We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin. It was very clean and we had everything that we needed and staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in town for a volleyball tournament so we really didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the amenities and activities. We were only 18 minutes from the Expo Center and had a ton of options in the area for food and supplies, so it was a great location.

Amazing! I only wish there were more offered on Sat (the movie and hay ride) instead of Fri. Because we missed it and thought it was going to be included. Everyone was out of this world helpful! Staff rocked! Everyone I know has planned on booking in the future now after coming to our daughter’s camp out party. So Perfect!

Love this campground. Have new wifi at all cabins (Yeah). Worked great. Will stay here almost always when we come visit grandchildren in Louisville. I love the outdoors better than a hotel. Love the hiking trail. Was underwater this time but a great hike the last time I was there.

It was a simple check in. I was taken to my site and they made sure I was able to get in and approved the cabin. Anytime I went to the office they were super friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions. Upon checkout I was invited to come back and stay again. I plan to go back again in the future

Staff is super friendly and welcoming. They told us everything we needed to know about our stay and the new WI-FI. The camping cabin was clean and cozy. Mattresses were in good condition. Facilities were adequate and supplied well ( even hand lotion ). The only complaint is that we had a super loud and abnoxious drunken group behind our cabin that violated the quiet hours for a long long time.

We enjoyed staying in the cabin. We thought that the cabin wasn't in a very private location. The street light by the cabin took away from the camping experience. Wood price is outrageous!!!

We could not have been happier! Everyone we encountered was so kind and helpful, and them going above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort when bad weather was coming to allow us to upgrade from our tent to a cabin was incredible. Our family had so much fun with all the yard games and play areas; we could not have been more satisfied with our stay!

This a small, but very well appointed KOA. I stayed in a Deluxe Cabin. The staff was friendly and helpful, even directing me there after my GPS had taken me somewhere else. They kept in touch via texts which was also great. It was nice to have a TV there for my rainy, overnight stay, but the connected froze fairly frequently. Other than that, the stay was one of the best. Location was very quiet!

Left our motorhome in Alabama and drove the Jeep home to Ohio for a funeral and stayed here one night in a cabin on the way home. We've stayed in the rv sites several times before so we knew it was a really nice place. The cabin was great! It's nice to have a place we can still bring the dogs. The only thing I would recommend is for the heaters to be turned on prior to guest arrival when it's cold

Everything was great. Only complaint was the cabin only having 1 plug & it was in the back room. So we had to run out to buy an extension power cord strip to charge our phones.

Place is always so clean and nice. Stayed in one of the camping cabins and it was perfect. FYI I called the day before checkout and asked for a noon checkout instead of 11am. They ended up charging me $20 for the one hour. Not too happy about that!

Was ok. The lockS Were Changed WIth Codes, we Had to leave doors unlocked unattended. The halloween costume contest was a joke. Couldn't see who was in the contest, she had them bundled together and could tell she didn't either and just picked someone up front she could see. When they walked around the circle everyone could see the costumes. They are judged better that way .

We could not have picked a better campground for a 3.5 and 7 year old boy. They played hours at the playground, after a big day at the Louisville Zoo. We were welcomed with warm chocolate chip cookies and had delicious cool lemon water as a refreshment beverage. Bath houses were spotless. Campground was quiet and very clean! Trash pick up in the morning was a nice bonus. The boys played giant chess, bounced on the bounce pad, swung on the zip line. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer. They have a gorgeous pool on site, regretfully it was too cold for swimming in April 2025. Thank you for an amazing vacation for my dear friend and her “littles”. The site was level and I was led to my site by an employee who helped me back into my full hook up site. The fee was reasonable for the services provided. I encourage anyone to come and stay at the South Louisville KOA. They had cute cabins if you don't have an RV 🥰

This Campground is so amazing! Everyone is super nice & helpful! The warm chocolate chip cookies you receive upon arrival are very delicious 🍪🍪 The dog park is great too. Our dog got to play with two other dogs in it🐕🐩🐕‍🦺 The water pressure in the showers🚿 was fantastic! Beware of their new Scoops & Such ice cream🍧 addition in their store, it is fabulous & very addictive. We will definitely be stopping here again in the future too!
