This place is gorgeous! Extremely clean laundry and bathrooms. Amply stocked store and very friendly staff. Pool is clean and wonderful. Staff is very friendly. We joked that we wanted to permanently stay.

The only KOA we’ve been to out of about 25, that charges extra $20 to check in 2 hours early! Site was all gravel no grass and very small. K9 dog park was very nice with all sorts of play equipment and slides for the dogs.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a specific check in time. We sent a text message advising of the fee and request you call for availability. You arrived 2 1/2 hours early, before check out of the previous guest. You did not call in advance. We cannot speak for other KOA's.

We were passing through for a couple of days and was pleasantly surprised to find this KOA back in the woods. Doing touristy stuff and visiting friends, so we weren't there much but found it a nice place to stay. Clean bathrooms, pool, small store (no ice cream case), and nice people in the office. We would definitely stay there again when we're in the area.

Loved the amenities!! Staff were helpful and nice. Park is kept very clean. The pool was our favorite spot after a few hours of sightseeing. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Great campground. Extremely clean. Great staff. Nice pool and amenities. Have stayed in many KOAs. This is one of the nicest. Only thing that would have made better is if I could have left my trailer hooked up without breaking the two extra vehicle rule. Pull through site was over 100 feet long. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Our stay was great. Bath house was clean and beautiful. The campsites were well groomed and clean. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Most of the campsites were level and had good room. Ours had a very large tree, with just enough space to get our awning out but on sloping terrain. On the side where we had to hook up, it was sort of treacherous to get to the sewer, water and electric for an older people like us. You had to get down on the rocks.

The staff here was AMAZING! So kind and helpful. The grounds were clean and very well kept. The jumping pillow and pool kept the kiddos entertained and happy for hours. Wore them out too!!

The site we were assigned to was way out of level so we could not level our MH and extend our slides out. Several of the sites near our site we're also severely sloped. The site was listed as a drive through but it was so short the site went up hill, crested and then went down hill. There was probably 20-25' of flat area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We answer to KOA and our sites are within standards. Leveling is best done with your wheels first, then use stabilizers to take the movement out of your home, not level it. Not every site everywhere will be flat, in fact most are not. There are many Youtube videos you can get ideas from.

I arrived and as I exited my vehicle someone from the office came out and called across the arrival lanes that pets are not allowed in the office. Asking if my dog was a Service Animal would have been more welcoming. When I informed the employee my dog was a service animal and turned so the vest was visible, the employee apologized saying he did not see the harness. Not welcoming going forward.

We had campsite 22 it was a very nice, shaded level lot. The staff was wonderful and always so helpful. We had a hiccup about our check-out date, and they were so understanding and made arrangements for our extra day. The staff makes sure that all lots are cleaned and ready when you come in. I can't wait to stay again.

This was a quick turn around but the facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the campground was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Excellent campground! Very helpful and friendly staff. Bathhouses were spotless! Nicest we have ever seen! The playground was such a great addition. The trees are beautiful and provide such a nice cover when it was hot! Location was easy to drive to also!

Our site was super cramped and was muddy and had standing water near the electrical hook up. Would only go back if we could pick our site.

We're sorry your experience was not the best. That site is usually a nice site and requested many times. That one is raised to allow for the wood deck. We appreciate the feedback and will reevaluate the site. I hope you looked at other sites as you may pick the site you prefer if you call us.

Clean and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pool is amazing! Perfect temperature and the salt water feels so much better than chlorine. The showers and bathrooms are probably the nicest I’ve ever seen in a campground.

Staff was VERY friendly and pleasant! Campground was well kept. All facilities well maintained. I hated the gravel. There were large pieces and it was hard to walk on in some places at the campsites specifically. Even turned my ankle on it. There was also poison ivy around the campsite. Overall it was a really nice place.

We have stayed at a few K O A's and this was the worst one of all. I understand policies but when there is room for more than one vehicle per spot it should be no problem. It is like the signs saying NO DIVING all over the place, but on the rule #8 states you can dive if clear. They spoke to us about sitting on rope in pool which we weren't. It was not well maintained> WILLL NOT BE BACK

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We allow 1 vehicle at each campsite for the comfort and safety of all our guests. The rules also state, Do not dive unless Diving area is clear, as you noted there is not a diving area. Safety is a top priority for all of our guests. Rules are created with safety in mind.

Stayed for 3 days RV site 14, next to the garbage dumpster, no lids on dumpster, flies everywhere, bad smell. Site 14 smelled like when you drive behind a garbage truck. I have pictures to prove it.

We're sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. We do get very busy on weekends and, as humans, we create alot of garbage. Did you address this issue with staff? We had other sites available. According to your arrival time, we could have made adjustments. Have a safe trip.

Great fun for kids! The bouncy pillow was a huge hit. Very nice, level camping spots. The whole place was spotless! Great internet too. Would definitely stay here again!
