We had a wonderful stay! All the extras were so fun for our family and we had the best time. Very clean, bathroom/showers, fantastic staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Kate! Will definitely be back!

Very friendly and accommodating staff for reservations, check in and getting to site. Lot of trees and shade. Didn't use amenities as we're self contained and didn't need facilities or use pool. Tight navigating for a big rig with trailer. We're 70 feet and don't flat tow, so campground is not well suited to such size; but, excellent option for our overnight needs.

This was our second time staying here. It’s our favorite campground for families! Everyone who works there are so nice and helpful. We love the warm, chocolate chip cookies they give you when you check in. They take you to your site and help guide you through. There is so much there to do. We enjoyed time at the pool, enjoyed playing gaga ball and bocce ball, playground and walks.

The team here is absolute perfection! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming—they even greeted us with warm cookies at check-in. Their genuine hospitality and pride in the property truly shine through. It is rare to find such exceptional customer service. This wonderful crew makes you feel right at home!

Unfortunately there was a lot of rain and the water drained thru our campsite. We had water standing around our site almost the whole time. I’d like to see that drainage flow changed so another camper does not have the same issue.

We’ve been staying at this campground with our travel trailer on our way to and from Florida for the last few years. Never disappoints! Very friendly staff, very clean restrooms. Love that we can book on line. It’s our favorite KOA of all that we’ve been to. Would highly recommend.

We loved this campground! It's KOA meets state park. Great mix of all the fun things KOAs have to offer plus fishing & fun trails like a state park would have. We will be back!

We like the campground, however, Saturday we were overpowered by an odor. One person said we would get a discount on our rate for the inconvenience. We never did.

Friendly staff welcomed us to their well-appointed facility with smiles and warm chocolate cookies, and it only got better from there. Beautiful, spacious property in a convenient location with plenty of amenities, including a fully stocked general store. I am sure that once the construction is complete, the KOA South experience will be even more enjoyable.

We reserved a site with a patio we thought it would have a concert paid for the RV, which it did not. The sight was not level, my husband was hooking up electric in the rain and it had at least 2 inches of standing water. We ask to be moved to another site. They said sure, no patio, no sewage hook up which is what we where paying for. Just electric was what they offered us. I have more.

We are in a class A diesel pusher for just 1 night.(Memorial Day Weekend) At the time of booking we got the last spot. The spot we reserved as good for our size but there was no way we could level and not have front wheels off the ground (spot was electric and water only). The manager put us in a pull through spot with full hook ups for $20 more. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Had sewer and plumbing issues for 2 says straight... lots of mud... If bathrooms and showers, showers also had low pressure.. were working would have stayed for the whole weekend we booked but only stayed 2days.. because of plumbing...

Site was not level but big enough pull thru for car and toad. Was ok as a one night stay. Did have a nice store and staff was great.

We were traveling from Ohio to Tennessee and decided we wanted to stop for the night. It was a late call, but they were able to find us a spot! So grateful and loved the campground. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed in our RV and had a wonderful time. Nice location to Churchill Downs. We were treated to a fresh chocolate cookie upon arrival. Beautiful pool. Kind staff.

We were worn out from driving and pulled into one of the best campgrounds ever! The host was so welcoming and the warm chocolate chip cookies were such a special touch. Great level site. Restrooms and showers were spotless. We would definitely stop back by when in the area.

We stayed here when our daughter played in a basketball tournament at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The campground is close to the exposition center, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating when we needed to make a last-minute adjustment to our checkout time. This campground is very well run and is kept very clean.

Always a please at Louisville South KOA. The facilities and grounds are well maintained. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The playground and pool and wonderful assets for our kids! With travel sports it's become our second home!

Hearing cargo jets flying over us one every minute after 11 pm made it hard to fall asleep. It continued at least 45 minutes. Bring ear plugs.

Lovely campground with nice shade trees. We enjoyed staying here as our home base for 5 nights while visiting distilleries and other area attractions.

Nice stay. The sites are little cramped where we were at the first couple if days. We were surrounded by big rigs and their large dog kennels. It got better the last two days when they left.

We needed a pull-through site while traveling North on I-65 and decided on the Louisville South KOA. The site was easy to pull in and out of while leaving our vehicle connected to our motorhome.

A very conveniently located KOA, with nice shade trees, plenty of activities and storage too! Outside of the city, but so close by you are right there for anything you want to do in the area.

We had a cabin at the KOA campground. It's a great location just south of Louisville. The cabin is small but very nice and very clean. We had friends in a camper at this Campground but we will consider using KOA's's in the future instead of hotels. Has a vice Camp store with most things you would need. There's a pool and a children's play area. Ever the grounds are clean and green and well maintained.

We had a very pleasant stay. KOA's have a lot of activities for the whole family and because of that that are pricier than other campgrounds. We had a back in, patio, full hook up lot.
