Every worker was super nice, looking forward to the pools/splashpad being finished! Also the tie die shirts and Count Wackula Magic show were so fun!

The park was beautiful and had great weather at day time. However---our site didnt have electric working. We had a group of 20 people on 4 sites, one of our members with 3 small children had to go home at night because the electric wouldn't stay on. There was plenty for the kids to do but the activities was timed at the same time in different locations so not every child was able to enjoy

We've come with a group for 23 years.This will be the last time. The camp was money hungry. The bands were a hassle specially keeping them on three kids (our youngest is 4.golf course was run down. Glow ride we were rushed & so tight I couldn't put my arms down. I had a worker pull to my site in a car cuz of wood in my mans truck. he works at a lumber yard, not burning it, no fire. Unfortunate tbh

If I am allowed to say what an amazing time. The staff was friendly and was on the spot for any needs we had. This was over the Halloween weekend and my wife and I were so impressed with the activities for everyone. I’m excited for this campground to have the water (pool) area expanded.

It was a big weekend for the campground with Halloween. A little too much late partying around us. Our site was tight but worked out okay. Had fun handing out candy to trick or treaters. They have a big construction project going but it didnt interfere with our stay. Our main complaint was too much pot smoking going on around us. Understand it's legal but don't like the smell. Super friendly staff

I found the "full time, permanent" campers at the entrance to this KOA a bit disturbing. With all the bicycles, grills, lawn chairs outside looked like a yard sale. It looks like a ghetto. I had my concerns for safety. This is a bad reflection on your KOA. I would think you would prefer to attract campers instead of putting these trashy campers right up front and center.

The recent changes to this KOA location is not suitable for families. You can now only have a maximum of 6 people per campsite, including guests. Our camper sleeps 10. We also have 4 children of our own. So my children are unable to even bring a friend now when we camp here. We have a large group of people that camp here every year for Halloween weekends and we will now be looking elsewhere.

Not a fan of the new management. She drives an enforcer car around with police color lights, yells at guests for having their own wood which is a new thing since she has taken over. The whole wristband thing is ridiculous. We pay too much money to stay and have to worry about having this thing on to do the events. Team members walked around during trick or treating yelling a people on the bikes.

Dont like Halloween weekends limit of 6. Charge $20 for extra people(?) And site winners should get option to renew that site for next year b4 they leave. Had a blast. Thank you!!

had a great time as always but the c ampground needs to do more about inconsiderate a holes that raise all kinds of noise till 3 am. Someone needs to patrol the campground and get these people to stop.

Got rid of day passes, making it difficult to have visitors as they were turned away. This was NOT communicated when I called to ask about visitors, just a week prior. I was only told they don't charge by person, its just 5$ a car now.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The park is clean and tidy. The Halloween events they hosted were great. The bathroom facilities were also good and sanitary. My only complaint is the sites; some are in awkward positions or orientations, or quite uneven. The placement of some of the electrical boxes can be a bit weird. But otherwise it was a great stay, we plan on returning.

The women staff members were pretty rude. Obsessing over wrist bands was extremely annoying. This is the first KOA we’ve had issues with family visiting for a fire. I understand not bringing them for events that are free to guests. Also the sites are crazy tight. Wouldn’t recommend staying again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else going.

We stayed in the back corner, sites 176 to 178b. Same sites for quite a few years now. It has gone from just 4 of us up to 23 people converging as a unit. Lots of fun. Planning the same for next year

Monroe KOA is a nice campground and the trees give a great atmosphere. However, the pricing for what you get is currently high. Once the water park/pools are complete it will feel more fair. At the 80ish/night range I would have expected nicer bathrooms also. Thank you for all of the kids activities. The kids really enjoyed the face-painting and I really appreciated that it was free!

Stay was good, daytime trick or treating no fun. Having everything done before dark takes away the sook and fright of trick or treating. Can see light up displays. Miss the days when it starred at 7pm

Significant sewer and/or sulfur smell at some of the sites. Manager was unable to diagnose. Like this camground a lot! Waiting for all of the contruction to be completed - supposedly by the 2026 summer season. Time will tell! Current spots are pretty tight for RV's. Campground does an EXCELLENT job with the "halloween" camping weekends!!

While we had a great time, we just didn't have much room at our site. When we first arrived our neighbor was pretty much parked on top of our firepit. Our kids had fun and loved the haunted house and trick or treating. Can't wait for the pools to be done!!

Our family had a blast. Hope to do another halloween weekend again next year. But i will make sure i do not get the same site. Our site was the smallest site we've ever stayed on. I don't even know how it's considered a site.

There was a lot to do which is really nice for the kids and they had fun. What I do not like is the new policy of not allowing visitors. I don't get why they can no longer come and visit during the day and stay for trick or treating and then go home.

Halloween weekend! Had fun, haven't been here for the Halloween weekend in about 5 years and it was fun. They took a lot of time and effort into the haunted house, the haunted wagon ride seemed very blah (no music playing, just riding around the campground). Trick or treating from 5-7 is too early. Store was well stocked and employees friendly. Bathroom in back very clean! Campground quiet.

It was awesome! Needed a safe quite place to spend the night as we were passing through. We loved the price! We did not hook up to anything or put our bump outs out, we just pulled in at 4pm, left by 9am, a great night of sleep! Thanks so much! Have recommended your KOA to our travel groups! KOA's could make a bundle on a travel rental spot, no extras just parking spots! $25 a night.

We always have a good time at the KOA Monroe. Staff has come to know us and we enjoy the Halloween weekends. That being said. Four stars because quite honestly construction is downing the entire park. It's been a long time and it just seems to be stuck in the mud. side improvements have not been done either. Putt putt. Game room. without these. It's field camping. We love halloween here guys

I have come here for many years and I enjoy it. It was some small issues with the staff and I realize the text messaging is a new way to go, but I do miss out on the announcements over the PA system.

we have been Halloween camping here for several years... I feel returning campers should be able to reserve their sites for the following year during their stay instead of having to be on the computer at midnight every November 1st for the following year. WE stayed on site 71A for the second or third year and lost power both years and water this year (not for long periods of time but 2-3 times) .

I rated top ratings because we really enjoy the Halloween weekend we just attended. Only disappointment was loosing water when we needed to shower 3 adults and 2 children. But we made it work and water was eventually restored. We will definitely be back next year.

This is the 2nd year in a row that we went and the power kept going out. It was 85 degrees and the electricity kept blowing. Then, the we lost water multiple times throughout the day, what a pain! They charge too much $ for that to happen

Water pressure was in and out. Campsite was over run with tree roots and had two fire pit holes to avoid on top of that. The PA system is no longer used to announce events or winners; just took the excitement out of it for us. You have to walk 1/4 mile to get to the events. Wanted to share the fun we had in the past with our grandson left disappointed. Might as well go to a state park.

The staff is excellent so friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing definitely will be going back. They have did so many improvements. We back with Koa regularly and I must say the employees at this location went above and beyond.
