It was amazing. We were a bit hesitant to pull our trailer across two passes but all worked out well with the passes fairly clear. Not sure we'd do it again in the winter if road condition were different. It was a great way to start the new year! Plan to visit again this summer. Thank you

We have been coming here since 1990! I love this campground. Close enough to everything but QUIET and family oriented!

The Campground was fine, snow was cleared from the site nicely. The 30 amp power plug was loose fitting and needed to be replaced, but the irritating thing was the campground was nearly empty & when I asked if we could check out up to an hour late I was told that they had no idea when it would fill up and we would have to move to a nearby park-n-ride and call a taxi to get around.

Thanks for letting us know the 30amp wiggled loose from usage! Depending on the day or weather it can be possible to request a late checkout for a fee but there is never a guarantee it will be granted as noted in our General Campground Information page on our website.

This place used to be so chill but it’s gotten far too commercial. We camp here twice a year, every year for the past 17 years. This will be our last year. The camp ground is clean and well maintained but the staff is insufferable. We weren’t there for 10 minutes when a maintenance man pulled over his truck to yell at my 6 year old and his grandparents for playing in the snow.

Safety always comes first and rolling snow off the piles into the roads causing a safety issue was not ok. There are acres of area closed off for this type of activity. Safety will always be top priority! Happy Kamping!

We stayed here Jan 3-6 2025 . Leavenworth had gotten a fair amount of snow and they had done a good job of plowing the roads and the spots. The bathrooms and showers were all kept clean thru the weekend. All of the campground folks were friendly. It is a good place to stay.

Loved the scenery, wonderful staff. Had trouble getting into our site due to the only 3 trees in the area. Bathrooms well kept and paths stayed clear during the snow.

This is a big KOA, we went in winter and there was so much snow it covered anything on the park. Even with the amount of snowfall the staff were able to keep the roads clear and access to all the public spaces was kept clear. The checking was easy and the staff was very pleasant and attentive during our stay. The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed. Will definitely come back.

7 of us (4 adults/3 small children) stayed 3 nights in a large cabin. It was comfy and up to date, very roomy. We had a very nice stay.

The location is spectacular! Staff were very friendly and attentive, even in a busy season. The cabin layout was a bit strange, which is the reason for the lower rating. Specifically: 1. The front door should not block the entire top stoop. Needs to open other direction. 2. Needs awning or porch over front door. 3. Steps to loft are awkward. 4. Not enough space for a family of 4 at t

Wife and kids got there late, went to take the kids to the restroom by the main office there was black ice, wife slipped and fell resulting in a broken ankle and leg. Called Gary I believe he just said sorry offered no help to a woman with kids. I drove all the way out there to get them, we left at 1:30 in the morning. Not even there 6 hours got charged the full time and now a surgery.

cabin kl15 needs some work. Fridge was missing the door bar for one of the shelves so it was usless to hold jars and etc Front door had to be slammed to shut not easy for small kids to do. Main room fan was missing the pull cord so it didn’t work and for 700 dollars for the stay nothing should be wrong. The time spent in Leavenworth was good we will look into a hotel next time tho

The biggest disappointment was the ridiculous extra charge for extra visitors. I do not mind the extra 25 per vehicle even though that is still expensive but also to add 15 per person on top of that. That is way too much. My son and wife visited for 2 hours and had to pay 60 dollars that is more than half of my stay for one night. We have been coming for years but we may have to find another place

This place is magical! It healed a part of my childhood I didn’t know needed healing. The snow, the decorations, the town just beautiful! Definitely a must see with the whole family. The cabin was cute with a great outdoor space for dinners or breakfast or even a campfire

It was snowing when we showed up had about 10 inches on the ground and the KOA road was plowed. Got stuck trying to position my fifth wheel and the guy in the KOA pick up with the plow pulled me out Which was great. Thank you.

I was told that I had to pay a $30.00 upcharge (EACH) to have my Friend stay in the site next to me, guaranteed. I told them I didn't want to pay the upcharge. Upon arriving at the KOA I was told that this time they would put us next to each other, but in the future we would have to pay the $30.00 (EACH) upcharge to have my Friend to be able to stay in the site next to me. Great place . Close to town, quiet and had everything we needed .Just needs a new bed. Valley in the middle hard for 2 people to be comfortable.

This is a really nice KOA site. Nicely stocked cabins, beautiful setting and close to the Leavenworth downtown. We are return customers and will definitely come again. We usually come around Christmas.

Overall a good option for a place to stay during the holiday season at Leavenworth. A couple issues with our cabin, on the top bunk my kid found a dirty sock as well as a washcloth. The floor seemed like it wasn't swept and some areas were sticky. All things easily taken care of by us.

The facilities and campground are amazing! The cabin was clean and fresh. The only issue was that when we reported what we thought was some vandalism on the bathroom window of our cabin, the woman working at the front desk did not believe my husband that it wasn't us! She said something to the effect of "yeah sure it wasn't you." wow!!!! it was crazy!!! it was left over glue from the install.

Fabulous weekend stay. Cabin is cozy and well-equipped for all of your needs. The cabin is smaller than it looks in pictures though. Bunk beds are really made for kids. We had 2 older adults that had difficulty getting in and out of them. Also, kitchen says it has cook top, but really it is a 2 burner hot plate set up. Coffee pot is Keurig so we brought our own coffee pot The cabins are very clean

I stay at the Leavenworth KOA twice a year and I love it a little more each time. The cabins are so clean and cozy, the shower/bathroom houses are so clean and well kept. The staff is amazing and so helpful. The Safeway and Starbucks are a couple of blocks away, but the campground is in a forest setting next to the river. It’s truly magical, I absolutely adore this campground.

We had a great time at KOA in Leavenworth for the 3-day long memorial day weekend. The place is incredible, with tons of nature, activities, clean bathrooms, nice showers and overall just fun for families. Strongly recommended and we'll be coming back.

Lovely setting for camping set amongst the trees. Many nice cabins as well as RV and tent sites. The trail by the river very nice.
