The people who run this KOA are so welcoming and make the campground so homey. Most KOA’s I have stayed do not have the bed made up, have towels and a hair drying already in the cabin. Each cabin has flowers and little areas of flowers. All so sweet and clean.

We were thankful the pool was operational and the cabin was roomy and clean. The owners/staff was former Air Force veterans so that was nice too.

Lawrence campground is great EXCEPT they are remodeling the men’s shower house and have a port a potty available. Not a problem, but it is so dirty! We understand the need for the portapotty but please clean it!! Cabins are nice and staff is friendly and available. We stay at Lawrence KOA twice a year-and always enjoy our time there.

Our family had a college graduation and we all stayed at The Lawrence KOA there were 30 of us. They were amazing, maintenance workers chatted, office staff so helpful and pleasant. The cabin was clean and ready for us. I would definitely stay again.

I am driving by myself and my dog and was a long day. I’ve been slowly heading from Colorado down to Florida and stopped at the Lawrence KOA. I stayed in a basic KOA cabin, and one I am very accustomed to renting. I got there after the office closed and left in the morning. The only thing I would say that was disappointing is that the bathhouse was down and only had a Porto potty.

I book out a year or so in advance, I got a call 30 mins before check in time, to inform me bath house is out of service. Being there for 4 days and not being at the KOA during business hours, & not being able to shower was not on my Vaca list! Wish I'd known before so I could have made different plans. I feel like some refund should be issued, that is quite an inconvenience. We stay 2x a year!

The Kamping Kabin was EXCELLENT, but the bath/showers were CRAMPED. The store shelves were pretty bare - I was stuck and had to leave property for water. The kabin area I was in had little privacy - more of a parking lot and less a campground. Not bad, but I had envisioned something else. I would stay here again, but hope it a little better prepared. Staff were awesome.

I stayed in Lawerence for the American Royal in KC (didn’t want to deal with the noise of the parties etc) it was a nice easy drive, the cabin was clean when I got there and had a heater for how cold it got. The front desk people were super nice and informative. If in the area, would stay again.

I cannot say enough about our stay at KCW/L KOA. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and internationally, and this place is exceptional! Susan, Calvin, and the rest of the staff were the most friendly and compassionate group of people we’ve ever encountered! The grounds were well kept, the bathrooms/showers were super clean, and it honestly felt like a home away! Would stay again

Everyone was very nice. Place was clean. You can go for a nice easy walk around the KOA the roads in the camp area are smooth and makes it easy for walking. Clean play ground for the kids and dogs.

Overall, we enjoyed our weekend at the Lawrence KOA. The cabin was clean and well maintained, although some water damage on the wall and in the floor was evident. It was super nice that linens were provided. Unfortunately , we had assumed there would be a gas grill, as other KOA cabins we have stayed in have had them, and we did not arrive prepared with charcoal. The AC unit was loud.

The stay was wonderful and the staff was incredibly kind! However, it took almost our whole stay for our cabin to get to a bearable temperature and sleeping was pretty miserable. Our kids loved the mining outside, the pool was super clean, bathrooms were clean, and the pizza we ordered on site was yummy and delivered right to us!

I reserved and expected after inquiring to confirm with Staff at time of reservation that I was reserving a Deluxe cabin with full kitchen,I was assured I was. Upon arrival,that wasn't the case but yet the cost was the same as if it had a kitchen. I was informed upon arrival that NO cabins with kitchens are PER FRIENDLY,but cabins without a kitchen are? Simply unacceptable and inappropriate!!

The guest attempted to book on line for a cabin and wasn't able to do so. The only cabins available were a cottage. He called the office and booked. He thought he had a cabin with a spiral staircase andfull kitchen. Unfortunately we have nothing like that n property. We accommodated with availabilit

Always very friendly staff. Door on cabin key lock needs adjusted. Per past visits we like that they close the curtains before arriving to help keep cabin cooler. Bummed we had no sunshine to enjoy the pool. look forward to coming back soon.

All of the staff was polite and courteous. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. They had a security code to help keep us safe. Only negative was the shower. It didn’t have a lot of power. And some of the holes were plugged on the showerhead. And the drain did not drain very quickly. Other than the shower, I highly recommend this Campground.

Arrived as office was closing. We had a flat tire so we called ahead. This was just a quick stop during a cross-country trip so we did not make use of many amenities but there seemed to be a lot to do. Camping cabin was great. Everything was easy. Shower was good and hot. I was allowed to book one night (another KOA nearby would not let me book less than two).

It was great. Couple things- the shower curtain on inside of shower in KT10 had mold in it. We are allergic and it wasn’t bad yet but could have been a big issue but it need washed to remove mold. The AC never went off it ran the entire time and one day it was cool enough in the morning that the heater came on automatically and scared us all awake. We love camping there and will be back

We had a nice stay in one of the cabins which was very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was small but very clean. We thought from the description that the KOA had a cafe. It doesn't have a cafe but only pizza options and that impacted how we had planned our food. The evening pizza option was good but we really didn't want pizza again for breakfast. :)

We are currently staying here, and couldn't be happier, the staff is very friendly and helpful, we've been in our rv full time for 2 years and have stayed at numerous campgrounds thru out the midwest and southwest, hands down this is prob our favorite, the grounds are so well kept, a big storm has came thru 2 dif times, the 1st with a tornado warning, they got everybody in shelter, then last night very high winds, thought the place would be a mess today, nope, spotless as if it never happened, you can tell the staff takes pride in thier work, definitely would stay here again.
