Great stay! Super helpful staff at check in desk. Only odd thing was our fire pit was dug about 2.5 feet below ground which actually made it hard to get warm from it and tend to it. If it were filled in about a foot or so that would be great. Will stay here again �

It was a beautiful park with lots of amenities. It wasn’t too busy as it was early in the season. We wish we had a better site because it was pouring rain and we had a lower site and there was a huge puddle all around us in the morning.

We arrived after hours .. most KOA have a box to pick up map and site info,it took a minute to realize it was in the telephone booth, should be more visible

Campground was pretty run down. Not all advertised amenities were available. Cabins are *extremely, uncomfortably close together. Cabin kitchen is stocked with bare bones minimum. And for $299/night, I DO NOT expect to have to wash/dry/put away all dishes, clean kitchen, bathroom and sweep the floors. Definitely not worth the cost. Staff members were friendly.

Was early in the season to give accurate review. Season stated opening day of April15, 2024. Im guessing they were open for the eclipse 2024, which was awesome. Overall stay was nice. Will return once fully opened for the season.

The cabin on the inside was nice ! The people working there wete great! The park itself was degrading and in serious Need of repair and upkeep ! It was early in the season so maybe that was the issue.

Your staff was very friendly but you opened up early and the park wasn’t ready. We requested 30 amp full hookup and got it! In the muddy sites. We had to move to a second site that was still muddy. Why weren’t we offered the chance to move to dry sites in the back of the park? We didn’t discover those sites till a late evening walk. We would have paid for the upgrade. Park need’s improveme

recreational lake drained and under construction. Cabin party group was much louder than the din of the expressway traffic and lasted until almost 2 AM. there was large roll off dumpsters filled with mountains of unsightly and odorous trash. the restroom facilities were not maintained. And, much more. I, nor anyone I may influence will never stay there again. I would be happy with a full refund.

Our stay was great but maybe look into helping level the campsites when there’s been a heavy rainfall. Our campsite had a good size rut right by the road and it made hooking the camper up to leave a little difficult. The activities were a huge hit and our kids had a blast going to the different things planned during the Halloween weekend.

Annual family camping trip to the Koa Monroe/Petersburg. Great spot for spending Halloween weekend with our extended family. Plenty to keep the kids busy. We especially like that the whole campground is closed to vehicle traffic during the designated trick or treating hours.

They price gouge you for everything per person per night, per car per night, per dog per night, then charge a resort fee per night. Staff is unapproachable and rude. I’ve been camping here for years and will never return! Far from other KOA resorts.

This is our third year coming to Halloween weekend. Our "Boo Crew" group had a blast and can't wait to reserve our spots for next year!

we always enjoy coming and have a good time the only thing id like to see different is the itinery posted or emailed to the people that have resevations as we like to do all the halloween activities and were not use to some being held on friday now, Miss the hay ride, cider and donuts as well

I think the contests need to be judged a different way. Having teens judge family and young kids didn't seem like it was the best ideas. Maybe go back to the applause or have adults do the judging. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. See you next year.

I was charged for more pets and children than I actually had. These new charges are ridiculous for such a small campsite. Site 58. Trash was not picked up. Bathrooms by the office only one stall worked. Also disgusting. Poorly kept. I won’t be back. Place has gone way downhill.

We got a treehouse. It was very dirty. It smelled like urine. The porch light didn’t work. I scrubbed the Walls’s and floor where the smell was for over an hour to rid of the odor. There were squished bugs all over the ceiling. Our TV didn’t connect to WiFi and had no channels. We also couldn’t connect to the WiFi. We had a pull through site booked in advance. However because we were next to the electrical box which had a fence around it were could not pull through to leave but had to back up. Disappointing. Additionally the wifi was terrible.

We enjoy seeing the children in costumes. We hade alot of fun camping and all the people working there were great .

Camp site tables and fire pits were all scattered everywhere couldn't tell which store was which store was very small and compacted with other stores almost overlapping in tent/camper area all activities for happening were more for summer activities. I had a reservation and after arriving my bill went up over thirty dollars come to find out I was being charged per kid per day which is ridiculous.

This camp ground costs the same as some Resort KOAs, but offer less. No trash pickup, you have to pack all of your linens and towels. Then they ask you to clean all dishes, shower, toilet and counters but provide nothing to clean with, not even a dish sponge. I'm not packing my own cleaning supplies on top of everything else.

the loft we stayed in was not worth the price, we had no heat the first night, and you can hear every person underneath using the restrooms, so dont expect getting sleep. The beds also are so bad! not even a stove to cook,,and overall just run down. They also charged a guest coming in to stay with us that I had on the reservation already. I wouldn’t stay here again

What a great time and wonderful events! A few recommendations.. add another face painter, we waited two hours in line! I would suggest moving the trick or treating from 6-8 so it still provides daylight, which was great, but will also provide some dark so it gives the sites a fair option for people to vote as most of the sites are planned in advance for "night time" themes and voting. Great time!

I've been coming to the campground for 22 years. Sad to say but everything is going down hill. No hayrides, no basketball tourney, no apple cider and doughnuts for kids, no Halloween party for kids, golf was in terrible condition. Sad because we come almost every year. Then each person to visit was charged 10 a person..way to pricey. Hopefully you make updates soon!

It was the worst camping experience I’ve ever had. I have no plans on ever coming back again. The bathrooms were not clean like should be and have to take your garbage to the dumpster yourself never heard of in a koa. All site should be 30 amp. And to share the power between two sites is not responsible. What your browser says things you have you do not. The service is not there. It sucked

We were only there over night. I found a lot of candy wrappers and even some candy on the ground which was a problem because I was walking my dog and didn’t want her picking up the trash on the ground. I realize it is Halloween season, but i would have expected the area to have been policed better.

My family and I was very disappointed with our stay. We have been coming to your campground for over 20 years. It looks exactly the same no updates have been made. The putt putt area is so outdated and in such poor shape. The arcade is just so outdated and nasty. I can’t believe it’s even open still. What can I say.... It rained everyday, but we still had a great stay as usual. The trick or treaters got to collect their candy without getting soaked as we had a little break from the rain. We have been coming to Monroe co. KOA for over 30 years now, and just love the atmosphere and the staff. Thanks for another stay

The putt putt tournament was canceled because it had rained the night before and hole #2 was flooded. My boys cleaned up the course and unflooded the hole in about 5 minutes. It was not raining for 2 hours that the tournament was supposed to be going on but they canceled it anyway. It was drizzly when dodgeball came around, but it's fall camping! I feel the staff canceled all activities too early.

Had a great stay. Went for Halloween Weekend. Dont understand how Dog costume contest get camping vouchers for the 1st thru 3rd prize. But kids only get a bag of candy not even a 2nd or 3rd place ribbon. Been coming here for years and this is the first time they dis this. Kinda bullcrap if you ask me, since the kids get candy anyways. Port Huron gave them a gift card to use in the store and ribbon

There is really some updates needed, bathrooms, showers, grounds, putt putt golf that’s just to name a few. A lot is needed here. You charge more but things are getting worse each year. We have been coming here for 10+ years. Very disappointed

Had fun but my favorite part of the trip was the fishing. I caught so many 3-6 pound catfish. It was an awesome experience
