Rv stay was great as usual , for some reason the park was not mowed or quite as manicured as our previous stays though weather had been good, but still enjoyed the park and made it through some bad weather.

We’ve camped there for many years now. It’s always been nice, but is slipping some over the last couple of years. The cabin we had this year was not quite as clean and showed more wear than past years with even some rotted wood on the exterior, also the grounds were not freshly mowed even though there had not been any rain recently. The store/office was not as with rv items etc.. Refresh neede

We stayed lakeside and it was nice. The restrooms were cool and clean. Trash service pickup was prompt and the grounds were well maintained. The stocked pond didn’t disappoint. I caught several bass on plastic worms everyday we were there. We stayed an extra day and the office staff were very nice. We will be back.

We had our 50th high school reunion here in October. The staff (Marley, Matt, Francis, and Mike) were so helpful! We had events Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There was ample parking, and the Magnolia Hall was perfect! Many of us stayed at the Campground utilizing the cabins and RV sites. The cabin I stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the pond. Highly Recommend This KOA!!

Everything was wonderful except for the bed. We were in cabin #1 and the bed was horrible sank right into the middle, had to get air mattress to sleep on. Everything else was great.

Our stay was very positive. There are two issues that should be addressed by the park. One is the water faucet at our site is broken and needs repair. The water cannot be turned off by the valve. It has a temporary Y fitting on the faucet is being used to stop water flow although it leaks. The other and more important is the obvious and long term neglect of the landscaping in common areas.

We stayed there to attend my HS 50th reunion. Both Francis and maintenance were very kind, helpful and professional. The cabins are outdated, need better pans, the toilets do not function well. My husband had to fix the toilet chain many times for it to flush well. Thank you

Very nice park, clean, well kept, roomy sites. Check in lady did not verbally give info that is normally given at checkin - location of bathrooms/showers, password for the internet, where to put trash, etc. She did give us the KOA brochure and a map, but the password did not work when we tried to connect numerous times after business hours. The lady did not seem to know front desk checkin tasks

We always stay at the KOA Lake Conroe location. The office staff is wonderful, courteous and so helpful. We love the cabins and what they have to offer. Super clean and so comfortable. We will return!

First of all we lost power at the pedestal. Worse part is the maintenance guy couldn’t replace the breaker due to park policy he said. So I had to endure the inconvenience of relocating to another site. Second the grassy areas are covered with sand burrs that stick to my dogs and me.

The facilities were very comfortable and clean. The only thing I could say bad about the place is that they are short-handed, and the bathrooms needed paper.

The is clean and well maintained and centrally located. The only problem I had was there was a quest staying in the park with a side by side UTV which was making laps around the at a high rate of speed. I thought UTVs were not allowed in the park especially when operating unsafely. I reported it, they slowed down but continued operations. I should not had to report the should be vigilant about rul

Excellent location for local sightseeing and base camp for the Tx Renaissance Festival. Plenty of amenities in the area. Nice pond for fishing. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Very clean and quiet.

The grounds were clean! The laundry is all done by an app now via your phone, NO cash. Apparently quiet time is only for the RVers because the cabins had a heavy rental presence on Friday night (across from the office) and the pavilion was a rockn until 11:20! Then at 7:15 the gas engine atv started making laps around the ground,fire ants found there way up my water hose and into our rig aswell!

Lots of spider webs outside of and inside the cabin, around the ceiling area, & on the walls. Dead mosquitos around the cabin especially around the door and windows. Dirty AC filters. Purchased a mop & cleaning supplies and spent 2 hours cleaning the cabin from top to bottom. Spider webs covered the lake walkway and cabana. Tub drains slow. Cabins Need periodic a DEEP CLEAN inside and out.

The environment is so promising but the cabin I was in was filled with dust and spider webs and may have sat for some time before I came without a good deep clean. Appreciate the amenities.

Not a place to tent camp although they have 4 sites available. It’s not real camping. We were surrounded by RVs and cars driving by all night. There was zero privacy. The bathrooms were the saving point and reason the rating wasn’t lower. They were exceptionally clean. They looked like they had just been remodeled.

We weren’t in the park much due to attending a family wedding, but the park was very nice and clean. It is one of the largest KOA’s we’ve ever stayed at.

Nice, large facility but the shower stall around campsite 80 had a bad leak which lost all pressure in the shower.

The utensils in the drawer were dirty, dried food on them. There were dead roaches all over the kitchen area. The back of the cabin where you park needs lighting, its completely dark.

A very comfortable and clean campground with many amenities. The bathhouse was very clean. The shower is a great size. This was our second visit. We are still very impressed.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only thing i can comment of is that the Mattress need to be replaced, they are worn through.

Cabin was very clean and very cute. We had some power and Internet issues which were not the fault of the KOA. I have noticed that the last two times we’ve visited the grass is extremely high and unmowed. Tends to make it look untended and hard to walk through to get to the bridge/pond. The walkway over the pond is also very dirty w bird/turtle excrement so I would recommend it be sprayed down.

The power was out from 3p- 7p, and it was hot. This was not KOA's fault. However, the WIFI was never restored because of the outage l. I missed completing things that required wifi, and my children missed doing things also. If I was a first time visitor, I may have decided not to return. However, I haven't had problems before, so I will. KOA is the only place that my whole family can agree on.
