even a little rocky beach down by the river) will stay again for sure.

We've probably stayed at Murphy KOA at least 10 times, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. It feels less like camping with strangers and more like visiting family. Dee, Lisa, and the entire team are incredibly welcoming and always go above and beyond to make everyone feel right at home. The campground is exceptionally well maintained. During our stay, the staff checked and cleaned the pool several times throughout the day, so it was always sparkling and ready to enjoy. The bathhouse was consistently spotless, fully stocked, and clearly cared for with pride. This trip, we also reserved the pavilion for a birthday party, and it was the perfect venue. It was clean, spacious, and accommodated our group beautifully. If you're planning a family reunion, birthday party, or any large gathering, I highly recommend taking advantage of this space. One unexpected highlight was our first visit to the nearby casino, which is only about a mile from the campground. It was a lot of fun and honestly much nicer than the photos online make it look! Murphy KOA continues to exceed our expectations year after year. It's become one of our favorite places to visit, and we always leave counting down the days until our next trip. We can't recommend it enough! Also, they have storage onsite... so we decided to leave our camper there since we'll be back in Sept! :)

We love staying at Murphy KOA! The facilities are well kept and clean and the grounds are well maintained. Dee and her crew are the best. Cabin was clean and cool and plenty of space for us. We will be back!
