We had a nice, quick stay but did not enjoy the closeness of the spots. Ok for a one night stay for us but wouldn't want anything longer. Green space was very narrow and shared with the spot across from us. We have a 40ft Montana and the spot was long enough but used every bit of the width with slides out. Hosts were very friendly and showed us to our spot.

Late night check in was easy, map to the site was good to follow. Seems the theme for the KOA’s I’ve stayed at is trains run nearby! Downside is the 7 gallon minimum for propane, my tank is only 6 gallon and usually maximum I get is 4.5 so I wouldn’t pay for twice the amount I can hold(stupid rule).

I was put off by the shared green space. You are very close to the next camper. The nearby trains are noisy at night. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

Such a well-run campground! Very close to the highway and yet it was quiet & surrounded by greenery. The staff was helpful. The site was level, no adjustments needed! If you’re a light sleeper, the sounds from trains might bother you at approx. midnight & 6 AM. Didn’t bother me but woke my husband.

I recently stayed at the KOA in Lawrence, Kansas, and while the location was convenient and the staff was friendly, the facilities were not entirely up to the usual KOA standards I've come to expect. The bathrooms and showers felt outdated and could have been cleaner, and some of the amenities seemed a bit run down. It was still a decent place to stay for a night or two, but it needs updates.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. KOA was clean and tidy. Dog park is beautiful. Only downside was how tight and close together the camp sites were and how narrow the roads are within the campground. Would stay there again, but if you have a big rig (and we don't), just be aware that it is tight.

Well kept campground, sites had mature trees and plenty of space for our truck and travel trailer. Friendly staff, easy access to the highway and Lawrence, 10 to 15 minutes from KU campus.

The amount of days I needed to stay was accommodated to me after seeing on the website that no sites were available. Appreciated the laundry being open 24 hours & having reasonable rates. I was able to spend time with my daughter & son-in-law as well as with 2 of my grandchildren.

Led a group of Airstreamers from ColorAdo headed for an Airstream International Rally in Sedalia Mo. location was great for our purposes. Nice clean park and no we did t mind the trains

The site that I was put in was too narrow for a slide so I had to position it in a way that only left a small amount of space for the pickup. In that case I angled it so as to only have one tire on the grass/weeds. I then got an email addressing this and was told that I could park it in overflow parking down the hill about 100 yards away. This is unacceptable.

The sewer hookup was not in a useful place. We had to backup as we were leaving to access it. This defeats the purpose of full hookups. The sewer hookup that would that was taken by adjacent camper would have worked.

Nice campground. Lots of amenities but we stayed just one night so didn’t take advantage of any. East to get on and off from I-70.

They were so helpful to us, words would be not be enough. We had to arrive early for a family issue. They were understanding and allowed us to temp. park and hookup. Helped us with unhooking our tow. When we returned later that NITE, there was someone there to again help and ensure we got to our spot, and setup for the nite. All with a smile!!! WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN !!!!!!!!!

The staff was very helpful. The property is clean and very well maintained. Bathrooms were recently remodeled and very clean. Lots of activities for the kids. We stayed one night passing through Kansas headed to Illinois and we would definitely go again if we were in that area.
