Stopped to camp here overnight. Our RV site was by the river. It was lovely to relax by the river. It was easy to walk to the Famous Leavenworth Village to celebrate our 2nd baby's 29th birthday. Leavenworth village is a beautiful small town! It is a must to stop to visit.

We love Leavenworth KOA. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We have returned every winter for the last 5 years and those that have worked there for a while remember us and we love that! The park is clean and kept beautiful all year!

Mostly good, but the condition of some of the play equipment was poor. In particular, the quality and state of the basketball hoops was horrible.

Beautiful area, well maintained, and lots of activities for kids. The park was also very quiet after 10pm which we appreciated. The multiple dog parks were also a great convenience. My only minor complaint is that campsites are a little close together near the registration office so that area felt a bit crowded. Everything else was great though. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed on site 125. It is a very nice campground. I wish we had more time to stay there. Clean, spacious, all amenities needed were available. We were on a 42’ 5th wheel with tow vehicle and extra suv. We would stay here again.

The check in process was easy, and we appreciated how we got a golf cart escort to the campground. The camp site had a lot of weeds and no grill.

Perfect getaway and place to stay for families. Very close to downtown. This was our first KOA experience and it wont be our last!

Clean, quiet, and lots to do. Very beautiful setting and KOA hosts/team were great. Spots were a little close together (we were in 72), our neighbors were literally 3 ft from us while using their picnic table.

Really upset! Asked to be close to friends and they put us at opposite ends of the campground. We paid for deluxe site and instead of just putting us closer they wanted to charge $30 to make the change. Deluxe site was on the in and out road so traffic continuously.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When making reservations online or in person or over the phone we recommend utilizing select my site to reserve sites to be together. Friday afternoon check-ins during summer season we are extremely busy and is not the time to move guests around.

The park itself is beautiful, but, we were with 2 other couples, and when we each called in, got 3 sites in a row. But, when we got there, that did not happen, even though those other sites remained empty the whole time. She also had us and another couple down for being in motor homes, with no tip outs, we both had trailers with tip outs. Somebody in the office really goofed things up.

The reason for the “4” is we requested sites next to each other and were told that they were not available. The site next to me was left open for the two days we were there and the other trailer would have fit into it. Other than that, it was a “5” star rating.

We understand your frustration and the person that had booked the site next to you had a site lock then no showed. Per our policy we weren’t able to free up that space because someone had paid for it.

Camp was great, very close to downtown. Leavenworth was very pretty, reminded me of my stays around Munich Germany.

Very happy that the owners spent time to walk around the campground and greet their guests. Very welcoming! Great campground, we have been here many times and will continue to visit this campground often. We love it!

Our family had a great time camping at the Leavenworth KOA! Great location on the river, close to town and lots of activities for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful all weekend. Highly recommend this spot for campers!

We enjoyed the Bingo games, the live music night, color the hats and magnets, and of course the tie-dye shirts are a big plus! All the employees were very kind and helpful. Shout out to Chris from Florida! She’s a real gem!

We had a wonderful time during our most recent stay! The staff is very helpful, the extra events are amazing, the pool and hot tub are so relaxing. Love it at the Leavenworth KOA! Can’t wait to come again!

We enjoyed the beautiful park including bingo, krafts, Riverwalk, a great gift shop and close proximity to Leavenworth. Staff were terrific, especially manager and Chris. Areas of improvement would be internet band width, better karaoke machine with more volume and small portable PA for bingo caller. Thank you for a wonderful memorial weekend!

Overall great campsite with great staff. We stayed at site 70 and was a bit disappointed that there was another site behind us. Did not feel like there was much privacy and space.

It was a very clean and friendly KOA. The location was perfect for riding bikes to town. There is also a Safeway within walking/riding distance.

We stayed 3 nights. Site #142. Site was level and clean. Having to go all the way to the middle of the park to register with a 30 ft. Class A towing was a bit of a pain. It's a shame that you don't have the registration at the front gate.

It was a camping trip with family. First camping trip for my 2.5 year old grandson. The KOA is nice and clean. Most of the staff are very friendly. Since the pool is heated, I'm not sure why it's not open all year round. My biggest complaint is the cost. $600.00 for 3 nights, plus paying for any and all activities if truly ridiculous. Also, what happened to the shuttle bus to and from the town?

The KOA Park was extremely clean and cared for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty for kids to do with wonderful amenities, plus within easy walking distance to Leavenworth if you’d like to walk or ride a bike.

The campground was great and everyone was very nice. The maintenance guys were very helpful to me. My husband usually sets up our RV, but he was not feeling well. The maintenance guys were great about showing me how to set it up and helped me do what I couldn't do . Thank you guys!

We were only there for 2 nights but wished we could've stayed longer! The campgrounds were clean, the staffing was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved all the activities for the kids and the river walk trail, we will definitely be back soon!

The park is nice and close to the town. It is a very large park, not much privacy. Lots of dogs. We have a dog too so we can’t be too critical but the barking was constant. There was a nice but small off leash dog run but not everyone picked up after their pups. Hoping to find a smaller, woodsy park next time.

Very nice Rv park! Friendly people and very large park with lots to do and close to town. I only marked it down because we were is 144 which is next to the spa (separate business) where they have a wood fired sauna that smoked continuously. I understand camp fires etc when in the woods but sometimes it smelled of burnt rubber or chemicals. Next time I would choose a spot far from the smokey spa!

Very orientated to huge rigs or chalets, smaller rigs right in the middle was very noisy, very expensive for a KOA….it would’ve been cheaper to book a motel room

We had a great time at KOA in Leavenworth for the 3-day long memorial day weekend. The place is incredible, with tons of nature, activities, clean bathrooms, nice showers and overall just fun for families. Strongly recommended and we'll be coming back.

Lovely setting for camping set amongst the trees. Many nice cabins as well as RV and tent sites. The trail by the river very nice.
