We love camping here! One issue this year; I booked and paid for a patio spot- assuming that was the area where you initially pull in- at the front the property. We were assigned spot 60- in the parking lot, by the registration area. We did NOT want to be in the spot. Luckily we were able to get moved by the 2nd night, to spot 132, where we intended to be.

Thank you for your feedback. We do have deluxe patio sites in multiple locations throughout the park. It is recommended that you utilize the “select my site” feature to choose your perfect site when making your reservation.

Highly overpriced for what it is. Just because of the location you feel you can charge higher than normal prices. I can stay at much nicer parks for half the price. We were parked in a spot next to employee housing area and they were the ones making all the noise, playing loud music in their trucks when coming and going. It's at great place if you have kids. But not so much when you want quiet

Amazing stay again! This is the 10th year we’ve stayed at the campground and it’s better than ever. They got rid of the charges for extra vehicles! The bathrooms and pool are in great condition. Maintenance and housekeeping were quick to drop off paper towels, TP and trash bags. Front desk staff was friendly. Overall a great stay. Thank you! We’re already booking for next year.

It was very crowded. Just did not seem as inviting as it has been in the past. The staff did not seem as friendly as they have been during the last few stays. My family will probably stay somewhere else next year.

We put the correct size of RV in when we registered, but were given a site that we could barely fit in and that was extremely difficult to back in. The site was very dusty and we were next to (very close) a RV of residents that appeared to live there who were fighting. We had called about air quality concerns and were reassured that all was great, but the air quality was above the hazardous level.

Too noisy, children walking/riding through camp site. Site next to us stayed up talking under our bedroom window until 10:30, camp ground personnel did not enforce quiet hours.

We had a group of about 25 people, with multiple cabins. This our third stay at a KOA, and our first at Leavenworth, and it was a great time! We loved the the outdoor pool, as well as the proximity to the river (although quite cold with a decent current, it was beautiful). The cabins were clean (aside from the floors needing a bit of a scrub), bedding, toiletries and coffee was appreciated.

The Leavenworth KOA is an excellent camp. Always clean, and staff is friendly and helpful. We have stayed here multiple times, as we love the camp’s proximity to downtown Leavenworth with all the shops, restaurants and activities that are available in the area. We have river rafted, gone horseback riding, rode the mountain coaster, visited the reindeer farm, wandered around Blackbird island, etc

Cleanest most organized campground I’ve ever been to. The staff is stellar! The cabins are perfect. Comfy and clean with a great shower! Just rustic enough to still feel like you’re at a campground. The live music was awesome as, I mean really, who does that? It was perfect. The ice cream was a hit! We reserved the cabin we want for next year. It’s our new anniversary spot:)

We’ve loved this KOA for years but this year wasn’t as great as it has been. The campsite was too small and cramped. Our spot should have been an open space at the end of a row, not a camp spot. Bathrooms and showers weren’t sparkling clean but good enough. Staff were very helpful when we brought up concerns about wasps. We love the amenities!

Site 72 was horrible! We have stayed here several times before and will never choose a grass site again. It was so narrow and congested with sites all around. Felt like the cost to stay in that site should be cheaper since you have less space. Could barely set our chairs out! Never again!

I have stayed here many times over the years, but not since it was expanded. It is not a cozy getaway anymore but a city to itself. You are packed in with as many guests as possible and it is nothing like it was. It felt like camping in a daycare. You don’t get any value for the money anymore and I definitely would not come back or recommend.

Shower and bathroom amenities were very nice. Tent sites are very close together and quiet hours are not enforced. It's great how many attractions they have for kids, but it did feel like a cash grab around every corner. Pool was closed on Sunday for cleaning, which seemed like an odd time to pick since many families want to swim before driving home. Beautiful river.

This campsite is a compound! It’s busy but very clean with amazing amenities like showers, dish washing areas, garbage pick up, laundry, a cafe, pool, access to the river, a store, all in a safe and secure location. The sites are expensive for tent camping, but the staff are friendly and helpful. I would totally stay here again as the location is super convenient, and quiet.

Site 16 very private and quiet, the roads are very skinny for a big rig and so it would be great to have some overflow parking for big vehicles as many of them don't fit in their sites and end up hanging over the edge of the site onto the road. When we arrived that was the case and we had a difficult time getting into our site. I do like that you shut down the kids on bikes at dark, Thank you!

Way too crowded! Fifteen people in line ahead of us for check in- seems most of this could be done on line. Bathrooms/showers were too few, far away and long lines. High priced. On the plus side, it was quiet after 10 and close to town. And glad to have power and water hook ups.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Friday checkin with 110+ reservations can take a while. We recommend avoiding the rush at peak times of 1pm and 3pm. People staying in RVs have a bathroom however choose to use our comfort stations which can lead to over crowding.

The facility and campground was very clean! The people were are all really nice and the staff was diligent. The trash pick up is a nice touch! The kids activities were fun and family-friendly. Our favorite part was easy access to the river. We loved it so much we already booked next year’s trip!

We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were very helpful, especially Lori at check in. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. The campgrounds were very clean.

I love this KOA! It’s well maintained with friendly staff. My one concern that I noticed with my recent stay is with the rise in popularity of e-bikes and e-scooters. A lot of kids were flying through the property at unsafe speeds. Someone could get seriously hurt if a collision were to happen at those speeds.

Was nice, however we were denied an upgrade to the cabin next door that was unoccupied for lame reasons. Very disappointed and so were the neighboring guests near us, from the high pitch, dusty riding lawnmower driven on Monday morning at 6a.m, over grads that was well groomed and short already. Tents don’t block noise and that was disturbing. It felt like a prank. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at KOA Leavenworth! Bobby and was great at check in! He was kind and professional. It was a busy day but he remained calm and focused. I appreciate Bobby and all the staff working on a hot summer day. Thanks for the clean bathrooms and showers and wonderful camp site! We enjoyed the karaoke and the clean pool! This was a quick visit and we cannot to return!

We’ve been camping at the Leavenworth KOA for 8 years and the grounds have gone downhill at some point along the way. We stayed in site 55 for the second year in a row. The wasps were bad on our site both times. There were tons of weeds covering our site. For the cost to stay and cost of paid amenities, I’d expect the grounds to be in better condition, especially with how many workers they hav

We have a trailer. If you get any of the spots near the entrance of the KOA camp, they’re awful. You get constant sun east to West exposure, and no break from the heat. Even with awnings, we were fully exposed to sun all day long, and when the temperatures are high, it’s miserable. Nice KOA, beautiful riverside location. Clean/hot showers and bathrooms. Not much privacy at the camp sites, kind of close together but lots of amenities. You can walk to town if you are ok walking along the highway.

One of the best KOA'S we've stayed at. During October fest. Staff and immunity's were perfect. Beautiful surroundings. When we first arrived they told us that the water was off due to a repair being made but was on within a hour. A couple of days later a Staff member came to our site to ask us not to dumb our tanks due to a sewer blockage downstream of our site and wouldn't be able to get a plumber until the next day, was ok as we didn't need to. Just a very nice location in the mountains with the pine trees and river
