The cabin was cozy and clean. The bed was not at all comfortable. The mattress sagged in the middle, and the bed made noise each time someone moved around.

This campground was the best place to stay for family weekend at KU! The cabin was clean, it was quiet, and the food was good! We will stay there again!

The staff was very friendly & helpful but the cabin needs some attention. The deck needs some paint & several boards replaced. Either the Direct TV or the TV itself - the reception was horrible! Lines thru every channel, some channels didn't come in at all. & while I understand the internet is basic it really didn't work for us even for basic use.

Our bed in our cabin was really bad. I normally don't complain about anything - but with 2 people in the bed it was about to fall in. With 1 person it isn't as noticeable. We were in cabin DKC23.

My traveling friends had an RV and I did not. But I was offered a cabin if I paid the minimum 2 day stay. It was a bit pricy for one night but given my limit options, I decided to stay with my friends. The cabin was perfect. My friends were very happy with their camp site. I sold my RV several years ago but I know I could always count on KOA. The owners were very helpful.

Camp hosts were very friendly. The pizza is a awesome touch and super good. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was spacious, clean and all that we needed. There is a lot to do on the grounds if you want. It was quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be going back again.

They let me check in early; I call them my KOA family; I was there to look at/buy a house several weekends in a row, and they asked me how it was going, etc.; very clean bathrooms, pool was awesome, spent a lot in the gift shop; I can't say enough good things; I forgot my bedding, and they let me borrow some - very clean and soft!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but there was not a lot to do at this campground. They have a pool and playground area but that is about it. We experienced a lot of breakdown of equipment at this Csmpground. Air conditioner wasnt working in one cabin so had to check out of it, microwave broke in a different cabin, gas smell in the third cabin so didn’t use the stove in that cabin.

This is my 2nd time staying at this KOA and it didn’t disappoint. I was upgraded to a bigger cabin and loved the change. Only complaint is the tv didn’t seem to have a good connection and was always fuzzy. And it would be good to have an extra blanket available. Everything else was perfect!!

We had 4 cabins for three nights. 8 adults and 12 children. The reservation process over the phone was simple and all were correct when we arrived. The staff are friendly and helpful. We used most of the amenities: BB, volleyball, bags,pool, Gaga ball, zip line, playgrounds. The cabins are clean and had all we needed to prepare our meals. Thank you for making our reunion grand!

We spent a night here in a Camping Cabin on our way to the Rocky Mountains. The Cabin was what we are accustomed to in that it had a full bed and twin bunk beds. It had air conditioning. The campground is nice. It was very quite and peaceful as it is surrounded by farm fields. It has a nice looking pool.

Our stay was awesome. The bed in the room of the screened in porch cabin was not that comfortable but the employees and that particular KOA was great! We have been going here for at least 15 years and I do have to say we miss the outside blow up jumping pillow that used to be there by the entrance. That seemed to be where all the kids would be. Mine weren't too interested in the playground.

We had a great time and my kids loved it. Everyone there is so friendly. Our only issue was that the pots we were provided were full of rust and unsafe to use, and our cabin was about 85 degrees even with central air and window unit running.

Pros: -Big Rig Friendly (40 ft 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups - Two playgrounds - Frisbee golf baskets - kids zip line -nice clean bathrooms/showers -dog park - good Starlink service -Verizon coverage was decent Cons -the showers in the women's room were difficult to maintain temperature and would get really hot for three seconds and then back to normal - loud train nearby Great campground. Would stay again.

Had a great experience renting a small cabin traveling through on I-70. Very clean cabin, very convenient for I-70 travelers. Bathroom was spotless, entire staff was smiling and made you feel like family. Great location to downtown Lawrence for shopping and entertainment. 👍 Lawrence KOA does it right. Will visit again when traveling through.
