My wife and I have traveled to 38 states and stayed at many camp grounds, this is one of the best. Friendly staff, very clean and well laid out with lots of amenities for everyone. The Wi-Fi signal was strong enough to run our fire stick. KOA have really improved over the years and this site convinced us to become members. We will be coming back next year. Thankyou to all the staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful campground. When we needed to change our plans because of weather and extend our stay, the staff went above and beyond in expressing their hospitality. This is a well managed and well manicured KOA and we will plan to stay here again when we’re in this area.

This campground has got to be one of finest KOA’s around. We’ve stayed at over 80 KOA’s and this one is near the top.

Great location the addition of hunts brothers pizza is great campground is cleaned well maintained staff are helpful the fall, Halloween decorations are really fun add a nice touch Have stayed at this location several times always welcoming

We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were there so we did not get to use some of the amenities, but we will be back. Very happy with the campground, cleanliness, quietness, and helpful staff.

The campground layout is very well designed. The only problem is lighting at night. We had a hard time finding our camper.

I'm still confused why I was charged different rates? I was told it was because Monday, October 6, 2025 was a holiday. According to my research, Monday was not a holiday. I also, confirmed with the office I would not be staying the last night but, might be a few minutes late leaving the site as I was waiting for my Fiance' to arrive from the airport. I was told "no problem", then at 12:10

A terrific Camp, a great location with a staff that is awesome. Our situation changed 2X and even with a loaded down campground, they accommodated us with a smile and a cheerful attitude. We will be back!

Of all the campgrounds we stayed at this one is super. Level pad for the camper and a happy staff to guide us. Large camp sites with lots of room, great axcess out to the highway. If you like seafood this is the place to be. Short drive to Charleston sites and more good dining; it's a must to visit the Yorktown aircraft carrier.

The campground was clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a pizza oven and will deliver the pizza to your camp site.

We had a great time at the Mount Pleasant KOA. The staff was amazing and the property was beautiful. We will definitely be back.

KOA itself was fantastic. But will never return nor recommend. Answered call from Lisa when I didn’t pick up after my dog immediately at our site as I went in to change and get dog bag after just waking up. I know now that’s a rule. I won’t make that mistake again. My young boys heard her hatefully say “My staff saw your dog take a SH**!!! and you not pick it up.” Ruined my day. Kindness

Just got back from our annual stay at this KOA. Wonderful facility with plenty to do in the surrounding area and just about a 20 minute drive to Shem Creek and Charleston historic district. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and They just started serving Hunt's brother pizza and we were lucky enough to get free samples and it was surprisingly good. Highly recommend this KOA �

This was our first time camping. The staff at Mount Pleasant were absolutely wonderful! This was a perfect location to visit Charleston and the ocean! Mt Pleasant was beautiful and so many things are close to the campground. We fished at the campground lake and you do not need an in state fishing license. We also enjoyed the trail. It was very quiet so we were able to get great sleep.

This is a well kept campground that is beautifully landscaped and manicured. The hosts are over-the-top in customer care and appreciation.

Services are welcome and staff is friendly and helpful. However, ATT cell service is barely operational and the campground WiFi is sub-par. Yes, realize you could pay for better WiFi. Better WiFi to make a phone call shouldn’t be a requirement.

The staff were very helpful, friendly, and polite. The campground was very clean and we loved the services (bath house, laundry room, store, etc.). We plan on visiting Charleston again and will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic. We were not completely satisfied with our initial RV location. The office personnel told us that they had had some cancellations due to the weather forecast. They moved us to site #65 for our final three days. The site was terrific. One of the best ever. Nice layout and relaxing view of the lake. Our special shout out to Courtney and Will. They were very helpful and cheerful.

We stayed from 26 sept. - 03 October. Easy enter/exit. Sign is very visible. Spots are shaded and easy to hook into. Roads in some spots a little tight for a larger RV. The grounds are well kept. Staff is amazing. Special shout out to Will for a insightful tour of the oak plantation. Walking the nature trail is a must. Pre planned activities were scheduled almost everyday. Excellent place to stay.

Location for us was perfect. Staff were pleasant and informative. Free tour of Plantation was very special and unexpected. Grounds were well maintained. Greeting and escorting after dark was awesome.

It was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are nice with a beautiful lake. There are trails for nice walks. Pets are welcome. They text you about events for the day or other helpful info. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit.

Enjoy this day site was very nice B1. The alligators in the lake were tiny and did not come out onto the property so made me feel safe with the dogs. Only recommendation is that they would have golf carts since dog park is on all the way on the other side of the lake and I’m handicapped I did end up renting one from a local Place.

Wonderful stay! Friends told us to ensure we stayed here when visiting Charleston and it did not disappoint. One of the best KOAs I've seen. Beautiful campground, very well taken care of, and excellent location. Our trip started out a little stressful (tire issue on our class A motorhome), but Anita was so helpful when I called to give them a heads up that she quickly put my mind at ease. We were shown to our site when we arrived and quickly settled in. So much to see and do here. Music and entertainment down by the lake, walking trails, and kids seemed to always be enjoying themselves. Amazed they had pizza on site (all day), and even delivered it to your site. Staff here really make this campground a success!! Shout-out to Anita, Samantha, and Jenny in the office. Everytime I stopped by to shop for my favorite IBC root beer, they were always super friendly, courteous and made you feel like family. Although all the employees we met were wonderful, I do want to especially mention "Chris" by name. He was always about cleaning up, looking out for the wildlife, and always willing to help. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fawn and Doe sighting Chris shared. How could you not love this place?! Thank-you to all for a true South Carolina southern hospitality experience. With respect, Jacquelyn

This is a wonderful RV park with cabins and beautiful campsites. It is located about 20 min outside Charleston and Isle of palms beach. Staff was great and we're very friendly. Bath house was clean and had large handicap showers and toilets. So much to do here with the swimming pool and boating on the lake. Also had kids crafts and things every day for them in the rec hall. Really enjoyed my stay here with 6 of us in our RV.
