Heard this was the place to camp for Halloween--absolutely no kids. Quiet area. Trains are heard in the distance--nothing like the Paxico campground. Nice people. Calvin was great!

Pulled in late. Filled out paper work. No problem. Stopped before we left to make sure everything was good to go.

Staff was great and the afterhours communication for reservations was great. However, between dusk to dawn more than 12 trains came thru blaring their horns. Along with acorns falling on our RV periodically sounded like someone throwing rocks at us. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep! I

Very good stay, nice helpful people, friendly, courteous. Pizza shop on site as well. The only drawback is the noise… interstate nearby and trains. Lots of train traffic. They apologized for it at check in and it was fine for me, I grew up near the tracks.

Very nice campground but a little tight for BIG Rigs. Can manage but must unhook. Very friendly and assist you to your site. Our site was just a bit longer than our motorhome, but truck parking was nearby. Gravel sites, close to each other. The campground is well maintained, neat and very clean. Office was very tidy and clean. Fairly easy to get to from I70. Will stay again when in the area.

It was a clean & tidy campground. They warned me about the trains nearby & offered ear plugs. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might bother you but it didn’t me. I could hardly hear them with my door shut. They had quick pizza delivery to my door. There is no eating places within walking distance. I’ll stay there again.

Friendly helpful staff. Sites large and park is beautiful. Train tracks nearby so sometimes heard in the motorhome. Would stay again.

Campground was fine, had clean restrooms, but priced too high! We stayed the next night at a prettier non-KOA campground for $20 less!

This is a wonderful campground! The people were great, service great, campground clean, grassy, nice! They were so helpful when we got stuck in the mud after a very bad rain storm. Helped us get out of it. So kind! Loved the place. Would go there more often if we lived closer.

Very narrow tight sites for bigger rigs. Not even enough space to park vehicle at site. Roads narrow. We would not have been able to get out of our site if the people across road had not left and we could drive through site. Store cute. Bathroom beautiful. Very nice staff. Considering is a holiday could use some work in comparison to others we have stayed at.

The pizza was good. They need to work on getting the size correct for rv’s with flat tow. We had to unhook the truck to park. Trains were very load and very close. Other than that they were very friendly

We were greeted with a cheerful crew. Check-in was smooth and quick. We had an escort to our space which was very helpful since the park was filling up quickly. The bathhouse and laundry was very nicely remodeled since our last visit in April. Very nice job. Keep up the good work! We'll be back.

We were in Site # 49. All was good except the grill provided. It was a mangled mess of rebar with broken concrete below it. Most other sites we walked by had nice grills, but not ours and we wanted to grill out.

Very nice campground. Bathrooms are clean and nice showers. Beautiful landscaping around the office. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. Fenced area for pets. Lots of room to walk. Close to downtown Lawrence and also short drive to Nascar races in Kansas City.

Charming landscape but the sites are kind of too small, too close to next site. Bathroom is beautiful but the shower is in small stall.

It’s a nice place to stay as usual and the people are always very nice. However they called me to change spots which I didn’t have a problem with but what they failed to tell me is that it was a 30 amp only and I have a 50 amp RV so I was limited on what I could do. It would have been nice if I’d have been told that in advance.

Tough site to setup on. the drive side is on a hill with a railroad tie wall and only 5 inches of space to the camper.

Spent one night here, enroute to Kansas Speedway for a NASCAR Weekend. Arrived after 2000, the office closing at that time but Jackie texted me all the info with a map waiting at the registration box. Most all the sites were full making the access roads btwn sites a little narrow after dark. The campground was on a gentle hill, but was impressed how level my pull thru, #27! I’d stay here again.

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
