That was the cleanest and best kept KOA I have stayed at! Great job and can’t wait to come back!

Staff helpful and friendly, road condition getting worse each time we stay, dust is terrible, addition layer of gravel would help with dust. The power on the roads covers everything when class a drives past.

Convenient stop but honestly the train going through almost every hour is super hard. We couldn’t get any sleep. Friendly people, unfortunate about the train

Everyone was really helpful. The only downside was I was disappointed with the size of the sites. We were pretty much stacked on top of each other with little or no room to camp outside. We had a large tree next to us so I couldn't even put my awning out. Our slides and the slides from the camper next to us were very close to each other.

Nice people and a beautiful park.

Too many train horns throughout the night

Nice enough campground. The showers are very small. Some of the long term campers don’t take care of their site/rv and it really brings down the campground.

Very noisy, a bit run down, many long term residents. Had to dispose of shoes worn to set up and take down camp as ground saturated with mud and what smelled of sewage.

Good environment clean facilities great place to camp

Staff is awesome, very welcoming and knowledgeable. Bathrooms/showers were spotless - it was a nice touch having a toasty warm shower room so we didn’t freeze after turning the water off :). There is a train nearby, but we loved the sounds of travel.

The site was an absolute mud hole. Impossible to get the RV into the site without it sinking about 6 inches deep at the wheels. Also, pretty expensive for what it was. Would not recommend staying here and I would choose another RV park in the area. The next time I visit.

Nice level lots. Just spent one night.

Just spent another 37 days at this rv park. It is one of the best run rv parks we stay at. The people that work there are top notch. We are grateful to have a quality park like this in the Lawrence area. We will, of course, be back!

Clean facilities and grounds, and helpful staff. They accommodated a special request that made my stay more enjoyable.

Friendly staff. Gravel sites were pretty level. Entrance, exits, and interior roads are not marked to indicate traffic flow. Restrooms and showers were immaculate. Dog park was well maintained, but needs more lighting.

Light didn’t work above men’s restroom. Also don’t have any handicapped showers or restrooms. Our is handicapped and wonder how they get by with not having any.

Campground & sites are always neat & tidy. Helpful, pleasant staff. They take you to your site & direct you in. Easy to fill propane & maneuver park roads (44 ft motorhome). Lots of open spaces, equipment & playgrounds for kids of all ages. Nice pool & sitting area. Always stay here when we’re in this area.

It was raining/pouring when i got there after dark. Had no idea the park was next door to what seemed to be very busy train tracks. Left the next day. Didn't see much and got to do even less. Can't really rate anything fairly.

Next to train track that comes thru all night long, whistle blowing, then the highway noise. Could not sleep at night. Not returning here.,

Expensive for what we got. How about some gravel to get ride of the mud puddles? I shouldn’t have to stand in the mud to connect my rv.

My husband and I just finished an 8 week stay here. Everyone who works at the campground as well as the owner is super friendly. We dealt with Calvin a lot and he was fantastic. The location is conveniently located near Lawrence, a college town, which has tons of shops and restaurants. Laundry on site was convenient. It is more expensive but we stayed there because it was easy to get propane delivered or refilled for our first round of snow camping. The only downsides would be that the laundry machines require quarters, which you can get at the office if you have cash, but there's no way to get cash on the premises. And the closest ATM is 2 miles away. I also loved that they had free showers available but the doors open inwards to the stall so you literally can't have your bag in the stall with you and you have to step back into the shower to get out of the stall. Yes. There is a train close by and it's loud and running all hours of the night. I bought silicone ear plugs and had zero issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thought the employees and managers were great, and loved the location.

I recently stayed at a KOA cabin, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. It had everything I needed, from clean bedding to basic kitchen supplies, making it feel like a true home away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful, with plenty of amenities like a pool, playground, and walking trails. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, and I especially enjoyed the evening campfire activities. I also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the campgrounds were at night, allowing me to fully unwind after a day of exploring. KOA's attention to detail and commitment to providing a great guest experience really shone through. I can't wait to come back for another visit and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and hassle-free getaway!
