Fabulous KOA in Mount Pleasant. The Caboose was clean, comfortable & stylish. Set on the lake with beath taking views, sunrises & sunsets. Fishing, cycling, hikonk. Safe & close to restaurants, adventure, mini-golf. Bring charcial & cook while outoors viewing nature. Pool is open for swimming! The days are warming up!!

Amazing place to stay, super clean and updated. This is my 3rd trip back in the last 3 months. Super friendly staff and always available to help you out.

The bathrooms nearest to the cabin K16 were not cleaned at all during our two day stay. The floor was not swept, the commodes were not cleaned the entire stay.

Have not been to a KOA since I was a kid. We were really impressed and loved the Mount Pleasant KOA. All the camp employees were really helpful and were very nice. We loved the K9 camp, looked like it was kept up well, if not recently redone. The nature trail was great, fun campfires and great bike riding and walking. The bathhouse had been redone recently and was very nice and maintained.

We love the cabin. Service was amazing . The only negative statement I have is from a gentle I spoke to on the phone when I was driving down. I hadp to say we were going to be there earlier than expected could we check in any earlier and he was not friendly and was very quick to respond to say “ the check in 4 and no earlier”. Jeff was his name I believe.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Very sorry but because of the housekeeping that needs to be done between guests, check in on the cabins is anytime after 4:00 p.m.

Our rustic cabin smelled musty, like a wet dog and the blinds on the door did not function properly. The campground was nice, it had a lot of activities, peddle boats, bike/walking trail, playground. The bathrooms/showers were decently clean (to their credit, I showered in late evenings). The staff was all super friendly and welcoming!

Your brochure lists cable channels and we had NONE (streaming only). Local programming is very important to us wherever are are.

Love this place staff are the best at what they do!!! Place has a lot of pride from bathhouses to housekeeping to landscaping very friendly and helpful with anything and everything u need.. quick response and wood delivery and emails!!! Thank u coming back in few weeks for my husband’s birthday surprise!!

Stay was perfect. Staff and management were awesome and very helpful. The entire campgrounds are the cleanest and most well organized we have visited. Staff not just were well organized and busy making sites clean, they also made the grounds extremely safe. All in all this was a great location for our stay and we want to thank staff for their awesome attention to detail. Cheers.

I stay here thru-out the Fall and Winter Months, as I have a daughter that goes to school at the College of Charleston. Great place to stay, very nice accommodations. Always clean and comfortable. My Go-To Place! Thank you again for a great stay!

Mt Pleasant Camp Ground has always been a great place to stay. Very clean and the staff is always helpful and pleasant. Cabin are clean and up to date. Would and have recommended the camp ground anytime……

Lisa is amazing. She is alway so kind and ready to help. The only thing I suggest is to have covers for the chairs and tables so they can actually be used without bird poop all over them. I always bring my own chairs and it would make the load lighter. Thank you

We have been to other KOA sites and thought that there was a standard among them Not so. Our deluxe cabin with kitchen and sleeping capacity for 4, lacked all utensils, dishes, glasses. It could sleep 2 adults, but the crawl space above was only adequate for small children who could climb steep staircase. Trails were great. Improve website so folks can prepare appropriately.

Would like to see a little bit better maintenance on their “Deluxe” cabin. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy and was absolutely vital in keeping the humidity down in the room. There was also a maintenance door on the side of the cabin that was left open and banging/squeaking against the cabin anytime the wind blew. I had to have their after hours guy duct tape it shut.

We stayed in k19 very clean. All staff was great checking was easy a lot of stuff to do. Cooper had fun running in the rain and walking through the mud puddles. I recommend this place to all my friends. Thanks for the nice time spending with you folks. Jackie the manager was awesome. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The new bath house was great

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!
