The park is very clean and quiet. Showers and restrooms are very nice but the women’s side is very cold. Great during a hot day though.

They were very understanding about a repair we had to make on our camper. It was a beautiful campground. We loved it. They put us very close to the dog park for our dogs to run in. The directions were perfect.

Very nice park, well maintained. The train whistle that others have complained about did not affect us. However, we had earplugs and had our AC on. The couple times my wife heard the train, it brought back memories of her childhood living near the train track. Overall, a great place to stay.

SUPER facility! Nice all around and next time through town without a trailer we'd stay at one of your cabins instead of a local hotel!

My site was terrible. I was next to what appeared to be an abandoned trailer in disrepair with refuse scattered around and under it. Grass had not been mowed in some time so couldn’t even locate my water spigot only to find it low to the ground overgrown by the grass. My cat was going nuts all night as there were either mice or a cat looking for mice around the abandoned trailer.

The campground was clean and well maintained. The internet provided was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed.

The camp sites were clean and well groomed. All the employees were very friendly and always ready to help. It is always nice when the campground takes the extra step of leading you to your camp site when you check in. It's a small thing but greatly appreciated. Our grand kids loved the pool, slash pad, playground and zip line. We will be back.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay Camp hosts we're wonderful, pool was refreshing and our patio site was clean. Only down side was smelling sewage off and on during the night, when our windows were open.

One of my favorite KOA'S to stay at. Very clean facilities, workers are helpful and friendly and the landscaping is is beautiful!

Very nice KOA..everything was as it should be. Bath house /restrooms were 10!!! And had a very nice sized paw park..

Campground was well maintained, restrooms and laundry where clean. Alot for the kids to do. However they have permanent campers and there was a very obnoxious female resident at the pool acting as the keeper. She ruined our pool time.

We have a daughter at KU and stay here a couple times a year. They always have a friendly staff and every helpful. Clean bathrooms and the pool is awesome.Highly recommended!!!!

Extremely friendly staff. Although the staff mentioned the trains at check in we were not prepared for constant every 20 minutes or so the train horns blowing and the long trains passing. Nice park but the train noise is excessive

Came was well groomed and all personnel are friendly. There were plenty of open sites but we were sandwiched between two other campers. Seemed we could have been spread out a little.

Great landscaping. Very nice staff. Our sight was a little short but overflow parking was right across the road. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was great and friendly. The grass could have been mowed a couple of days sooner than it was. The trains were the real challenge. I don't think we'll be staying here again because of that.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry that that you were disappointed during our stay. After the rain from the previous days we try and wait a day before we begin to mow. The wet grass tends to track into campers and we don't want to cause a mess for our Guest.

The staff was amazing. We loved our campsite. Be sure you get the earplugs they provide because the trains come at 2 am.

As hot as it’s been, we were given a site without shade. And right next to us there was an empty side with a nice tree shading the whole site. We were told we could just open the canopy, however that doesn’t help when your door is facing west. I love the convenience, hate not having actual pictures of the park and able to choose the site.

Great KOA. Super clean. Level gravel sites with some shaded by large trees. Good amenities Friendly and attentive staff. Bonus getting pizza and wings delivered right to the campsite by the staff!

Everything was great, sites had beautiful views, concrete pads, beautiful tables and chairs, great chairs by the fire pit, camp store was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Offered breakfast and pizza and chicken wings. Ate breakfast all you could eat pancakes. Delicious.

For 2 years we stayed in a long term spot working a construction job close by. Everyday we knew we'd be welcomed in the park by all the smiles from staff, and probably some banter. We were in a respectful amount of communication about billing, weather issues, park repairs and always notified if we had mail. The staff works endlessly to accommodate the needs of the campers and do an amazing job !!

A 1 night rez turned into 12 while waiting for a new engine in our truck. Managers & staff were always friendly & did whatever they could to keep extending & keeping us in the same spot, as we had no way to move. Refreshing swimming pool. Area nods: Clinton Lake SP Marina. Pizza on the deck./ WWI Museum/Union Station/Joe’s BBQ & Country Club Plaza. Fountains, unique buildings.

Ladies at front desk friendly and helpful and they make pizza and deliver it to your rv sport for a charge of the pizza it was good

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
