Very well maintained KOA, with good size sites, conveniently located just outside Murphy NC. Popular with motorcyclists touring the Smokies. Really enjoyed the huge, all grass dog park!

Though,the hosts were very personable and attentive,our site was not up to par. The fire pit was too close to camper to have a fire.The 30 amp was not working,so they lent us a 50amp adapter. The hose bib was malfunctioning so we had very low water pressure and the cable did not work.IF we stay there again we will definitely ask for a different site and check working conditions before setting up.

Was really impressed with this kampground! The service was impeccable and the staff are very attentive. Our cabin was great, back porch facing the river was awesome!

Friendly staff, friendly campers, clean campground and a great dog park — what’s not to like? We had a great time with the Chattanooga Camping Club at Murphy/Peace Valley KOA!

This was our first time staying at this KOA. The area was very quiet and peaceful even when being full. Loved the two fenced dog parks! We had a lot right on the creek and it was a great spot. The best part was the customer service. Dee is the best!! One small down side was the slots on creek are a little small but other than that we will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend.

5 stars is not enough. I’d give this KOA over a 10 The campground is beautifully well kept and the staff is amazing. Our truck broke down and we had to wait to get parts and they went above and beyond to help us and make our time there comfirtsbke and wonderful !

When we go on vacation we typically pick a spot where we lay our heads down for the night and during the day we are out visiting places and doing things. We enjoyed this area because it was close to so many surrounding areas.

We loved the campground! We also loved Dee, she is AWESOME! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. Awesome job and fantastic camp host! Most definitely will be back to this campground!

It is a great place with roomy sites and kept very clean and tidy. I would like a bald area within the pet area, so a racquet ball will bounce well. My dog lives to catch the racquet ball but the grass is nice and thick in the pet area and the ball does not bounce at all.

The place is beautiful and the Staff are outstandingly friendly and attentive. Simply cannot be beat! HOWEVER, New owners decided to increase the rates this year by $50 per night on the cabins. Normally I wouldn't think twice about that, but since the WiFi is still practically non-existent, the cabin kitchen is barely stocked with necessities, we may have to rethink future trips. We'll see next ye

maintenance crew needs to do a better job with cutting the weeds. Very little river access due to no steps and steep banks. The only two spots you can access the river was grown up in high weeds. Overall the campground is good but could be a lot better with some simple maintenance.

We had a great stay!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Such a great place for a family or just to go chill. The only reason I said 4 was that there was a lot of poison ivy at our site and the bathrooms could really use some AC. I am highly allergic to poison ivy.

Camp hosts were super friendly and helpful. This campground is smaller so even when full, it's fairly quiet. All facilities were clean. We would visit Peace Valley KOA again in the future.

Stay for four nights an plan on going back. The staff was great and took great care of everyone even while dealing with a little management turnover.

This is the only KOA we stay at in NC, and the main reason is Dee. She always goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. The grounds are very peaceful and relaxing.

We have made Peace Valley our home base and favorite campground. The hosts are extra friendly and extremely helpful. Campground is kept up immaculate and beautiful. A very peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

People were very friendly, campground clean. Deluxe cabin was $150/night… advertised to sleep 6 adults. There were 2 small pots, 3 coffee cups. fold down couch was stained and smelled… the carpet in the loft was very old and smelled., shower pipe was loose.. almost pulled it out trying to adjust the shower head. several of the lights were burnt out… I would expect something more updated for

The staff was very pleasant, and my campsite was perfect. The dog park is fabulous! The laundry was clean and in working order. We did not use the bathhouse. We look forward to visiting another time. From the campsite, we rode the Tail of the Dragon.

We had a great stay! The campground is in an excellent location, close to all the attractions in Murphy and very easy to access from the highway. The grounds were quiet and well-maintained, with a clean pool, a fun game room for the kids, a beautiful river, and a huge dog park. It's a perfect spot for families, pet owners, and anyone looking to relax in Western North Carolina. Highly recommend!
