Pools and splash pad are nice. The playground equipment is filthy and old, they need power washed. The jumping pillows are dirty and screens are ripped and a child could fall out, picnic tables at snack shack were dirty and need painted. Most picnic tables in the park also need painted or repaired. Your workers should obey 5mph on golf carts and especially the one on the electric scooter.

The facilities seemed clean and the workers were friendly. The pool and splash pad were nice, but it would've been nice to have been able to use the water slide (we arrived just after 6). However, the water stunk like sulfur and the merry-go-round sounded like an emergency siren. The price was great and our little cabin was nice.

Parking was a mess. Felt like we were in the middle of a group camp site. Tent sites across the road were allowed to hover their sleeping tents around multiple canopies used for group meals. We were squeezed onto a smaller lot (back of the park... with a 30' trailer). Internet access was totally inadequate... most I got online was about 10 minutes just before we left.

Campground is tired. Dirt and dust abound. Nothing stands out as special about this campground.

The campgrounds are nice and the renovations are looking really good. We've been full time RV's for over 6 years now using KOA campgrounds as we travel around. This is the first time we have been charged for having pets with us. If it was a minimal amount I could see it with the renovations going on but $5 a day PER pet is a bit excessive. We have 4 small dogs and stayed 3 nights, $60.

When we first arrived it was after the holiday weekend. only one stall worked in the ladies room. In the men's room one of the toilets was stuffed with tp. Took showers and they overflowed. 2 out of 8 dryers worked. Some people are so disrespectful at times. We began to worry. After bringing everything to the parks attention everything was fixed right away. Our stay ended up wonderful. GREAT s

We had fun, there was a lot to do. The pools were nice. The deluxe cabin is not big enough for 8 like the website says, luckily 2 of us live 20 min away so we drove home each night. Easy on, easy off the highway. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grandkids enjoyed the fishing pond and the pool. Facilities are very well maintained.

LOVED the pools and splashpad! THE STAFF WAS GREAT, but the sites are too close together for our comfort, and there was a terrible sulphur or sewer gas smell near our site. Otherwise it is a great KOA.

We stayed for 5 nights just after Memorial Day weekend! Deluxe site was spacious enough for our 45ft fifth wheel with having to park truck a little in the roadway. Staff were very professional and friendly! Loved the convenience of having Big Kahuna store open late with boat rental and pool access. Campground has some construction underway that can be a little noisy and dusty. Good stay overall!

Reserved a pull thru full hook up patio site. We were assigned a site next to the sewage dump station and had to deal with a strong sewage odor our entire stay.

The cabin we hade k221 was so old and run down. the mattresses looked like thy were 50 years old and the cabin was so bad it looked like it should be torn down. we left the same day we checked in we didn't even stay one night that's how bad it was. will never rent a cabin again. Four the camp ground itself was very good.

Will not be coming back this was very disappointing as my family has been coming for 30 years it’s been a tradition for years until we took some years off I I wanted to bring it back until the family until i booked a stay all the aminites was closed or gone and not open no basketball,golf,waterslide don’t waste money like I did and they don’t do day pass I wouldn’t recommend I left review

We used to camp here often over the years and then stopped because the rates kept increasing but we never saw improvements. However we needed a campground close to home because of other commitments so we came back. We saw lots of construction which was good to see. However we would love to see the roads paved and site improvements to the old tree section of the campground.

They said they had a pull through or back in spot long enough for us. When we arrived they said our assigned spot was too small and we had to pay for a delux pull through by the barn. Another $20 making our overnight stay over $100 !!! No handicap shower. No. grab bars in showers. Campground looked neglected and cluttered

Cabin wasn’t what we expected as far as amenities, the furnishings were dated, couch sofa bed needs replaced, our refrigerator had duck tape in the inside to hold milk containers or what ever condiment that we had that goes in the refrigerator. I was very disappointed in my stay on one of the new full hook up sites. I didn't expect them to be a near complete mud pit. No grass. No plants or other landscaping done. Its clear they were in a huge rush to open those new sites. The sewer/septic tanks didn't seem to be properly vented and caused a headache when dumping tanks departure day. Extremely expensive sites to be in that condition

The campground wasn't fully prepared for memorial day weekend, the roads at quite a bit of pot holes, the newer sites still had dirt with grass seeds, a few of the bigger newer cabins only had dirt for parking spots, which turned into mud, the picnic tables in front of big shakunas weren't assembled, the playground needs to be updated, the miniature golf course is now completely gone.

The cabin wasn’t cimplete, no steps to the cement patio. Only steps to bedroom. Very dangerous. The key did not work on door locks had to get a new lock . The grill there was gutted had to get a new one. Water quit working on Sunday Whoever said this cabin wasn’t ready for renting should be fired. We had a great time at the KOA Memorial day weekend. Lots of activities for the grandkids. Only issue was movie night employees disappeared and it got wild . Kids climbing rafters, inappropriate behavior on the screen. My 9 yr old granddaughter new to call and tell us to walk over and get her. Usually I don't leave them unattended but there was 3 employees and lot of families.

All the new renovations were very nice. We did have a dead branch fall on our awning arm and bend it. My suggestion would be to clean up the dead limbs on the tree's

The construction of the new splash pad and pools ruined the camp ground. The mudpit shouldn’t be sold for camping. Put sod down, clean it up. Something else besides construction site camping

We've stayed here a few times before. We love the new upgrades that have been done, but with the rain that was forecasted for a couple weeks prior to this weekend I would've thought the management would've put down some sort of gravel to help with all of the mud from the construction of the new pool area. We were woken up at 2am by the site next to us. The riff-raff that's in there was awful.

Eventually will be nice, but the old sites are very small and bathrooms needed cleaned and repaired. The 15s timers in the showers were horrible and ruined the stay.

Despite the construction, rain and mud we had a great time at Monroe KOA! We love the daily activities and all the activities we can do on our own. Clean sites, clean bathrooms, and friendly, helpful staff always make our stay enjoyable! Definitely missed the lake, but the kids still had a blast at the new pools and splash pad. Looking forward to coming back again to check out all the upgrades.

Wish weather was better but loved all the activities planned for the kids and the enthusiasm and friendliness of all the staff. Situated in a nice wooded area. Definitely recommend this place to others.

lots of activities for the kids. pool was heated which was also nice. my only complaint is that there wasn’t any regulation at a quiet time at night. I’m not sure if it was just like that because of the holiday but we had campers around us up until after 1am which is hard with kids. I had to use sound machines turned up all the way to be able to even sleep myself.

Excellent campground, although it's currently undergoing major renovations it is still a nice place to stay. After the renovations are complete this place will be a destination campground for folks. They are putting in updated KOA Patio sites, new swimming pools, new buildings, etc.; lots of money being spent. We stayed for four nights and will return again in the future when in the area. mw

The staff is excellent so friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing definitely will be going back. They have did so many improvements. We back with Koa regularly and I must say the employees at this location went above and beyond.
