There is not one staff member that we did thoroughly enjoy during our visit. We have traveled from Maine to Florida and we loved this campground so much that we booked our next 2 stays already for 2025. Dee, Lisa and Kayla are welcoming, accommodating, kind and gracious. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. This campground feels like family. We can't wait to come back!

The park scheduled alot to do the week leading upto us getting there. For labor day that had a good band show up for some good music. Huge dog run. We were originally given a site that our 42ft 5th wheel wouldn't have fit, but the host quickly moved us to a site that would. The road entering or leaving is very narrow and on a hill, good luck meeting another RV coming out or in

We love the Murphy KOA and they haven’t missed a beat since going under new ownership. The staff did a great job over the Labor Day Weekend with fun family activities and handled any issues that arose with Grace and ease. They kept everything clean and were extremely polite to all guests and vendors. We have already booked again for Labor Dat Weekend 2025!

Great campground along a small river. We’ve stayed here before and will again when in area. Staff is great. They had lots of kid and adult activities for the Labor Day holiday.

As a single woman who’s traveled around the country, this campground is by far, one of my favorites! From the moment you pull in it feels like home. The women who run this beautiful campground are kind and hard working, always going out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Kudos to Dee, Kayla and the rest of crew!

Not the cleanest KOA I’ve stayed at. If there was a more accessible trash can than the bathhouse, I didn’t locate it. Also, an area for charging devices would be nice for tent campers. I found one active outlet behind the change machine at the bathhouse while the ones in the laundry room were not operable.

Such an amazing stay! Peaceful, enjoyable, relaxing and very memorable! Super clean, well kept, huge dog park, beautiful creek, and very friendly and hospitable owners/workers. Definitely a place we will be returning to!

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this KOA! What a hidden gem! So peaceful (literally!),the staff were warm and friendly, even the other campers were wonderful to be around. The owners thought our 5th wheel might have been too big for the site we reserved, so she moved us to a different site and it was perfect! Love its proximity to everything! We definitely will be back!

We have stayed here a number of times , the campground is well taken care of and the staff is great. We were ther last week they are doing some remodeling. Dee is great we love her, she will help with anything you need. We will be going back. Love you Dee see you soon.

We love staying in smaller KOA campgrounds. We stayed in our 5th wheel along the river in site 38. Dee and the staff were very nice and went out of their way to help and make sure our stay was great. Improvements and upgrades are currently being made due to new ownership. We look forward to coming back soon. Thank you

We stayed there for three days and was able to get a spot in the river too with several other friends Dee worked her manic and was able to us grouped together . Great time for all and Fee was coming around asking if we needed any thing. Great manager We will be back

This is our 2nd time staying at this location. We loved it so much the first time, we knew we wanted to come back. The staff is so friendly and the grounds are kept so nice. We were told about the upgrades that will be happening and we are excited to be able to come back to see what is going to be done. We are already looking forward to the next trip. Thank you for everything!

The staff is amazing…willing to accommodate any requests. So friendly and welcoming, just a lot of fun people to associate with. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely place! Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier than planned due to a hurricane bearing down on our city in Florida. So we hope to be back soon! Wish we could recoup the money we lost! :-(

It was a lovely, quiet KOA campground. All our needs were met, and staying right by the river was great. Our bedroom was warm but I understand that, with the new renovation, there will be another air conditioner. It would good to have a lap upstairs in addition to the overhead light and perhaps another air condition (it gets hot up there). New pots/pans would be good too.

Nice stay. My only criticism is that our campsite had a bush planted right where one come out of trailer. Unnecessary and in the way.

Sites are well-designed and mostly level. The extra-large dog play area is excellent. The staff is super friendly. The campground was tranquil and had that "state park" feel. A couple of minor critiques - the signage out at the road is non-existent for anyone heading southbound. I would recommend doing an evening trash run. Real firepits would be a nice upgrade instead of old tire rims.

Very nice and well maintained KOA. We stayed in a cabin which was nice but does need a deep clean and updating of furnishings, linens, bedding etc. which we were told is happening soon. Very peaceful on the Valley River. Dee and Kyla were wonderful and very accommodating.

Dea and all the staff make a big effort to keep the park neat and tidy. Their hard work really shows and the pet friendliness is above and beyond. The location of the park is so convenient to many sites and events we like, plus there is little road noise from the highway. The new owner is serious about improving the park and so far so good. Lighting at the entrance and a sturdy sign is needed.

As always this is a lovely, well kept campground. We stumbled upon it last year and stay there every month, when possible. The pool sparkles. Sites are well tended. It now has new owners but with the same friendly and helpful atmosphere. Dee is still managing the campground and continues to be helpful and accommodating. There are some new updates happening which are exciting too. Love this place!

Dee, Lisa, Nancy, and Bill are the best. They make sure you feel at home on this campground. Very welcoming. They make sure to check up on you. They are always cleaning and keeping the place looking good. Plenty of activity here for everyone. It was so peaceful. My family will definitely be returning often.

I'm not a regular camper of any sort but I really enjoyed this campground and its amenities. Wonderful and relaxing location, clean cabins and facilities, and top notch hospitality from property management and employees. I'd totally stay here again!
