We had a good stay! Quiet enough, nice enough spot, and good playground for the kids. The train all day and night was a lot, but also nostalgic and kind of sweet for me. I was disappointed about the bathrooms being under construction. We had a shower in the rv but it's tiny and we had planned to use the bathhouse Additionally, the shared green spaces and very tight spots were not my preference.

Not good time of year to stay at this KOA! Site was not cleared of big branches and no warning when I made reservations that bathrooms were closed! Office was closed and saw no one working. We just stopped for the night. It’s probably better in the warmer months.

Barley enough room from the truck and trailer, The sewer dump was basically under our picnic table for the site next to us Playground was roped off It was fine for a quick over night but not a long term stay

We stay at KOAWest a couple times a year while we visit our daughter at college. The staff are so friendly and everything is always in great shape. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was low on propane, and they filled it long after the office hours were done just to be kind. They didn't have to, but they're just good people. That makes a stay all the better.

Clean bathrooms. Easy pull through spots. Not far off the highway. Lots of train noise. But for our purposes. Which was to get a good sleep so we can continue to Arizona, it was great! Earplugs work great to block train noise

When we were there, it was just muddy hole. The people with whom we dealt were nice but not a very nice place to stay in March. We'll avoid it in the future.

This was the perfect place to rest before last sprint up to Canada. We were able to winterize the camper and use facilities close by. The exit north was smooth to get on 35N without going into the city.

Sewer did not flow. Ran all over the ground. Had to change sites. Sewer should be checked before issuing the site as open to stay. All sites but 5 were open. Otherwise clean. Friendly staff. Just a bad way to start after driving for 8 hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortuately we did have a sewer back up and had to close down a section of our park to repair it. We appreciate you moving to another site to enable us to take care of it with minimal inconvenience to you and other Guest. Thank you and we hope to see you again.

This place is nice and well maintained. The main thing that retracks from making this a good place to stay is the constant train horns blowing all times of the day and night. The second thing is the price is very high for what's offered. Other than that, the staff is friendly and helpful.

It's hard to Judge staying in the winter for a couple day stop. But it was ok overall. Bathroom and Laundry were very clean. Store was nicely set up and clean. Friendly staff and helpful. Our site was a little disappointing as we had a PT - but they put us on a buddy site right next to another trailer. They had open spots they could of staggered us a little.

We are apologize for the inconvenience. We were working on a water main break in one of the rows and had to close it down for a short period. We hope that you will visit us again in the future.

It is a very nice and clean campground and they were very friendly and helpful. The only thing negative I could say was the train noise and the traffic on the interstate was really loud.It's not the campgrounds fault and I was in a tent so you really can hear it.I will definitly stay there again,but I will bring my camper!Thanks

Quick overnight stay after driving 4 states in 4 days to pick up our new camper! Site was perfect as we needed pull thru with electric only and stayed hitched. Bathrooms and showers spotless! Easy access from interstate! We will definitely stop again if in that area! Kimberly was the person that helped me with my reservation and I sure hope I got her name right cause she will remember us Pacheco's

Stayed overnight but have used this KOA in the past. Good location to layover for a couple of nights. There is a train that runs close by but not to disturbing.

OMG!!! The staff is Awesome and our stay was great. They were very accommodating and friendly and totally welcoming us as well as our family. We will stay again and again when we are in Lawrence, Kansas. A Diamond in the rough campsite������. Yours truly, KOA visitor

Nice clean campground area, close to hiking trails along the river. Bathroom was clean but one shower was being repaired and the other two had slow or clogged drains. Ended up showering in my trailer instead.

In the midst of crazy winter weather…didn’t make my target destination… last minute reservation here… poor staff had water lines break … but such positive and helpful folds even tho they had quite a day… I arrived an hour before they closed and felt bad that I needed propane in this ��� weather… Calvin (who had been working the water emergency was happy to help me out and so positiv

Just wanted a practice run for our new camper. We are taking a big trip in a few weeks and wanted to work the bugs out close to home. Everything ran smoothly.

Convenient to I-70 but the bathroom was in desperate need of updating. There was mold around the bottom because the shower that I used did not drain properly. Frankly it was a bit creepy

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
