We came in June and the park was not clean. We figured it was because it was the beginning of the season. We came August 11th and it was not much better. Unless the makeover next year cleans it up and there is more to offer we will choose another park. Kudos to all the staff. They made our stay pleasant and everyone was very helpful.

Last two years without the pond or works there nothing open snack stand not open water slide o my open 4 hrs office closes at 6! That's crazy ! so you got to do any of the activities before 530 because they won't give u the stuff after that! So 6 till bed time your left on your own with nothing the campground offers to do .

Bathroom cleaning times were very inconvenient and sometimes both sets of bathrooms were closed at once.

The picnic table at site 187B has seen better days... Regardless, we had a BLAST! Te water slide was so much fun, we loves the playground and Putt Putt. Thanks!

Great place to stay , lots of kids activities they have a great texting system to let you know what is coming and going on as far as activities during the day and to let you know ahead of time to the store closure in case you would need anything, showers needs a bit of work tho.

Awful sites- uneven, cramped. No pool and the water slide was closed most of the time. Wasn’t well kept like any other KOA’s we’ve been to. Won’t recommend

We enjoy this KOA very nice staff, everything is clean the camp sites are nice They had fireman's weekend, which was fun and interesting. We will be back.

Wish there were a few more activities for the kids to do in addition to the water venues and the bikes. But enjoyed our stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and eager to help and lots of activities for the kids. It was disappointing to get there and realize there was no swimming located at the park, we had not been told when we booked. The washrooms near the cabins need some major repair and cleaning. I understand they are under repair and a remodel, however the washroom repairs would be an easy fix in the interim.

Very disappointed in Monroe Koa. I knew they drained the pond. But they were supposed to have the water slide open. But it was only oppen 4 hours a day. Snack shack was closed the whole time. The cabin that I stayed in 5 years ago has the same thing still broken, like the shower head. The roads are so worn down in the campsite. Big pot holes everywhere. Very rude staff. I'll Never go again

We were a bit disappointed in the campground based on the fact that we were expecting typical KOA Holiday quality. Roads needed gravel, layout in our particular area felt more like an old run down trailer park rather than an RV park of the KOA HOLIDAY level. We did however read that their are improvements coming and would take a look again after construction.

We checked in for one night and arrived at about 6:30pm. We knew the office would be closed, but we were not aware that everything in the KOA would close at 6pm. We couldn’t enjoy the water slide, any of the sporting activities where they supplied the equipment, or even buy firewood for roasting marshmallows. Even the times online said 8am to 10pm. A complete disappointment in this KOA.

This is a KOA journey, but we only stayed for one night on our way home. Provision before you arrive because there’s nothing for miles around. Full hookups were great including cable. The grounds are beautiful. The washroom/showers could be updated. Campground was pretty empty and nothing was open when we arrived after 6.

Wifi was really good but off main site washrooms were disgusting especially on day three of our trip. They need to be cleaned properly twice a day when campground is busy and really need to be rebuilt so they can be cleaned. Main washrooms were fine but could be due for updating. Cabin was good and the grounds were nice

We booked in March, but we didn’t find out that the swimming lake was drained at the end of last year until the month of July, when we checked the website for ourselves. No one from the campground notified us and when we called to complain, there was no follow up from a manager. It was very messy-bathrooms and some of the equipment was unsafe and rusty and needed updating. Possibly not returning

We had asked for our air conditioner to be looked at as it was set to 61 but remained very hot in the cabin. My wife is 30 weeks pregnant and struggled to sleep at night. No one ever came to look at the unit, when we left on Monday we asked about a refund, someone took our phone number but 2 days later we have not heard anything back. Would appreciate a follow up and a conversation.

Everything closes early. Store and slide Is closed by 6. I was packing up and leaving and for some reason it was important to mow around our camper first. Acres of grass to mow, but ours was most important to mow around. Brushed grass clumps off of camper and truck for rest of trip. On a positive note the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly when we checked in.

It was nice after we left the east koa who had elec issues at the whole area our site was and unfriendly service. The lady at the desk here at the north koa I give kiddos too. She really helped. But our site was right across the laundry which was quite busy. It’s a pretty big koa But overall it was an ok over nighter.

The cabin that we stayed in was nothing like what was pictured on the website. It was actually kind of gross. The bathrooms were unkept and they stink! Most KOAs have a place to swim this one has nothing except for a water slide and a place to go fishing.

There is nothing for adults to do , no pool, no swimming in 90 degree heat I'm 60 and not going to stand in line to go down a water slide. Check in older gentlemen was very rude to my aunt. They have been coming to Monroe KOA for 35 years but now looking to have family camping weekend elsewhere. They closed waterside in 90 degree heat and a child who apparently lives there climbs up the slide ba

Very displeased with this location compared to the other one we’ve been to. Nothing for our child’s age to do, no cement for chalk, etc. we booked two nights and by the end of the first night we were ready to leave.

It was just an overnight stay and the site we were given was too tight for us to get into. They gave us a larger site. The staff was very accommodating. We were very appreciative of the quick response to our request. My only complaint is that their Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded, but that is true with a lot of campgrounds. The campground looks to be very clean and well maintained.

Site doesn’t tell you nothing open during week. Site tells all these things to do no times listed. We get there like a ghost town nothing happing. Very boring free golf is only free because it’s terrible. Ferns are ripped.

Loved the deluxe cabin L222 that we stayed in but the door did not shut tight. Very disappointed the lake was drained. Activities for the kids were nice & so were the people that worked there.

Over priced for mediocre park. Air matreses being filled at 11:30 PM. Everything needs updated. Broken chair on site and filthy rable.At least staff is very good.

Nice campground. Easy access from highway 23 and the staff were great. We had a breaker issue on our pedestal and they were on it. Had it changed and everything was great in 15-20 minutes after the call. The best experience!!!

We have been going here every year for the last 12 years. I know things have changed since not having the swimming pond and I have to say it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as clean as usual..we had a big dead squirrel in our lot which had been there for a few days. Toilets were broken. Trash on the grounds. Just not the same KOA I'm use too. I hope it gets better again soon!

The staff is excellent so friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing definitely will be going back. They have did so many improvements. We back with Koa regularly and I must say the employees at this location went above and beyond.
