We had an absolute blast. They only thing missing was a pool but other then that it was amazing.

"Deluxe" Cabin was an absolute dump. Air Conditioner wasn't working, bed frame was totally jacked up. Miserable 2 nights. Unfortunately, all the local hotels were booked, otherwise we would have left.

The camp workers were very helpful and kind. The showers were very clean. The water slide water was nice. The cabin we stayed in was clean inside. Now for the issues. Online it said there was swimming. It was in the 90’s when we came. There is NO swimming. We had to drive 30 minutes to swim. The entry of our cabin was full of spiderwebs. Bathrooms by cabins were gross. Park was worn down.

I booked a tent site during a heat wave and after 2 days the campground was kind enough to allow me to upgrade to a cabin with A.C. it was a pleasant experience

We had a great time while we were there. I will say dur the week, there was little to do, but we made our own fun. Thursday night of our stay we had 2 hours of rain, so planned on going into the arcade during that time. We had confirmed what time they were open till..8 o'clock. We showed up at 6:48, and the worker wouldn't let us in cause he already had mopped, then rushed up through our shopping.

They advertised on website that they had swimming pond. Children were very disappointed and water slide ran slow. Would give another KOA a try possibly

My husband &I had a weekend getaway. We used a sleeping cabin with a bathroom included. It's perfect for us. Everything was perfect. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Campgrounds are well kept and super kid friendly.

Bed was uncomfortable compared to other koa deluxe cabins didn’t like that there was another cabin attached to ours tv didn’t work complained several times about it but I will give a huge thanks to Lee who did fix it the day before we left. Will NOT be staying there ever again!

If I could give this KOA zero stars, I would! I cannot even believe how much they are charging for their lodges that are in complete disrepair and should be torn down. The entire campground was horribly maintained - grass waist high, paint peeling, benches covered in mildew, shower covered in mold, water trickling out of faucets, roads covered in potholes and zero amenities.

I made reservations back in January for the Mother's Day weekend annual event. Upon arrival, I was told they were no longer honoring that offer (second day $20). I was charged $220, an extra $200. The offer still appeared on your website. I felt I was deceived and it was a form of false advertising. The customer service was rude and said they can choose what offers to honor. I will never return.

Very run down overall. When we first pulled in the put put golf had weeds to my waist. Benches covered in mildew. Grass uncut. Fences falling down. Playground paint chipping. Roads covered in large potholes and huge puddles. Just felt like nobody cared about the overall look of the campground or maintenance.

They only had one employee covering the camp office/store, and if they stepped away, the door would be locked with no sign to indicate that they stepped out or when they would be back. There was water everywhere so our site and the entire campground was difficult to walk around. The tap water in our cabin smelled like sulfur. The sites are way too close together.

Campground was pretty run down. Not all advertised amenities were available. Cabins are *extremely, uncomfortably close together. Cabin kitchen is stocked with bare bones minimum. And for $299/night, I DO NOT expect to have to wash/dry/put away all dishes, clean kitchen, bathroom and sweep the floors. Definitely not worth the cost. Staff members were friendly.

Was early in the season to give accurate review. Season stated opening day of April15, 2024. Im guessing they were open for the eclipse 2024, which was awesome. Overall stay was nice. Will return once fully opened for the season.

The cabin on the inside was nice ! The people working there wete great! The park itself was degrading and in serious Need of repair and upkeep ! It was early in the season so maybe that was the issue.

Annual family camping trip to the Koa Monroe/Petersburg. Great spot for spending Halloween weekend with our extended family. Plenty to keep the kids busy. We especially like that the whole campground is closed to vehicle traffic during the designated trick or treating hours.

we always enjoy coming and have a good time the only thing id like to see different is the itinery posted or emailed to the people that have resevations as we like to do all the halloween activities and were not use to some being held on friday now, Miss the hay ride, cider and donuts as well

We got a treehouse. It was very dirty. It smelled like urine. The porch light didn’t work. I scrubbed the Walls’s and floor where the smell was for over an hour to rid of the odor. There were squished bugs all over the ceiling. Our TV didn’t connect to WiFi and had no channels. We also couldn’t connect to the WiFi. This camp ground costs the same as some Resort KOAs, but offer less. No trash pickup, you have to pack all of your linens and towels. Then they ask you to clean all dishes, shower, toilet and counters but provide nothing to clean with, not even a dish sponge. I'm not packing my own cleaning supplies on top of everything else.

the loft we stayed in was not worth the price, we had no heat the first night, and you can hear every person underneath using the restrooms, so dont expect getting sleep. The beds also are so bad! not even a stove to cook,,and overall just run down. They also charged a guest coming in to stay with us that I had on the reservation already. I wouldn’t stay here again

What a great time and wonderful events! A few recommendations.. add another face painter, we waited two hours in line! I would suggest moving the trick or treating from 6-8 so it still provides daylight, which was great, but will also provide some dark so it gives the sites a fair option for people to vote as most of the sites are planned in advance for "night time" themes and voting. Great time!

My family and I was very disappointed with our stay. We have been coming to your campground for over 20 years. It looks exactly the same no updates have been made. The putt putt area is so outdated and in such poor shape. The arcade is just so outdated and nasty. I can’t believe it’s even open still. Had a great stay. Went for Halloween Weekend. Dont understand how Dog costume contest get camping vouchers for the 1st thru 3rd prize. But kids only get a bag of candy not even a 2nd or 3rd place ribbon. Been coming here for years and this is the first time they dis this. Kinda bullcrap if you ask me, since the kids get candy anyways. Port Huron gave them a gift card to use in the store and ribbon

There is really some updates needed, bathrooms, showers, grounds, putt putt golf that’s just to name a few. A lot is needed here. You charge more but things are getting worse each year. We have been coming here for 10+ years. Very disappointed

Booked two cabins under the same name and I went to check in both cabins were on different sides of the camp ground. Told we must pay to lock a certain cabin in. We didn’t need specific cabins, we just wanted them next to each other. Was told they were all sold out all weekend and nothing could be done. There was an empty cabin 1 away from the cabin all weekend.

The staff is excellent so friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing definitely will be going back. They have did so many improvements. We back with Koa regularly and I must say the employees at this location went above and beyond.
