The nicest KOA we have stayed in and one of the nicest campgrounds period we have ever camped in. Staff was professional and friendly and the team made our extended stay great. Facilities are well kept, clean, and nice. Most of the RV spots are nice if your are staying for a short stay. What I assume are seasonal lots were a little less enticing but all in all, great campground.

I expected a full kitchen and there was no oven. This was not a "full" kitchen as I was told. Ants were crawling on the counter in the kitchen and in the kids bunk area. We paid 255.00 for one night and expected better. The pool was great. The towels were nice and fluffy. The bed squeaked when moving. Could not fish because of 2 inches of mud getting to the river. Movie night is only on Friday?

Very enjoyable, loved just relaxing sitting on the porch swing. Came Dathers day weekend and was amazed with all the activities that were offered. The Pool area was very clean and plenty of sitting areas. The cabin #8, door has a spacious gap when the door is shut, other than that it was a perfect weekend.!

One of the most beautiful KOA resorts we’ve ever stayed at. So many activities for the boys to do. As always, the cabin was spotlessly clean, and although it was smaller than the ones, we usually like to rent, it was perfectly adequate for our one night. You just cannot go wrong staying with KOA! As my grandson said so perfectly this is so much better than a hotel!

Excellent for our family of two and two dogs. This was a true family place with so many fun activities. The staff was excellent. Everything was very tidy and easy to access.

Excellent campgrounds, staff was friendly, the park area was clean, lots of fun activities to enjoy, the cabin was not perfect or spotless but it was decent and sufficient. No problems. Would recommend and would stay again.

We switched to a camping cabin at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised! It was clean and had lights, an outlet (charge phones), and AC/Heat. Camp bathrooms were kept very clean. Our kids enjoyed the activities and playground. The camp has a nice vibe and is dog-friendly. There is a lovely, wooded nature trail around the property. Will definitely come back with our camping trailer!

The staff were so lovely ! Every-time I called or even at check in. Seriously the nicest and most patient staff ever! Deluxe Cabins were perfect ! Only complaint were ants in the cabin and then our transportation to Derby did not allow us to stay for all races.

Cabin was really nice, bed was great. Suggestion: since most deluxe cabins provide kitchen supplies we did not expect to have to bring silverware and dishes with us. I understand that being there was no stove that there would not be pans and serving dishes but at least some silverware and dishes would have been helpful. After all a microwave meal does need forks and spoons. And solid cups too.

We were there for only a short stay, but this location was clean, well maintained, and happy. Every person we talked too, and the workers we met were happy, excited and very proud of their location. I plan to come again, for a longer stay. Thanks for everything!

First think we had to wash all the dishes because Ants were all over them. Second it would have been easier to do that if you had a sprayer in the kitchen sink. then we couldn't take a shower because the shower head would not stay put, kept falling down turning the water to the walle had a nice stay other than those we had a nice stay

Staff was very friendly. Bed in my kabin was very comfortable and curtains provided complete privacy inside. Door was a little drafty. Parking space at my site was a little tight and roots in the ground made unloading/loading a little tricky in wet weather.

Excellent facilities. Extremely clean and very nice staff! We stayed in a cabin in the winter and there wa a bit of ice on the ground in front of the cabin. Washed away with rain over a few days, but we were were extra cautious when entering into the cabin.

Stayed over the Fourth of July Weekend. Super clean. Nice sites. Very helpful staff (they even found and returned our 15 year old, deaf Aussie when he accidently wandered off). Also the activities were Great. Will stay here again!

This is the best KOA we've stayed at so far. If you're visiting Louisville, especially for the horse races, this campground is in a fantastic location and makes getting around easy while still providing a peaceful place to relax. The campground is clean, well maintained, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The sites were spacious, and everything was organized, making our stay stress free. There are plenty of activities for kids and families, along with nice amenities that make it more than just a place to park your camper. Whether you're staying for one night or several days, it's a campground you'll want to return to. We especially loved how close it is to Churchill Downs, making it the perfect home base for race day without dealing with the hustle of staying downtown. If you're planning a trip to Louisville, we highly recommend staying here. It was our favorite KOA yet, and we will definitely be back on our next visit.
