Thanksgiving gathering was wonderful. We appreciate the use of the kamping kitchen. Internet wasn't strong enough to use in the cabin.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Our Dogwood cabin was perfect. Access to firewood or anything else we needed was a breeze. Well maintained property! Friendly staff too.

Good time in the cabins. Hours of Halloween things for the kids to do on top of the normal KOA camping experience. Already looking to see if next year's schedule will put us in the area on the Halloween activity "weekend."

Very clean grounds, bathrooms spotless and so many activities! The activity director she is - Amazing!! Mr Pat is so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable.

It was overall a good stay. However, the shower in our cabin was not working. It was broken and they only way I could shower was if I held the shower head in place, making it difficult to wash my hair fully. Also, within 5 minutes of being in the shower, I was ankle deep in water because the shower was not draining appropriately. :(

The grounds themselves were very well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. However the accommodations were far from expected. The pictures on the website were deceptive as they did not fully convey the extremely tight confines of the deluxe cabin. It was very cramped. The loft was so small you had to crawl on your knees to get in. The mattress was the worst we have ever experienced.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Very sorry you were disappointed with the cabin. The loft is good for kids, but not for adults. As your internet reservation did not state kids, only 2 adults, when it was reviewed by the campground, we let it stand as you reserved it.

Enjoyed our first visit here. Would have been a 5 star had the bathrooms been in working order. Several cabins, none with bathrooms and the nearest bathhouse had only 1 working bathroom/shower sometimes 2 for most of the time we were there. So the long walk up to the front office facilities was in order. Otherwise, friendly staff, clean grounds, great decorations. We will likely be back

The property and location is very nice. The cabin we stayed in was expensive, dirty and in poor repair. Very disappointed in the cabin.

We needed a few days away and found the perfect spot, the KOA in Mt Pleasant. The grounds were perfect, peaceful and beautiful. We spent the entire stay at the campground. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved our visit, wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was perfect, loved the patio.

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The activity director is amazing. We didn’t want to leave because we were enjoying ourselves so much.

We were quite disappointed this stay. Being handicapped, we chose a specific cabin close to handicap facility. Why closed 3/4 & leave one non-handicap open? It was also very annoying having to continuously listen to the same employee go on to others about her personal life; one point blocking store door w her court story. And the no toilet paper, that topped it. Not a happy camper.

I like this KOA, but I will say at the very end of my recent stay, I was not pleased. I left the campsite around 10:30, came bc I had forgotten a blanket, and by 1:30 that same day it was no where to be found. I find it really weird bc I was only there in that cabin for one night. The front desk staff was not as helpful as they could’ve been and were quite defensive. 3/5

I have stayed at several KOAs around the US and this is my favorite so far. The grounds were beautiful and clean, The facilities were also very clean, and the staff was so nice and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was lovely and clean and had such lovely features such as a mini fridge and AC/heat. Thank You so much Mount Pleasent/Charelston KOA!! We will be back for sure.

I am a longtime renter at the Mt. Pleasant KOA. Love the place. One complaint this time is the HVAC unit in our cabin, K24, made a squeaking sound the whole time it was running. Everything else was great!

My 1 and 4 year old daughters loved the activities throughout the weekend! As always this campground was clean, friendly and entertaining.

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!

The staff at KOA Mount Pleasant truly enjoy what they do! It shows in how you are treated and the thoughtful things they do to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. The sites are spacious, clean and beautiful. The facilities are clean and well kept and fully stocked. Thanks for another enjoyable stay
