So much potential if a little more care was in place. We had a great check-in, Bob was wonderful. Had an issue and was moved no issues with the help from a staff member (didn't catch his name). Site could have been cleaner with just the use of a leaf blower. When sites change over, do more than just looking in the fire pit. Clean the bouncers,Enforce the rules..we look forward to a future stay.

There was a mishap on the waterslide that could’ve been prevented. On Friday my granddaughter was allowed to slide down by herself on Saturday that was not the case and they sent her back down the staircase however, I was at the end of the slide, waiting for her to come down. When she didn’t come down after a little while, I realized something was wrong. Call me for the rest of the details.

Love this campground. Been coming for 30 years. Love the cabins, dog park, everything is so nice. The new pools are fantastic. We love everything about it. Thanks for making it better and better.

Been going here for years but of course we miss the lake. Pool area was nice but please get some umbrellas for shade. Also my site was back by the building with the sewer smell. Has been like that for years isn't there anything that could be done about that. Basically was a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed there a yr ago and wasn't impressed, stayed there 7/12 - / 23 and what what a change the 2 new pools and splash pad are beautiful sites got a little bigger. The staff is very friendly park is very well maintained we will definitely be going back.

We’ve held our family reunion here for the last 6 years. We have cut back from a full week to a long weekend and still feel that’s the limit. Cabins need repairs, updates and, please, new mattresses. We prefer a natural environment but the opening of the pool areas has been a surprising addition. Cleaning and maintenance staff has improved but activities and its staff are still lacking.

The site I was given was horrible! Filled with huge tree stumps, uneven ground and the only spot where I could be level was 45ft from the power outlet. Mngmnt was unhelpful and condicending. The picnic table was rotted, but during my stay I noticed ALL the tables were.

Pool had late opening time due to an incident the evening before. It would have been nice to post that on the gate so people would have known. Both dump stations were too full to dump. Pool area was very nice and clean. The peddle boats could have been cleaner. We had a nice stay.

Misinformation from the worker ,we were told we were in the new part thinking there would be shade and there was not and we were told we were not be by the pool we were directly behind it noise and one night it was open until 11:00 and our spot was so small next to the next person their sewer line was pretty much right out our front door when we sat on our carpet and tried to move campsites there

The people that were watching the bottom of the water slide were on their phones 90% of the time not watching the kids that were going down the slide. Your check out time being 11am isn’t realistic. A lot of campgrounds we have stayed at checkout time is 1pm. Also the morning that we left the pool was closed for “maintenance”. If we would have known that we wouldn’t ha paid the $20 to stay

The only think missing was communication on Activities, and no activities being available during the week. We stayed Sunday to Saturday and didn't see any activities until we had just left the park. When we've stayed at other KOAs we've often bought shirts for tie dye or other things. Pool was a big A+!

We haven't stayed here for about 5 years, and was very pleased to see and enjoy their make over. Very nice, beautiful 2 new pools and splash pad. All inclusive amenities with armband, plus free pancake breakfast!

We absolutely loved the new pools. The swimming pond will always be missed, but I think the new pools are a great addition. I love all the tables available around the area to have lunch. I just hope the pools will continue to be well maintained and kept up. My family also used the waterslide while we were there and I do hope they clean that up a bit was definitely needing a good scrub down.

We had a fantastic stay!! The biggest highlights for us and the kids were the free pancakes, the kid's park, and most notably the pool! The camping was amazing, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and I was impressed with the reasonable prices of food and provisions. My only issue was that the bathrooms were a little less clean than I would have liked. Awesome place!!!

The Monroe KOA is very nice. Suggestions we would make - Add some tables with umbrellas in the pool areas with music for all to enjoy. Add a bell or siren when the big bucket is going to dump in the splash area so the little ones or their parents are aware so no one gets hurt. Great amenities and a great stay. Thank you

Checking in was easy and the person helping us was pleasant. We loved all the trees around the campgrounds. When we pulled into our site and set up, we noticed there was a lot of trash on the ground that had been there a long time. Wrappers, bread tie clips from loaves of bread, cigarette butts, black dog waste bag, toilet paper, etc,. and our picnic table was in bad condition. Pools were A++

We really enjoyed our weekend camping there. The only issue was trying to sign on to the wifi in the evenings so our grandson could use his tablet. The only time he asked for it the entire time!! He had a blast.

Our grill wasn't working and it took about 30-40 minutes to get it switched to another grill. It wasn't a huge deal, but it did delay us getting our kids fed. The remote to the tv didnt work. I asked for another trash bag, but was never given one.I also think a lot of the furniture in the cabin should be replaced. The sofa arm chairs are worn out. The staff was nice, but things weren't the best

Nice new amenities and a stocked store that was really nice! The location of our site was amazing but the site configuration was AWFUL. Our sewer drain was right next to our neighbors fire pit ring. If they had chairs around the fire, we’d basically be dumping right behind their chairs, pretty gross.

Some of the staff were very rude, one cheated at a kids game to have her son win, concession stand was out of a lot, and the whole wristband thing is out of control. My sons slipped off during a bike ride, he couldn’t find it and they refused to replace it, telling him he couldn’t swim or do any activities without it.

Enjoyed the pool, splash pad and playground. Kids had fun making tie died t-shirts. It was nice to have firewood delivered to the site. We enjoyed ice cream at the Big Kahuna. The store was great.

Had a strange encounter at first upon arriving with the reservation. First, not told there would be an additional charge of $5 to park. Second, the lady said they were booked up and, even though I had a reservation, she acted like they couldn't help me. It wasn't until I told her we stayed here last year that she was suddenly nice. How weird! She was very nice after that for our entire stay.

Campground was very quite. A number of the Women's stalls in bathroom by the campground store were out of order as well as the showers in the men's room. The adult pool was nice, but a lot of kids as well as adults were jumping in the pool and causing excessive splashing and almost jumping into other bathers.. Someone is going to eventually get hurt if this behavior keeps up.

Got the small cabin fir the KOA Trick or Trick event. Free pan cakes Saturday morning. Lots if activities for kids.

Staff was amazing! Grounds and facilities were very clean. We have been a few times in less than 6 weeks, still the same great experience! Already have 4 more trips booked!
