Wish there were a few more activities for the kids to do in addition to the water venues and the bikes. But enjoyed our stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and eager to help and lots of activities for the kids. It was disappointing to get there and realize there was no swimming located at the park, we had not been told when we booked. The washrooms near the cabins need some major repair and cleaning. I understand they are under repair and a remodel, however the washroom repairs would be an easy fix in the interim.

We were a bit disappointed in the campground based on the fact that we were expecting typical KOA Holiday quality. Roads needed gravel, layout in our particular area felt more like an old run down trailer park rather than an RV park of the KOA HOLIDAY level. We did however read that their are improvements coming and would take a look again after construction.

We checked in for one night and arrived at about 6:30pm. We knew the office would be closed, but we were not aware that everything in the KOA would close at 6pm. We couldn’t enjoy the water slide, any of the sporting activities where they supplied the equipment, or even buy firewood for roasting marshmallows. Even the times online said 8am to 10pm. A complete disappointment in this KOA.

This is a KOA journey, but we only stayed for one night on our way home. Provision before you arrive because there’s nothing for miles around. Full hookups were great including cable. The grounds are beautiful. The washroom/showers could be updated. Campground was pretty empty and nothing was open when we arrived after 6.

Everything closes early. Store and slide Is closed by 6. I was packing up and leaving and for some reason it was important to mow around our camper first. Acres of grass to mow, but ours was most important to mow around. Brushed grass clumps off of camper and truck for rest of trip. On a positive note the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly when we checked in.

It was nice after we left the east koa who had elec issues at the whole area our site was and unfriendly service. The lady at the desk here at the north koa I give kiddos too. She really helped. But our site was right across the laundry which was quite busy. It’s a pretty big koa But overall it was an ok over nighter.

There is nothing for adults to do , no pool, no swimming in 90 degree heat I'm 60 and not going to stand in line to go down a water slide. Check in older gentlemen was very rude to my aunt. They have been coming to Monroe KOA for 35 years but now looking to have family camping weekend elsewhere. They closed waterside in 90 degree heat and a child who apparently lives there climbs up the slide ba

It was just an overnight stay and the site we were given was too tight for us to get into. They gave us a larger site. The staff was very accommodating. We were very appreciative of the quick response to our request. My only complaint is that their Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded, but that is true with a lot of campgrounds. The campground looks to be very clean and well maintained.

Site doesn’t tell you nothing open during week. Site tells all these things to do no times listed. We get there like a ghost town nothing happing. Very boring free golf is only free because it’s terrible. Ferns are ripped.

Over priced for mediocre park. Air matreses being filled at 11:30 PM. Everything needs updated. Broken chair on site and filthy rable.At least staff is very good.

Nice campground. Easy access from highway 23 and the staff were great. We had a breaker issue on our pedestal and they were on it. Had it changed and everything was great in 15-20 minutes after the call. The best experience!!!

We have been going here every year for the last 12 years. I know things have changed since not having the swimming pond and I have to say it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as clean as usual..we had a big dead squirrel in our lot which had been there for a few days. Toilets were broken. Trash on the grounds. Just not the same KOA I'm use too. I hope it gets better again soon!

Office/store staff were great. Sites have very little grass and roads are very dusty, could benefit from more stone. The facilities were good but nothing made me think this place is great.

I was directed to my campsite by the hostess which was impossible to turn my 33 ft trailer into my assigned site Usually all koa campgrounds I’ve been to have a guide to direct me but not this one

Quiet place but not much to do for our kids. During the week the only thing open was the store until 6 and the waterslide between 2-6. We had to drive to a town to find ice cream and activities. It has potential! Hopefully when it’s redone we can make another visit.

We use this campground as a waypoint on our way to and from our daughters so it is only an overnight for us. The campground is very clean and the staff was super nice and helpful.

Well first off no golf carts allowed, that's a strike in my book. Second the whole campground looked nothing like the website. Our site was ok, no shade, but atleast the firepits are better than most. Very uneven ground..alot of tree roots sticking up and a lot of divets all over our site.lucky no one got hurt. Overall quiet, and clean restrooms. Don't see us returning to this site...

I have heard a lot about how KOA is a poor man's campsite, etc. Lots of people warned me about staying at a KOA. The location in Monroe was pleasantly excellent! Great facilities, a very good campsite with good shade, and a fully stocked camp store with helpful and eager employees. I will highly consider coming back to Monroe KOA or another KOA when I camp once again.

One of the worst KOAs we have ever stayed at. Sites were terribly unlevel- causing some issues with our Lippert slide on our 2022 Montana Legacy. We are having to have a mobile rv tech come to us to repel air before we continue on our travels. Staff was not very cheerful or helpful. We were assessed extra pets fees that other KOAs had not charged us. Some of the sites were tight for a 42 ft rig.

The individual campsite itself was good. The bathrooms were clean. But the rest of the campground & amenities seem to be in some form of disrepair. The putt-putt golf is falling apart and dirty. And there’s just nothing to do aside from the slide.

We stayed a week and only used the dog park once because there was so much poo, it was disgusting. The site length was great but the width... I felt like my neighbors were on top of me and their sewer right in my face. It was quiet during the week but once Thursday and Friday came, that peacefulness was lost. Staff need to lighten up a bit, smile, and get to know your guests.

Overnight stop and the campground was great. Plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. Pull through sites will require most big rig towing owners to disconnect their toad due to length limitations. Staff was very knowledgeable so just ask when making your reservation. Definitely worth the extra effort.

The staff is excellent so friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing definitely will be going back. They have did so many improvements. We back with Koa regularly and I must say the employees at this location went above and beyond.
