My stay was different from those of the past 10+ years. New management, higher costs, & added restrictions left a negative tone for future stays. I was harassed daily for breaking 'new' rules. I accept change but the informal communication & constant badgering was not welcoming. I was unable to enjoy my time with family/friends also staying the weekend.

When I placed reservation had requested to be in cabin next to friends. Was told not a problem, it could be accommodated. When we checked in we were not next to friends & was told we should have ‘locked’ in this request. This was not mentioned on reservation call. Asked if we could move & was told the cabin next to theirs was booked & checked in. No one showed during wknd. Disappointed.

Sorry but the bouncy was missed and the hay ride was a JOKE. I have stayed there for the past 4 years during the Halloween season. I also rent a DC for my Son's Family, We always make a reservation for next year. but not this next year. They were not happy so Papaw's not happy.

Always a good time. One thing they changed was the hay ride.They use to go around the grounds. This year they went around a circle and back, took about 2 minutes. We were disappointed in that.

Did not like combination lock to enter bathroom. Same toilet was clogged for three days. Nasty! Bugs in cabin. Campers looked crammed in every little nook. Everything else was fine.

Absolutely wonderful! The campground is clean, cabin was clean, bathrooms and facilities clean. The outdoor activities for the kids were great. I really couldn't have asked for anything better! Plus they allowed me to check in early when I misread the checkin time. We will be staying again next year!

My whole family has visited here several years. That being said, this was the worst experience we’ve ever had. Our design idea was stolen. (We won 2nd place last year.) Everyone staying at the campground told us they voted for our site, despite the fact we didn’t win because our votes were not tallied by staff. What could’ve been first place didn’t place at all?? Have your own imagination

This was our 2nd stay here in the past year or so. We love this KOA. We enjoy watching the planes go over. The nature trails are great for everyone. My son did miss the jumping pillow but he still enjoyed the bicycles, basketball court and newer play area.

My family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was great, we had enough privacy sitting on the back deck and the campground was clean. My only complaint is that we only had 1 extra roll of toilet paper and one extra garbage bag. I think for a family of four staying at the cabin for 4 nights that just wasn't enough. Other than that we had an excellent experience.

Clean, quiet and nice staff. Dog park could be larger. The private dog sites are awesome. I would love to see them available on the cabins

We needed to make a trip towing a small cargo trailer instead of our travel trailer -- as we always enjoyed the top notch facilities at KOAs, we thought we'd try staying in a cabin instead of a motel -- and we were very happy to have made that choice. The cabins are very nice -- and, of course, you get the great KOA staff if you need assistance.

I stay at KOA’s whenever I can and as far as service and campground cleanliness- it was top notch. The bathrooms left something to be desired compared to other KOA’s but that’s minor. It’s in a great location, and the staff were all amazing. The only other thing, would be TV’s in the cabins. I stayed in one w a tv and it was nice to lay in bed on a rainy night with a movie. Jim, housekeeping, VERY attentive to our request! :) Entry door 'sticks' in closed position;; top 1/4 of door jam rubs, requiring great force to open. I did interim adjustment, AND applied special lubricant to facilitate opening. Suggest:: re-evaluation of wood price. It is not competitive . I was disappointed in the cleanliness of our cabin . Along the windows, beds and benches were spider nests . It was really difficult to sleep knowing spiders were nesting near where I sleep . The indoor areas need to be wiped down .

Stayed 1 night in the basic cabin. It was clean, the grounds were clean as well. My only complaint is, the cabin had no t.v., and only had 1 usable outlet in it. I have stayed at other KOAs in the basic cabins, most have TV, and multiple outlers.

The pool and outdoor games were great, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought along fishing poles in hopes to take our grandson fishing but the access to the water was not cleared/mowed. Thankfully we scouted it out before getting his hopes up about fishing.

Campgrounds nice but cabin had a few problems: door would not close without turning knob, bathroom sink faucet would not go hot or cold but only on and off. Bath water ran slow and went cold before bath full for my leg tbls, so did not sleep well. All else ok.

9pm & storming. priority unloading car.Had to use rr. Didn't expect combination lock & thought it for employees to lock (for cleaning, maintenance etc)and not for guests. Asthma made hurrying hard. Called park host. Left message asking for it to be open and call back when ready. Son found code on check in form but host should be more courteous and called with code. MISERABLE mattress. Slats felt.

Stayed there during the National Street Ride association NSRA The staff was very nice and it is a very nice size park and most of the sites were decent in size with trees Nice place to stay

Definitely a hidden gem! We loved it here! Loved the staff! They were all so very nice. The cabin was the nicest koa cabin I've ever stayed in. Loved the live music. The kids enjoyed the pool and all the other play areas. And the bathrooms were super clean!

We loved our stay at the Louisville South KOA! The site is well situated, and there are so many activities. Staff were very friendly, and even though the site was packed, it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely be back!
