SOUTHBOUND ON I-95: Take Exit 17 turn right @ the stop light Drive 2 tenths of a mile & make the 1st left hand turn onto Kenric Road. Drive 3.5 miles and the park entrance will be on the right. Our KOA Billboard is at our driveway entrance.
NORTHBOUND ON I-95: Take Exit 13-A to I-74 E toward Wilmington Drive .3 tenths of a mile, Take Exit 210 to Alt-74 . At stop Light turn left & follow KOA signs, turn right onto Kenric Rd @ the SunDo gas station, the park entrance is on the left.Our KOA Billboard is at our driveway entrance.
Lumberton KOA is a great base camp to explore many of North Carolina's beautiful beaches, like Wrightsville Beach, Oak Island, Top Sail and Kure Beach. We are a short one-hour drive to Darlington Raceway and to the Historic Pinehurst known for it's PGA golf pros & golf enthusiasts. Pinehurst is also home to a quaint village decorated with interesting shopping boutiques and delicious, unique restaurants. Visit the Lumber River State Park to experience the natural beauty of the Lumber River. Easily accessible hiking trails and canoe entries are located throughout the state park. For our more adventurous travelers, check out ZipQuest zipline in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Just a short drive north will have you flying through the air from tree to tree and even over a waterfall. If you love outdoor recreation, you won't be disappointed here.
Explore one of the countries top beaches, just a short drive from our campground. Kure Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Oak Island and Topsail are all less than a two-hour drive. Spend the day in the sun and sand and come back to the comfort of your RV.
Visit one of the nations top zipline courses, just a short drive from the campground. ZipQuest Waterfall & Treetop Adventure was ranked one of the best zipline parks in America by USA Today. Fairmont Golf Club Located five miles off I-95 on the Southeastern edge of Fairmont, North Carolina, only one hour from Pinehurst and a little over an hour to the North and South Carolina Beaches, including Myrtle. Originally opened in 1963, under the name of Flag Tree Golf Club, the course was designed by legendary golf architect Porter Gibson. The clubhouse features a well-stocked pro shop and a Pub/Grill.
