Facilities and the cabin we had where run down. Myself I would demolish and replace that cabin. The first shower stall I tried wouldn't get hot enough to use. The second did, but it flooded the stall because the drain wasn't taking the water very good.

We were a little disappointed that there wasn't a kite and flight like they advertised. I also thought that there was a pool. It said that they were working on it - I didn't think it meant that there wasn't one. The waterslide was supposed to be available and we got ready to walk over, but one of the workers said it wouldn't be open. The kids liked the glow dance and the playground.

Lots of activities but we came for peace and quiet. Lovely old cabin but water tasted horrible. Overall for camping very nice.

Well I specifically wanted a cabin with air conditioning, cable TV and a full bath and kitchen the TV signal was horrible in out the whole time and waking up to no water in the morning which meant no coffee, no shower, no bathroom, no breakfast what was the purpose of paying for the amenities when you can't use them wasn't even offered a discount

Best Campground I’ve ever been to by far, friendly and professional staff a joy to be around. The KOA Management was also very helpful I was personally helped on several occasions. I stayed in the Deluxe Lodge and the amenities were amazing, anything you’d need to have a great time camping. The best part was the Fishing Pond and complementary Mini Golf!

Not prepared at all for the premium price you charged us. Cabin was moldy smelling, dirty, mattresses have stains and dirt fridge was filthy, fire pit was dismembered, advertised big weekend and the things offered were not prepared. Store closed without hours on door, hot water in bathrooms were super cold. All over super let down and we stay every year on the same weekend.

Overall KOA very rundown/not well maintained. Our first cabin was just gross. In addition AC was duct taped into the window, lights wouldn’t work, there was a queen sized stained mattress on a full size frame/spring, and bathroom was advertised as full bathroom but had no sink. We spent an extra $200 for another cabin which was better but still not great. Would not recommend. .

We love KOA. However, the gender neutral bathrooms are disappointing. The costume contest should not be voted on by the young staff, perhaps a crowd vote would be better, they chose inappropriate costumes, like drag, when there were many friendly costumes much more suited for "family". Trick or treat just wasn't the same this year having it during the daylight. Previous years we've been there, 6-8:00 was a perfect time. The first hour was daylight and second hour was dusk/dark. It's hard to enjoy all the work campers put into decorating their sites when you're walking around during the day light. Maybe that's why there were no haunted walk thru sites this year, just not the same

We come every year for halloween because it's close to home. We go to other KOAs in the summer. For the same nightly price, many other KOAs offer the same amenities, plus linens and towels are provided, trash pickup at campsite, delivery of items like ice direct to campsite and more. I feel either more should be offered or cabin rentals should cost less, then we would come in the summer too.

We have a 15 year tradition of staying at the Monroe site w family & friends. Most was great, just a few wrinkles with reservations and also restrooms not being supplied. With that in mind, we are hoping to upgrade and stay in fewer, but larger accommodations. Fingers crossed. We are excited to see the renovations and upgrades.

I visited during the Halloween season where I got to enjoy numerous activities during my stay in a well equipped cabin unit, i.e., T-Shirt dying, magician acts, face painting, costume contest, and pumpkin carving. My fondest memory was spending an evening with my family by an open fire sharing stories and laughs. Great memories, great staff, I would highly recommend to all camping enthusiast.

I came in Thursday. Wasn't happy about staff burning leaves right near my cabin. The cabin was stuffy, it would have been nice to open it up. Other than that staff was friendly had a good time. It was a little rough for sleeping on the bed. I'm a heavy person felt like I was sleeping on the ground. Will bring my own foam mattress next year.

Had a great experience, always do! Asst. manager was very helpful and able to rearrange things so our cabins were together. Staff has always been accommodating and friendly. Maintenance came quick and was polite/friendly. Thank you!!

The people (campers) and the staff were satisfactory, however there seems to be very little effort or maintenance put into the amenities. We stayed in the treehouse, & there were nails sticking out of places that could have injured my 2 year old. Not to mention, it's silly to have a TV in the cabin when the internet doesn't work. The same with the playground equipment. Not safe or maintained well.

Would not recommend. Brought up an issue that we had in our cabin, only to be laughed at by the staff. The issue was severe enough that my kids had difficulties sleeping and 3 of them piled into one bunk, while the other slept with me due to be scared to death over the writing on the bunks. The water also smelled like sewage, it was absolutely vile showering in it. Thankfully only a 1 night stay

Our group has been staying here the last 8 years. I reserve the same cabin and this year was $100 more per day. KOA Monroe does no maintenance in there. Every window blind was broken and the bed frame, box spring, and mattress was pathetic. I would be embarrassed to have someone pay $600+ to stay in this cabin. I do not plan to ever return.

Good customer service. Family friendly campground. The water started smelling our last day there when we washed our hands or took a shower in the cabin. The putt putt course could use updating.

We booked at midnight November 1st. A group of 9 families. Did not get to pick our cabin. We were all spread out. The point of camping as a group, is to be all together. HORRIBLE communication and customer service. I've been emailing and calling for 2 months, with ZERO response. We will not be coming back, nor recommend this place to anyone. Bathrooms were never cleaned the whole weekend! Disgusti

My family & I really enjoy our trips to KOA but it is expensive. I understand that the activities and all of that take money and they truly are great. I believe for what we pay to stay though we should get a little more, It rained all weekend we paid over $800 for a cabin and didn't have a covered porch so we could be outside still.

We have stayed here many times but this time my bill was messed up, power kept going out. When we arrived leaves were being burned in the streets, this should have been done earlier. Ashes were blowing everywhere. Would like to see mini golf redone and more updates. Liked a little later trick or treat time maybe 6-8 pm. My grandkids did have a fun time. Hopefully next year will be better �

We’ve been camping Halloween weekends since they started doing them! A little confusing for voting - I understand getting away from paper votes (saving trees). We figured it out. Love the 5-7 trick or treating time - daylight & safe. A bit old but the area is spacious and has many attractions. We started at a vacation rental and the amenity list was not correct. As an example, the amenity list included cooktop but the actual room didn’t have it. I even made a call to confirm before the arrival but I was told the room had a cooktop.

I signed up for a cabin and the person that I signed up with told me we had a fully loaded cabin. With bathrooms, coffee pots, microwaves and everything. We get there and we get this cabin that has nothing in it but beds and a small refrigerator. Ask them if we could upgrade and get the correct cabin. They said they were all sold out. I'm sure was just a misunderstanding. Love the wrestling!

Campground is aging however renovations are planned so thats not so much an issue i stayed in a treehouse cabin and the stairs where a bit unsafe when wet and railin was loose. Cabin had no celing fan, microwave, or mini fridge. Firepit was way to sunk into the ground had to drop wood into it which with a fire already going was decidedly unsafe. Hopefully this is all rectified with the renovations

i cannot wait for the improvements. i have been camping there for 50 years and i still a lot of improvements that are needed. Also, getting to be very expensive to camp with a family.

It was good. Until the person mowing the lawn my daughter and myself were cooking breakfast and he was mowing and not consideration kept going and not leaving. So we had blowing dust in our breakfast.

They have many wonderful activities! I have been coming here for years with my family. The campground really is looking run down and in dire need of upkeep and update. Dire need!

The staff is excellent so friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing definitely will be going back. They have did so many improvements. We back with Koa regularly and I must say the employees at this location went above and beyond.
